The front right tire on the rental car couldn't hold air and I had to drive to a gas station or tire shopt put air in it when I was driving it, every-time I used it. This was a hassle plus it was unsafe to drive a car with a terrible front tire. The vehicle was past due for an oil change and that dashboard light was on often. The driver side window didn't open always and was uncooperative on many occasions. I called a few times to discuss swapping the car out but was on hold for about 20 minutes and didn't have time to wait any longer. They are very hard to get a hold of which is bad customer service. Ubered from hotel to location at 8:50 am - to meet agent at 9. 3 people in lunar for the same thing. I'm sorry, Enterprise overbooked and there are no cars available! Okay, with AI and tons of inventory management, you could not have updated your website to reflect this? $40 in Uber fees, no solution whatsoever. First of all we were told they were going to pick us up at 1000 then 200 then 4. They never did pick us up. They never had a rental for us! Ruined half of our week spent so much money on Ubers. Had rented a car from Alamo in St Louis Airport and noticed some issues but were already in St.Robert. Contacted Alamo and they offer to swap the vehicle and they set up the exchange at this Enterprise office. Matt contacted me shortly after and said it was Easter weekend they were cleaned out. I explained I had a 15 hour drive back to the east coast the next day and needed an exchange. He called me back an hour later saying he had a vehicle for me!! I rented a vehicle for a trip to Louisiana. The agent showed me the Rav 4 I would be getting. When I went to pick it up a week later, I was told it was "out for oil change and not available." So they gave me a Jeep. I drove just 5 miles out of Branson and the steering was so wobbly I stopped and called. They said they had nothing to give me. I responded that I was willing to wait for the Rav 4 to come back from having the oil changed. The agent said, oh, it's not out for oil change, we rented it about 15 minutes before you arrived. Then the lady said they never promise a specific car in advance. I explained the agent had pointed specifically to the Rav 4 and said that was what I would be getting. She responded with, Oh, he's not employed here anymore. So her solution? She suggested I "check with Enterprise places along my trip route and maybe someone would trade with me." As if that would happen. So I wrestled with the shoddy vehicle for an entire week, navigator only worked part of the time. I had to stop and get a plug-in Garmin. I'd paid for a second driver, but she couldn't handle the car at all. Enterprise Branson made my trip stressful and I felt quite let down by the whole experience. I've rented from Enterprise many times, never at this location, and had good experiences each time. My suggestion? Find someplace else to rent instead of Enterprise Branson. read more

I did not actually end up getting my rental because I do not have a credit or debit card with my name they said for someone else to use their card that the reservation would have to be changed in their name which is no big deal I can understand that. However my issue was that the insurance company books me the rental Enterprise had reached out to me and told me to pick the car up at 1:00 and then on the way to drop my car off to be fixed I was called by a different person being told they had no cars and I could pick one up the next day and again they said I would have to wait until after 3:00 to pick the car up the next day so I was a little frustrated because I was told one thing and then told another thing and then had to wait some more I also waited on hold between six different phone calls for a total of 49 minutes and did not get much courtesy or friendliness from the workers read more

Then, I received a phone call from a man at the location, telling me that they had NO available cars. He went on to explain that they were sold out for local college being on spring break and would not have any vehicles available until three days later. Next step; try an enterprise agency in Springfield MO. Same EXACT thing happened. No cars vehicles at all... can we change your reservation to Friday? I asked how they could be confirming reservations with no cars and he said that they were begging their regional manager, Cole Spedale in Wichita to update their website, but that he would not. I will NEVER use enterprise again. I understand mistakes, but refusal to operate honestly is unforgivable. Moral of the story. I used my corporate code and because of this, I was subject to a series of harassing questions from what appeared to be the branch manager. Afterward, they tried to give me a car whose license plates had expired. After I objected, they tried to convince me that it wasn't a big deal and "even though it was cause to be pulled over, I probably wouldn't be given a ticket." I visited Branson Missouri and needed to rent a car. I always use Enterprise when I'm at home in California. I rented the car online with my debit card as I always do. It gives you the option to choose debit on the website. I wasted my time and someone else's by getting a ride to Enterprise in Branson. My ride left me because they had other errands. I pull out my debit card and they tell me since I'm from out of state it has to be a major credit card . Now I'm sitting out here stuck with NO CAR and NO RIDE. I got a crew cab new dodge pickup for the weekend for $9.99 a day. Such a deal. Enterprise has the best rental deals of any car rental place I know of. We rent about 15 times a year and use them whenever we can. They drive to you and pick you up and bring you back to the rental place, you sign the papers and off you go. When you return the car, they drive you to your destination and drop you off. Tips. Always ask for the smallest car and they never have it when you get there so they give you a bigger car at the rate for the smaller car. Very often you can rent a car on weekends for $9.99. always check for this option This pick up and drop off is no big deal if you are flying into an airport (where else would fly into) and will be flying out of the airport BUT think!!! If you use the hotel shuttle to pick you up at the airport and to drop you off, you can rent for 2 less days. Even better, if you are staying for a while you might rent for 2 or 3 times and have the rental place picking you up and dropping you off and save even more. The founder of Enterprise was a fighter pilot in WW2 who flew off of the USS Enterprise ( a member of the greatest generation) and is one of the reasons you are not speaking Japanese today. I rarely spend the time to detail out experiences here on yelp unless they are exceeding bad or exceedingly good. This situation is bad and definitely one with questionable ethics by a major company, if not outright illegal collection and use of data. Let me begin with the customer service problems. Simply, needed a last minute rental. Reserved so their system got confirmation email although I DID NOT sign into any accounts (important later). I get confirmation email and arrived 10 minutes early to pick up the car. First, they walked around and didn't acknowledge I was there for 15 minutes. When someone actually decides to help, I am advised that "Enterprise attempted to call you to let you know that they didn't have availability". Ok, makes sense, but they didn't call, email, text or reach out to me in any way. This is where questionable data usage comes into play. Again, I never signed into any account, filled out all the contact information correctly (verified this with my confirmation email) so I advised that they didn't try to contact me. He advised me of the phone number used. It was a number I had 3 years ago. So this company decides to not use the phone number or email I provided them, and have confirmation that they received this, and instead data scrapes 3 year old records to associate me with an old phone number. I am used to this type of behavior with shady companies, I just didn't know until today Enterprise was a shady company. So buyer beware, at the best case terrible customer service, worst case privacy violating business practices. read more

