My company put me in a rental until my car was ready so they chose this spot. When I arrived and throughout I was taken care of by the manager Matthew. I had to change the rental 3 times with little issues and he was good with it. With the last car something on the bottom of the car came loose and one lady told me the wrong thing as if it was fault and that got me upset. I spoke to Matthew the next day and he took care of it right away. Besides that the car ran ok with no major issues. Quick and efficient service just how I like it!! This was my 1st time coming here due to a recent experience in which I needed a car right away. I literally got up early and booked a car on a Sunday and came right over and picked it up! The gentlemen at the front counter were very nice and professional. I probably was only in there for about 20 minutes and was out the door. The man pulled up my reservation, checked me in, we did the full walk through to make sure there was no existing damage to the vehicle. The only complaint that I had (which is why I didn't give it 5 stars) is there was an odor in the car that smelled like marijuana that I could not seem to get out for at least a few days. The smell was very powerful, almost as if someone had literally just been smoking in the vehicle. Otherwise, the car itself was fine, the service was great and it was quick! This Enterprise is located right on 1&9, making it very convenient to travel. Sometimes there can be a bit of traffic, but that is to be expected off a major highway. read more

I am especially grateful for the wonderful customer service and professionalism presented by just Jessenia and Matthew. First informals I was picked up by Terrence who was also very nice. Jessenia was especially helpful! Although the inventory was very limited, (hence the 4 stars) she worked to find a car that was within my standard. She explained that there would be an extra charge, but asked her manager Matthew to provide a discount. Well Matthew did more than that! He went above and beyond in ensuring that the insurance company would indeed pay for the upgrade.He was extremely patient and spoke with the insurance people to ensure that I was getting all that I was entitled to! Miscommunication between Insurance and enterprise, never had that much problems picking up a rental vehicle in the past, this place wanted to charge many fees and taxes that are not required in other locations and on top of that they didn't offer a regular sedan like they had said and similar to vehicle being repair. read more

Long story short, the woman at the counter didn't let me get a vehicle because she decided that my Driver's license looks suspicious. Got a really good price for a week in August and reserved ahead of time on-line; the car was there as promised. The office was a little busy on a Monday at noon, so it took a bit of time to get the car, but the staff was apologetic and professional and got to us as soon as they could. They even followed up by phone once the rental had started, to make sure we'd been briefed on everything we needed to know, since they'd been a bit rushed while we were still in the office. MUCH less expensive than renting in Brooklyn; and good, clean, albeit very basic (non cruise control!) car. We will probably rent at this location again. Rented a car to drive to South Florida from New Jersey. Check engine light came on the day before I was heading back home to NJ. I called Enterprise and was bounced around from location to location in South Florida. I was told no cars were available for an exchange, and I should go to the airport the morning before I head home to make an exchange. Needless to say I drove back home (2300 miles) with the light on praying for no issues. When I got back to NJ I complained to management and was given a discount for my rental. But it was not worth the aggravation and stress that I experienced. It's as if they rent you a car and if it fails you they wash their hands of it. Was having a bad day due to a mistake by Linden VW service forcing me to rent a car. What a difference in attitude at this Enterprise where Carla and Dan were friendly, accommodating, and professional. They worked to give me the best deal possible on a vehicle and were ready to drive me back to the dealership the next day (sorry, I forget the driver's name). Only reason for 4 stars rather than 5 is that the inventory was so limited. I would have preferred a smaller, cheaper car but had to settle for a minivan. read more

Made me wait an hour and 20 minutes for a POS electric blue car. no apologies made. I was the first customer in and 8 people were assisted before I got the car. I needed a rental while my car was being fixed at the shop and supposedly a reservation had been made for a rental. I was expecting to show up, sign papers and leave. The staff had no sense of urgency. Unprofessional demeanor overall. A secretary was being rude to a customer on the phone while she was rubbing her bare feet under desk. She had taken her shoes off. Please don't go here to rent your car. We flew to NJ to attend a funeral. We were super late so just wanted to get our car and leave. They didnt have our car. So se asked for another - they said sorry it would come at an upgrade cost! So u mess up and then are asking me to pay more? i escalated to the mgr who had us wait another 20 min just to let us know that nothing can be done. Zero sympathy, zero regard for customer service. The manager's name is Conroy. UPDATE: Since writing my review i went to return the car. I happened to be served by David the district manager. After processing my return he asked how my experience was. When i told him he got visibly upset. He offered to take off one day's charge from my rental. Additionally since i was waiting for my uber driver to take me to the airport - he offered to drive me to the airport! Despite the initial bad experience David did what he could to turn it around. I rented a car from this location for a week in April 2016. The customer service was outstanding -- more than one person behind the counter greeted me when I returned the car, everyone was nice, the bathroom was very clean. I had to wait longer than I wanted to get picked up at the train station, but after getting back to the office and seeing how slammed they were (Friday at 6 p.m.), I understood why the delay. Terrible business, stay away. Like another reviewer said we got a car that had to be returned because of problems with the lights. Took several hours of my vacation time. They would not give me a penny back for my troubles. I called corporate and they agreed with me but said any refunds are up to the individual stores. Unbelievable. We've rented exclusively from enterprise over the last 10 years - probably about 50 times total from locations all over the country. We've consistently had excellent service. Until today. We walked into the office to return our rental car. The female employee behind the desk didn't make eye contact at all while mumbling to us that she'd be with us soon. She then walked into a back room never to reappear. About 10 minutes later, Raoul, who had helped us (friendly and courteous) when we picked up our car, walked in and proceeded to check us out. No acknowledgement of our wait. I mentioned that our paperwork indicated an incorrect charge. He took the charge off but again with no apology for the error. At the end he asked us about the customer service. When we said we had waited for a while without any help he said, awkwardly, something about there being only one person available. Of course, no apology. And then he said, "but was the customer service ok - like picking up your car". Seems he was a bit confused about the meaning of customer service. As we were driven to the train station by the surly driver who checked his phone while we stood around waiting for him to open the trunk, we vowed never to return to this location. read more
