This was a really tricky area to get to if you didn't fly into Pearson. There is signage inside of…read morethe airport that directs you where to go but if you're driving to this branch to rent a car (they seem to have more options for drop-offs from this location interestingly enough), it's confusing. The signs from the 409 only tell you were to go to drop-off a previously rented car which is towards departures (you'd think it would be at arrivals right?). Well, this is actually where you want to go to pickup a car as well. So yes, we drove a car here to rent a car since we dropping someone off. There's only one entrance for personal vehicles into the parking structure that houses ALL of the rental car places so it might be a little confusing. There are a lot of entrances that are blocked off so pay attention to the signs and don't drive your car over the road spikes. When you finally get inside, it's a little confusing on where to park because there are a ton of barriers and toll booths. Most of it is only one-way driving. There did end up being parking right outside of the Enterprise area but I have no idea how you actually drive there. At one point we tried calling the desk for directions but no one picked up. The inside where the counters are is actually really nice and modern. We went later at night so there was only one agent working there. The area there is pretty large and there's enough space to socially distance. The compact SUV that was booked online was somehow not available. The agent let us know that he had equivalent ones. This one actually turned out better as they wound up giving us a 2020 Mazda CX-3, AWD for that winter driving, with only 20km on it! It came complete with new car smell and was very clean on the inside. It also had some great features that were good for driving long distances with a digital infotainment system that can connect to your phone through Bluetooth/USB/etc. I'm not sure if all of their cars have these types of features in mind but definitely ask as they were super convenient. The entire process (minus finding out how to get there) took less than 10 minutes. Super easy process and so happy with the quality of the car that we got!

We booked our rental two…read moreweeks in advance, yet after a long flight we were left waiting over 40 minutes at 2:00 AM, only to be told they were sold out and had no vehicle for us. What's the point of making a reservation if it isn't honored? Leaving customers stranded in the middle of the night after confirming our booking is completely unacceptable. To make matters worse, we had no choice but to pay for a taxi to our hotel in the middle of the night because Enterprise failed to provide the car we had reserved. The customer service was unprofessional, disorganized, and showed no urgency or genuine effort to help. This experience caused unnecessary stress and extra expense after an exhausting day of travel. I will never book with Enterprise again and would strongly advise others to think twice before relying on them.

Worst car rental experience I've ever had…read more The car we were originally assigned had a flat tire, so we had to be given a different vehicle. Unfortunately, the replacement car was also in poor condition. The seats were dirty, the passenger-side seat belt strap was ripped, and the key fob battery was very low. On top of the vehicle issues, the company had limited mileage, required a very high deposit, and is located outside Toronto Pearson Airport, which was inconvenient. Overall, this was a very disappointing experience from start to finish. For the price and the condition of the vehicles, I expected much better. I would not recommend this rental company and will never use them again.

I returned the car about an hour early (2 hours if you count the grace period). There was an inspection done of the car and the girl told me it looks fine and asked I sign. I did and went home. I opened up my email and they told me that the car was too dirty and that they're charging me 250$ for cleaning. I could have vacuumed it (there was sand from the beach) or even gotten it detailed which would have cost around 100$. I would even have eaten a 125$ charge and shrugged my shoulders and thought that I should have done things differently. That's pretty sneaky which is too bad because I would have gone back. Despite there being no line when we arrived at their off-airport location, the pickup process took an eternity. There was an endless mountain of paperwork (some on paper and some digital) and upsell offers, and more than half the time, we were just standing there with no idea what we were actually waiting for. It took just as long for the car to finally be brought out to us. When we finally got the vehicle, it only had 1/4 tank of gas. While they only required us to return it with the same amount, starting a trip on empty is incredibly inconvenient, especially if you have a long drive ahead. To make matters worse, the car was FILTHY. I have never seen a dirtier rental car. The exterior was bad, but the interior was gross. The rearview mirror was so caked in grime that it actively blocked the driver's view--wiping it with a simple tissue brought up a disgusting amount of dirt. Even worse, we found used chewing gum left behind in the rear passenger side storage pocket, which ended up getting stuck to a drink my sister placed there. Absolutely disgusting. Returning the car was fast, but equally frustrating. At pickup, a staff member did a quick video walkthrough to document pre-existing scratches and assured us we wouldn't be responsible. Because it was dark, I was skeptical of her video quality and thankfully took a ton of my own photos. Sure enough, at return, a different staff member asked us about those exact scratches and demanded proof that we didn't cause it. When I brought up the employee video, it was completely ignored. If I hadn't taken my own photos, we would have been wrongfully charged. All in all, a terrible experience. I have no idea how this place has high ratings on Expedia (8.1 out of 10, where I rented through) and Google Reviews (4.6 stars). Save yourself the stress and rent elsewhere.

