Pros: * The boat was spacious, clean, and well maintained. * There was a good selection of food and drinks. * The staff was friendly and welcoming. * The tour guide was excellent, and we enjoyed learning about the history of Montreal during the cruise. Cons: * The food and beverage areas appeared to be understaffed, which resulted in longer wait times. * I wish the cruise had traveled farther or stopped at different locations so guests could get off and explore. I would gladly pay more for a longer experience with additional stops. Overall, I would still rate this experience 5 out of 5. The positives far outweighed the minor drawbacks, and the boat tour was a memorable part of our family vacation in Montreal.

He spoke English the while time which wasn't his first language but he did awesome! It was super appreciated parce que malgré que mon français n'est pas si pire malheureusement mon chum comprend très peu. There was an expected tip with this service as well...which i was more than happy to accommodate because of how awesome our guide and horse were...but i ended up leaving 20$ as a tip and i'm not sure if that was cheap or not but i hope it conveyed how happy we were with the service. I should have just asked him what he normally gets tipped. We learned so much about the city and saw so many things we can't wait to go back and discover more of! As a funny anecdote: when the ride was over the driver said "there are so many flEAs today" which being bilingual i immediately understood to be "flIEs" but mispronounced due to the language barrier and thought nothing more of it...i later found out my boyfriend understood it literally as FLEAS lol and being that we had our dog with us he avoided the horse for the rest of the time we were there lol!! All in all awesome, appreciated, amazing experience that i can't wait to repeat...in Vieux Québec and here at home in Mtl.

We couldn't find anywhere near the city that rented proper motorcycles, so I looked into scooters! Quebec adventure tours was perfect. The guy who signed us in was a hoot. Spoke English as well as French, and he was funny! He did a perfect job of introducing us to the scooters (we've never ridden automatics before!) One of my favorite things is that he did a perfect job of balancing the fun of riding with the responsibilities and dangers. He didn't scare the new people, but made sure they understood how to stay safe and have a healthy respect for the bikes. The scooters were 50ccs (a fair bit smaller than my Kawasaki 1700!!) It was worth the trip in no small part because of Yves Tardif. I could have seen its historic architecture and sampled the delightful food without his assistance, but Yves provided the narrative. He told us of the story of the founding of Quebec City and of its key role as the initial capital of the province of Quebec. He provided us with not only the political and military history of the city, but also the cultural development of the city, especially within the last fifty years. I learned about the role of the various organizations within the Catholic Church in the development of Quebec City and its continuing role in its daily life. He has a delightful sense of humor, and chats without lecturing. He made the city come alive!
