My parent's had the misfortune of having car trouble while on vacation and had to get a rental car to tide them over. When they got back to the area I had the pleasure of going with my Dad to return the car. The people that work at this one were really nice and understanding. They were surprised that the car came from North Carolina first of all, but then they realized where the sand came from. They apologized to my Dad for the state of the car when he received out of state, even though it was not their doing. They did a quick once over of the car to make sure there was no damage as they do. Few signatures and printouts later and we were out the door and on our way. read more

Very poor customer service. Apparently, this location does not allow personal vehicles to be left on the lot, but they do not communicate that when reservations are made. I was basically told tough, because there are signs in the parking lot. Guess what genius, most people don't drive to a rental car facility and make their reservations in person, and, when you get there to depart is a little too late to tell CUSTOMERS that you can't accommodate them leaving their personal vehicle there. It was suggested that I park in the somewhat run-down strip mall across the street. No thanks. I cancelled my reservation and drove my own car. read more

After a cancelled flight I rented a car to travel one way. Even though many companies do not allow this Enterprise did. They normally have a 1 way return fee, but that was waived in my case. Easiest car return ever made! read more

This Johnstown location us unbeatable! I have rented 4 vehicles from Enterprise over the past year. The service is fast, easy, and friendly. The prices are affordable and they have a great selection of cars for any occasion. Recently someone wrecked into my car and fled the scene. This was my first accident and I was worried that getting my car to a shop and getting the rental would be extra stressful. Isaiah from the Scalp Ave. Johnstown location was bright anr cheerful. He helped me work with my insurance and got me into a sweet 2021 Dodge Challenger! I left way happer then when I came in. Enterprise never disappoints. I would recommend this location to anyone. Absolutely bar none the worst rental car experience in my life!! Tired to rent a car Friday the representative on the 800 reservation line told me way too hard todo on short notice!! My insurance set up the rental with enterprise on Friday at 4pm. The store left me a message to call them to give them dates needed. Yep great idea! If only they would ever answer the phone!! They don't. ! So drove to the store, yep told me They had no cars! I explained I needed it and they had already disrupted my schedule and impacted my life!! Could have cared less! Ask if there were other locations with cars?? Answer: not that I know of ! Bottom line insurance companies will work with other rental places.. pay-less in Johnstown pa has always been great! Rented a car from this location. Dropped the car off then hours after my drop off they called to say there were scratches by the back bumper. The thing us when I dropped the car off they inspected the car said everything was fine and I left. Smh this location will lie to get money out of u mind u when the rented it to me it already had scratches on it. Never again will I rent from his location. This really turned me off from enterprise. So I never in my life leave a review but here we are. My very first rental experience. So I had to rent a car from new enterprise because my car got hit. The insurance covered me for a 3 day rental. The girl walked me out to the car and did a walk around. If you have ever have been to this location the car was parked if you pulled in the lot, building on your right it was along the left side against the curb backed up to the bushes. She walked along the driver side and noticed some scuffs on driver side back corner of bumper. Took pics to document walked back around driver side and around front to the other side. Never fully looked at back bumper trunk area do to how close it was parked. Got in went over gas and mileage and I was on my way. Upon returning they noticed because i parked up front, that the driver side back bumper reflector was cracked, and pushed in. They say they would have never rented this vehicle if it was like this when I got it. So now they kept my deposit and most likely I am on the hook for a $500 deductible. Understandable if I had done it. I barley drove the vehicle and the damage is right by all the scuffs and no new damage around this reflector. If she would have pulled this car forward to do a complete walk around I a sure you it would have been noticed. Thank you so much for my first rental experience lessened learned read more

I needed to rent a car to travel to a family reunion out of town. My mother had rented from this location in the past so I decided to go with them. I don't have a major credit card so I had to take my pay stub and a bill in my name. The young lady that waited on me scrutinized everything, which I do understand they need to do, but I got the feeling as she asked the other lady in the office a lot of questions that they were trying to find a reason not to rent me a car. But I passed that test!! Next she asked if I would like to upgrade to a nicer car for only $3 a day, and even took me out to see it. I said no, that I had reserved a compact car because I wanted something small and would like to stick with that. That's when I was told there wasn't a compact car available. I feel in that case the upgrade should have been free, but it wasn't. I was asked if I wanted insurance coverage for $25 a day that would cover if anything happened. I said no because I was already stretching my budget by renting a car but I was continually told that it was a great deal and most costumers chose this option until I agreed. During this whole process I don't think either woman in the office ever smiled. The woman who seemed to be in charge looked absolutely bored and annoyed that she had to do anything. She was the one who took me out to the car. As she walked away she told me that they had a parking lot attendant and if I was "caught" being late dropping the car off on Sunday I would be charged through Tuesday as Monday was a holiday. I understand this is their policy but I feel there are much nicer ways to convey it. There was a severe lack of costumer service during my visit and I will not rent from this location again and I will have to think real hard before I rent from enterprise again. read more