Some companies charge an underage fee. A friend recommended this place and I am glad he did. Had great experience. They offer extremely competitive prices. There is no underage fee, which was a huge positive! Very friendly and easy to deal with. The car wasn't old and was very clean from inside. The only suggestion I have is that they should start offering pick-up and drop service. If they do that in the future, I would certainly give them 5 stars. Overall, they do a fantastic job. Highly recommend this place to everyone.

After reading all the 1 star reviews, i almost decided to cancel all my reservations... but i end…read moreup rented from this place, and it wasn't THAT bad... some impressions: 1. the 3 Middle Eastern guys working there doesn't strike you as the most enthusiastic people you ever work with 2. half of the time you call their number, you get a recording where the voice mail is not set up. and when you do reach them, the person would tell you call them again only when you are at Viscount, then they will send you a shuttle. 3. as some pointed out, you can't ride on the shuttle from the same place as the other rental car shuttles, but you have to walk a bit, ride on a train to the Viscount station, then only then you can call them and then they will send you a shuttle. the shuttle wait was about 10 min, but the whole walking/searching took more than half hour 4. after i returned the car, i was finally able to convince the shuttle driver to drive us to the terminal instead of the Viscount station. He did give me some obvious hint that he wants more tips for his troubles... i end up gave him 20 CAD on the good side, i enjoyed the car... i reserved a "mid-sized car" and i end up getting a 2017 Civic. that was nice. there was a $750 deposit which they'll return to you after you return the car my sister in law end up getting some wierd charges on her bill... i didn't get those wierd charges... but it's better to remember to ask for an itemized receipt. it's not a totally horrible car rental place especially if you come in prepared... the price is indeed cheaper than others... but if you are short on time, i do suggest you find some other rental places

It took almost 2 hours to get my car on a weekend when I had a pick up scheduled and there were only 3 people ahead of me in line. It took about 45 to drop my car off on a weekday, with 2 people in front of me, and the shuttle left without me as I was waiting/begging one of the staff to please just take my keys so I could catch a ride. Shuttle only comes every 30 so once I missed it, waiting an additional 30 minutes for its return was not an option. I ubered from the airport and to the airport, the shuttle is impossible to find from the airport itself. I would highly recommend just getting a rental car from one of the companies in the airport.

Alamo is under the Enterprise holdings parent company and it also under the same ownership as National. Upon arrival, lined up at the Alamo counter and was serviced by the National agent. Signed some paperwork with the National agent and proceeded to the garage to have the attedant present my vehicle from the National collection. As the vehicle had merely 7/8 of a tank of petrol, informed the staff at the exit whom merely "notated" my folio. There was no option to get a paper receipt confirming 7/8 tank of petrol. I did take a photo of the petrol gauge prior to departure. The Full size vehicle, Chevy Malibu, per Alamo, was merely a mid-size, per the manufacturer, Chevrolet. An Impala apparently is considered a "Premium" vehicle... Upon returning the vehicle at Pearson, the staff checked-in the vehicle and sent a receipt to my inbox.

Like what kind of nonsense is that? And then it won't let me cancel the reservation either because it's past the cut off time.
