We have used Enterprise several times and the service is beyong reproach! We desperately needed a car on short notice for first thing the next day - Enterprise picked us up ( as we had no transport), waited while we fitted the babies car seat, took us as a family to Northallerton to fill in the paperwork and when my husband dropped the car off the following day, they gave him a lift home. I was met by Paul Anderson, who leaped into action, examined the problem, and called an Enterprise representative, who helped us in resolving the issue. Enterprise Car Hire in Northallerton is a friendly, welcoming company where you feel valued as a customer. The cars are always turned out to the highest quality, and if there is ever the slightest flaw in that quality they will knock money off or give you a free upgrade for the next time you hire a car with them. The company frequently offers deals such as cheaper cars for the weekend period, but something to be aware of is the surcharge for drivers aged under 25. However, I have never had any problems with the cars that they provide and should I have need of a rental car in the future I would definitely use this company. read more

Totally unimpressed by this branch of Enterprise. I made an online van hire reservation and gave my VISA debit card details. Received a phone call to say because I wished to pay by debit card I needed to supply further security details. The person at Enterprise was unable to verify my current address on his computer and therefore declined the reservation. The address I gave is where I live and have been since 11 years. Unknown to me, Enterprise have debited my bank account for the cost of the rental they have refused. I am now informed by them that a refund will take two weeks... disgusting! Not a company with good customer service and will not use them again or recommend them to anyone. read more
