And have I mentioned, I had a *great price* on the rental vehicle - there was a sale going on for the rental cars last weekend. Overall, I was pleased with my car. I had rented a "compact car" but the only one available for me was a Hyundai Sonata. It worked out perfectly because I ended up needing the extra space. I kept the car an extra day, but there were no issues with the rental, even though I didn't bother calling to let them know....I thought that they would probably figure it out. They just extended it for one day when I returned the car, and it was totally a hassle-free, and painless experience. I have to say, this is probably the best rental car experience I've ever had - as far as straight-forward and no-nonsense pricing...I plan to use them in the future, and I will refer my friends/relatives to this particular location, too.

The manager at this location, was probably the rudest person in a rental location I have ever met. They completely screwed up my rental, and I was travelling the next day. I ended up not being able to take the SUV, because it did not have the snow tires I was ensured it would have. I ended up having to make a last minute flight. Which was 3 times the cost and I was late for my arrival. They also took out the amount on my Credit card before we had even looked at the car! I then asked them to refund me since I could no longer take the vehicle and I had to wait a month before the transaction came through. Jobo met us at our hotel at 8 o'clock sharp and from there we spent the entire day seeing the wonders of the nearby mountains. We saw more in one day than I could have managed in three days, all without being rushed at all. It pays to have someone who is intimately familiar with the area as your guide. Although the information on the signage was more than sufficient, Jobo provided additional color regarding each of the stops. Jobo was very friendly, courteous, and it was an absolute pleasure to be in his company. The vehicle was very clean, stocked with ample water, and very well-maintained. I highly recommend ABest Transport and Tour Services Inc, and their "rider driven" philosophy, which Jobo exemplified. The next time that we are on holiday in Calgary, we know who we will contact for a tour.

When I had an issue with this vehicle the next day, caused by myself and not Enterprise, they went out of their way to be accommodating and helpful even though I had caused the problem. I apologize for not having the name of the woman in charge who was superb, helpful and highly competent. They have ruined the rest of our trip as a result. They lie. They don't give a damn and have the worst customer service I've ever experienced. I'm rating them one star because it won't let me rate none. Worst company ever.

Frustrated, we get a ride from a family friend and get to the discount car rental. It's about 25 minutes away from the airport. The man in a suit says they have no car left, not apologetic at all. Instead they will shuttle us to a competitor who has some cars left. We complain about the shuttle taking too long and them having no cars despite our reservation. No apologies at all, they say reservations do not guarantee cars and the shuttle was on it's way. Almost argued with us that there is nothing wrong with what they've done. This was our first impression of Alberta, glad to say that this was the only terrible experience we've had in Alberta. Do yourself a favor and spend more to avoid this inconvenience on your trip.

I booked the "Mystery Car" special and was a bit apprehensive that I would get something weird, like a Hummer, or something with so many bells and whistles that I would have no idea how to operate it (I've got a basic 2010 Forester back home). The man at the service counter was very kind and very helpful. He explained all the paperwork to me. Then he came out and went over the operation of the vehicle with me - including showing me how to connect my phone to turn it into a GPS. I got a Toyota Camry that rides like a dream, got lots of pep to merge me onto the highway and is whisper quiet. I'm thrilled. I would recommend this place to anyone.

(Especially if the drop off location is different) You end up getting over charged. A lot of discrepancies in the amount has been occurred in the past. Don't be fooled with the great rates given at the start. I called them back as I am the continuing client of AVIS to dispute the charge with the gas bill, rental jacket from the other drop off location, and he returned to me by saying it's not his obligation, "you asked for cheaper rate of vehicle and you are the one doing this for $100.00". The guy does not make any sense and just wants to fight back with you. You'll know what I'm talking about when you start dealing with the guy and try to look for the best rate for the best economy type of vehicle. Short and Filipino type of race. Very disappointed in their service and very unprofessional. Should be under new ownership.

The parkade was also gated and looked shut. So we circled around the block several times trying to find where we could drop off the car. I guessed it did not help that we got the car from another location so we did not have any instructions or map on where to drop the car off. In the end, we managed to enter the parkade by fluke. We drove further up the ramp to check the parkade information, and the gate opened as the car neared it. That would have been extremely helpful if it was mentioned anywhere the gate would open even at night. Once we got in, it was relatively to park the car and drop off the key and rental sheet in the box. Take pictures of the car before leaving in case of dispute on the car condition.

I have two major problems with renting from this location. First, they are the only car rental…read morelocation in North America that I receive an entire handful of keys, fobs and other plastic objects when renting. The "keys" are much too big to be put in a pants pocket, too big to be carried in many jacket pockets, but do bulge out when stuffed into a coat pocket or backpack. When asked why the rental gets up to three sets of keys, I have received at least three different versions of their policy on keys. Simply ridiculous. Secondly, I now cannot return the car after hours. I usually rent on weekends, and the location has cut back hours to only Saturday morning and Sunday afternoon, severely limiting when I can return the car. Not happy, and even though I am long time customer and club member, not sure I will ever go back.
