I've used Enterprise for over 20 years and never had an issue until this location. My daughter was sent here by Columbia Insurance after their insured driver hit her vehicle. She had a confirmed insurance replacement rental and was told to arrive at 10:30 AM. When we showed up, there were no vehicles available. The employee even contacted USAA and verified her full coverage insurance, but still seemed unsure how to proceed. We were told we would receive a call back after lunch, which never happened. Now it's the next day, and after returning again, we were told there still are no vehicles available and nothing will be available until after closing. This is unacceptable for an insurance replacement rental situation where someone is left without transportation due to an accident caused by another driver. On top of that, the location appeared to be severely understaffed with only one employee trying to manage everything. Very disappointing experience, especially after being a long-time Enterprise customer. Avoid this location. read more

Y'all never have cars in stock and when needed and then top of paying for the extra insurance you have nerve to charge a $75 cleaning fee for a little bit of dog hair. Only reason to use you for service is because y'all in cahoots with Progressive insurance. read more

This is not your usual airport car rental! Picking up a car in the morning was more of a social event. We had an unscheduled day before the start of the Lek Treks bird festival, so wanted a car to go exploring. We got chatting not only to Amanda, the Enterprise employee there, but also to other customers. Amanda was very efficient, we had a nice VW to use, and overall this was one of the best car rental experiences ever. read more

Amanda at the Hays location is awesome. They are our go to when we need vehicles. Friday was no exception. We were in a bind and her and her staff went above and beyond to get us a couple vehicles. Additionally, there was an issue with one of the rentals and she quickly got it switched out for us. We appreciate Amanda and her staff. read more

Preordered/booked a car, went to pickup today and was told there were NO cars available. Very lucky that Hertz had a car to rent. Absolutely horrible, should NEVER allow booking for cars that don't exist, this isn't rocket science! Hays is a remote town so if you're stuck you have no other options. made a reservation a week before arriving. Arrived at 11:00 they were closed checked at 11:30 they were closed 1215 someone there. They advised me my appointment was for 8 o'clock and I did not have a car. I have sleeping/pain issues and I do not wake up till nine or 10. I would never have made an 8 o'clock appointment. In Hays Kansas you don't just go get another Rent-A-Car they ruined my vacation, my five day visit with my daughter and her kids. Beware that rental agency is not at airport and is not open on weekends. My car was not ready when I picked it up. I was asked to clean my rental car because they were busy. When I dropped it off I asked if they would email my receipt and I gave the associate my email address. They never emailed receipt. I had to call two weeks latter. read more

This place charged my daughter $50 just to leave with a car that was paid for by another insurance because their client totaled her car. Then when she returned the car they claimed a 1/4" scratch was caused by her and charged her $500 deductible of her insurance to leave it with them. totally uncool and very unprofessional considering she only had it for three days and drove it a total of 10 miles. What a joke, rented car but no car to be had!! They offered a 15 passenger van instead!! Enterprise will let you down!! Hertz provided a band new Dodge Charger the day Enterprise failed me!! I attempted to reach out to Enterprise customer service but they never called me back!! read more

Walked into the building and stood there for at least 5 minutes before the employee decided to come out of the back room. Awful customer service. Booked a van week ahead of time, no van was availbe when we got there to pick it up. They offered us a Tahoe but we would have to wait many hours before it would be available. They then suggested we take a truck. The truck did not have enough seats for us and would have been way more in gas for our 8 hour trip. I asked the lady how long she had known that the van would not be availble and she told me "since yesterday". She knew the day prior and could not have called to let us know so we could make other arangements. I understand that things happen, but this company did nothing to try to make up for this. Thankfully HERTZ had us a van and matched the price for us. HERTZ was great to us and we will use them again. read more

Fast service. I was able to pick the car I wanted. Car wasn't the cleanest, but it worked. Later Did have issues with a toll bill I received from enterprise. After over an hour on the phone calling different places. Found out after calling New York toll office there was no violation with the tag number on my car. Plus the toll was on a bridge between Bronx and Queens. Since I live in Kansas I don't think it would have been me. Funny, after calling enterprise, I was told to not worry about bill. So how often does this happen and people pay the bill and not think about it? read more
