    This place have my nothing but issues from the day I rented the car…read more First it was t clean the hatchback was sticky and I couldn't open the truck. I rented through Priceline and that was an issue. When I arrived they said I didn't have a reservation because I went through Priceline. They also said my insurance that I purchased through Priceline was useless and needed to add their insurance. I thought I paid for the rental through Priceline and made a deposit and the man told me know it wasn't paid so I had to deal with two holds on my credit card. Then he told me I could pay using ATM or another credit card when I returned which was not the case. I called and extended the rental and they gave me a total of $1200 and I returned it a day earlier and it was $1314. I asked if I could use part ATM and part credit card which was what was told to me prior. Now I'm told I can't. I said the amount you're telling me is more than I budgeted and returned it early. I asked why was it more and they couldn't give me an explanation. After paying with my ATM would they release the funds that were held on my credit card and was told no it will go towards the rental. I said I just paid the rental in full. Ryan told me I wouldn't be getting the hold released. At this point I have no confidence in this place and will watch my credit card and should have my $330 released! Frustrating! Trying to help the next person to choose a better place to do business and avoid the frustration I've had to deal with.

When we got to this location there were 2 people waiting in front of us while the employee helped another person at the counter. I don't know how long he had been helping him before we got there, but it took him another 30 minutes. He averaged about 30 minutes per customer. This was especially frustrating because there was another employee, but even though there was a store full of people all he seemed to be doing was walk around. Not once did he stop to help to clear people out. It was obvious that he was more than capable of helping people because the guy who was doing everything kept asking him questions. It took us about 2 hours and we left with a Buick Encore... its basically the size of a clown car. So much for being promised a larger vehicle. This place needs more employees and more vehicles. It should not take 2 hours to rent a car.

I reluctantly booked a 7 passenger SUV and waited in trepidation as my pick-up date approached. Don't know if the management changed recently or if every prior disgruntled customer this location ever served banded together to burn their Yelp page down, but my experience was BETTER than any of the airports I recently rented from. I was in and out in less than 10 mins. The walk around on the vehicle was already completed and I only had to review the pictures they took. The car was pretty much brand new (1500 miles on the odometer) and was a full size 7 seater and not a 5 seater that got "stretched" into the larger vehicle category. My experience here doesn't invalidate any other reviews but we all should keep in mind that a place with mixed reviews could easily be because of the tendency of people to bias towards the negative rather than giving praise for a job well done. In this case, for me, Hertz in Hemet did a job well done!

He also told me they had a list of vendors that he'd reach out to to get the best deal on the part. None of this ever happened. I called him for 3 days straight, it was always "give me one hour and I'll get back to you," never happened. I think he was just waiting for me to get sick of him... I did pretty quickly.
