I had a fat tire and was quoted an appointment would take anywhere from 4-7 days and have to be dropped off for the day at Can. Tire, Kal etc. (meant huge hassle and work interruption for me). And they all wanted $60+. Cars Clinic took my car the next day and fixed it within an hour for $30. They also replaced a automatic window motor and did other mechanical work. I found their pricing to be way lower than dealerships or other major shops. They were able to get me in right away and were incredibly friendly and gracious to myself, my husband and my father. I'm wondering if the other reviewer from 2014 was at this shop?? as this has never been my experience or that of anyone I know. If anything when they did our brakes the estimate was higher than our final cost, which was a nice surprise. I definitely will keep going back. (so glad I found this hidden gem on the recommendation of another mechanic who also goes there since he's retired).

We said we just wanted two tires for the front as the rear tires were still good and we asked for gently used as we were selling the car in the spring. We went back and forth between the mechanic and the owner and there is a bit of a language barrier. They finally quoted us a total of $300 with installation. I dropped my car off, reiterated that it was just the two front tires that needed to be replaced. Then my fiancé and I pick the car up and have a $500 bill. They did an inspection and fluid top up without permission and said that it had to be done even though we had just done it a couple months ago and my car doesn't get used much as I walk to work. There was no explanation as to why the tires all of a sudden cost more. We told them we were not impressed and that we would not be back. The owner apologized and offered to give us a partial refund. About a week later my car was smashed in a hit and run and the owner offered to buy the tires back and buy the car as it would be easy and cheap for him to fix. We agreed. He came to my work to pick up my keys and sign the change of ownership and pay me. He told me he would be back that night with my license plate. He never showed up. I waited a couple of days and then called him. He told me that last time he say me he wanted to hug me as squeeze my because I looked so hot but he didn't because he was wearing dirty coveralls. Then he told me that he would either drop off my license plate that night or the following day but would call me in an hour to let me know. He never called. This shop is very unprofessional in regards to their pricing and behaviour towards woman.

He went out of his way to make sure that I got excellent service and if he could save me some costs he had no problem recommending those procedures, parts, whatever. If something needed repair or replacement, either Moez or Peter would show me (They knew my father was a mechanic, so I was no stranger to the workings of an auto shop.) what the problem was, and offer various solutions. So why the 1 rating? Moez is no longer there , nor is Tanzam Auto. And Peter is MIA too. Tanzam has been folded into M&M Auto on 63rd ave. Moez is semi-retired. The new group seems to be more concerned with lining their pockets than offering automotive service. Doomsday scenarios combined with unnecessary repairs and part replacement rather than offering the excellent service I had come to expect with Moez. Do NOT confuse the service you got from Tanzam with M&M, because they are decidedly different. Tanzam WAS a 5. M&M, currently is a 1. Work on it. In the meantime, I'm once again stuck without, what I consider to be, an honest mechanic.

We booked his 30 person Party bus to do a 18th birthday pub crawl for or twins this past Saturday. I had asked him to help arrange the bar line up as we are not from Edmonton. I have arranged many pub crawls myself in the past and generally know how they go. The cost was to be $1500 for about 6 hours (8-2am) with pick up in Edmonton and a drop off just outside city limits to Beaumont. Our lineup was MKT, The Cabin, On the Rocks, Cookhouse Saloon, Beercade. I had thought that Morgan himself was going to be there as he had arranged it all but alas no. Generally when I arrange pub crawls as I am the point of contact I am at each bar to make sure everything goes well. We went to MKT at 6pm and the manager said he had never heard of Baseline limos, Morgan assured us that he had booked with a hostess a week before. So things were off to a rocky start. We crossed the street to Cookhouse Saloon and although it was early they let us in, they also had no knowledge of us going there but were good to deal with. We were supposed to be picked up at 8pm, at 7:45 the driver called me telling me the bus would not start. He said they would send a stretch SUV limo. I understood but it did not fit the 30people we had. It could take about 20. Morgan agreed after some negotiating to charge us $1000. By the time the limo got the first 20 to the Cabin and back it was an hour and we then got the second set of us to join the first. As there was no "host" for the pubcrawl to communicate with the bars they didn't really know we were coming. The next bar was On the Rocks, again we sent the first amount there and with no host again there was confusion at the bar, they charged cover and things did not go smoothly. We then headed to Beercade and were able to get in with a little line wait and no cover (which with 30 people is what you expect). The driver was very friendly but I felt that the whole event was disorganized. He did not stay onsite or close to the area so when it was time to go to the next club it took him a while to get back. Morgan would only take cash or e transfer for payment they do not accept credit card. Overall it felt like a backwoods service and not something professional or organized. We still made the best of it and had a good time but after 2 months of planning for out twins 18th birthday and having people travel from all over the province to join it was not a smooth operation. Thanks for trying to make it work Morgan but I would recommend a more reliable Party bus service and if you are getting someone to plan the pub crawl make sure they are going to actually be able to come make sure it goes well.

I had no issues calling or texting Baseline, they were very easy to deal with, answering the phone every time (which I learned alot of companies do not). Very polite and patient, as I had quite a few questions (never booked a party bus before). Ray, our driver, called 2 hours before our pick up to double check everything with us. He showed up 10 minutes early (good start); then went over what he thought would be a good plan to get us to Beercade and back. He made sure we were ok with his drive plan. I thought this was very thoughtful (although, we are in a party bus, so I told said "you're the driver! Where ever you would like to drive :)") He was fantastic! Anytime we needed a washroom break he found one very quickly. He even pulled over to help us hook up the blue tooth when we started, as we could not figure it out. Before I booked with them, I did read the reviews on here and Google, so I was sceptical. However, after they were so great on the phone, and gave me the best price by far; I had to give them a try. I sure am glad I did!!!! We had such a great time, in a fantastic bus (with a pole and 3 drink stations), with a great driver, that we will for sure use them again!
