I had rented a "compact car" but the only one available for me was a Hyundai Sonata. It worked out perfectly because I ended up needing the extra space. I kept the car an extra day, but there were no issues with the rental, even though I didn't bother calling to let them know....I thought that they would probably figure it out. They just extended it for one day when I returned the car, and it was totally a hassle-free, and painless experience. I have to say, this is probably the best rental car experience I've ever had - as far as straight-forward and no-nonsense pricing...I plan to use them in the future, and I will refer my friends/relatives to this particular location, too.

Jobo met us at our hotel at 8 o'clock sharp and from there we spent the entire day seeing the wonders of the nearby mountains. We saw more in one day than I could have managed in three days, all without being rushed at all. It pays to have someone who is intimately familiar with the area as your guide. Although the information on the signage was more than sufficient, Jobo provided additional color regarding each of the stops. Jobo was very friendly, courteous, and it was an absolute pleasure to be in his company. The vehicle was very clean, stocked with ample water, and very well-maintained. I highly recommend ABest Transport and Tour Services Inc, and their "rider driven" philosophy, which Jobo exemplified. Frustrated, we get a ride from a family friend and get to the discount car rental. It's about 25 minutes away from the airport. The man in a suit says they have no car left, not apologetic at all. Instead they will shuttle us to a competitor who has some cars left. We complain about the shuttle taking too long and them having no cars despite our reservation. No apologies at all, they say reservations do not guarantee cars and the shuttle was on it's way. Almost argued with us that there is nothing wrong with what they've done. This was our first impression of Alberta, glad to say that this was the only terrible experience we've had in Alberta. Do yourself a favor and spend more to avoid this inconvenience on your trip.

I have two major problems with renting from this location. First, they are the only car rental…read morelocation in North America that I receive an entire handful of keys, fobs and other plastic objects when renting. The "keys" are much too big to be put in a pants pocket, too big to be carried in many jacket pockets, but do bulge out when stuffed into a coat pocket or backpack. When asked why the rental gets up to three sets of keys, I have received at least three different versions of their policy on keys. Simply ridiculous. Secondly, I now cannot return the car after hours. I usually rent on weekends, and the location has cut back hours to only Saturday morning and Sunday afternoon, severely limiting when I can return the car. Not happy, and even though I am long time customer and club member, not sure I will ever go back.