I made reservations on July 21 and was assigned Confirmation No. 1SF7KP. I called the Branson MO Enterprise location on August 17 (date of reservation) at about 9:15 AM and was told by Glen they would pick us up at 10:30 AM --- kind of late I thought. He called me at about 10:45 AM and said it would be 15 minutes before he would arrive. He did so at 11:00 AM, with another customer in the car. Upon arrival at the office he walked off with the guy and just left us standing at the car. He took care of him first and we ended up served by an employee named Sam. She looked out in the lot and offered us a pickup truck which I quickly declined. We ended up with a Dodge Charger which we rode in to the office. Why the the hell would I want to drive a pickup truck on vacation? The car was not clean and even had mud in the trunk. The windows had not been cleaned in a long time. Very poor service on the part of this Enterprise location. The treatment we received here is not of the caliber that we have experienced at many other Enterprise locations we have used over the past three years. Someone at Enterprise headquarters needs to change the status quo of this location. read more

I recently had an accident and my insurance was covering my rental. In course of the conversation the agent added more insurance which I did not need since my insurance company covered any issues. They rushed to get the car ready and it was decently clean, however you could see streaks on windows. The next day at one point driving into sun I could not see, and almost had another accident. When I returned the car I learned they had charged my card twice for the extra insurance and needed it one more time. I told them I had not agreed to this and they said there was nothing they could do since I signed contract. This was even explaining I have been unemployed for 8 months and did not have the extra cash for additional insurance. They were extremely unfriendly and uncaring. If I need a car again, I won't choose Enterprise.... read more

Very small enterprise. Not a lot of cars to choose from. Had an okay experience. When I returned the car it needed about a gallon of gas to get it back to full. They charged me for five gallons. I guess that's my mistake for not bringing it back all the way full. Had a very small parking lot, I did not know where to return the car everything was double parked. It was a mess. read more

I booked the car for pickup at 12pm. I arrived at the office about 1230pm and the car still needed to be cleaned. So the lady at the desk offered a Chevy and I accepted it. It was dirty inside and out too. No big deal. I left the lot and noticed that the gas wasn't full, so I called the office and they said they just want it back with the same amount as you left. It was just over half a tank. I didn't notice on the paperwork that she had me initial, that she said it had three quarters of a tank of gas. I drove the car for one day,100 miles. I didn't add gas to the car, because I didn't drive it much and thought it was 3 or 4 gallons, at $4 a gallon no big deal. I thought $15. THEY CHARGED $40 for gas. This is a lousy way to do business. After extremely long 'hold' times we were told no cars available. Made arrangement for 6-25; pick -up originally scheduled for 9:30 AM..Several phone calls saying 'later' as had only 2 persons working (Saturday morning), then 1 person had to pick up 2 other customers before we could get our car. Asked for an economy car, they offered a 150 pick-up, ended up with chevy malibu at $41.00 PER DAY. (11.00 AM) turned in @ ENTERPRISE @10.00 Sunday morning, no workers present & 1 parking space left @ location. Poor customer relations, corporate needs to get active or they will be loosing customers. read more

My husband works for a large company and they use enterprise a LOT. Basically every month he is driving an enterprise car to or from work (usually a 5 or 6 hour drive). He has used this particular Enterprise location about 6 times. The first time we get there and they had given his car to someone else and wanted him to drive a dually truck, nope! So we waited about an hour for a car to surface. Another time he was mailed a ticket for toll charges that he did not do. There was no way he was even remotely in that toll area/state. We paid it and let his company take of the rest. This enterprise has horrible customer service. Will make you wait, EVERY time. And these cars are reserved WAY in advance.. Should not be a waiting game. But today takes the cake, my husband gets about an hour and half away from Branson into his drive to work.. The car dies (not sure why but possibly because it was a hybrid and not charged).. He called downtown Branson Enterprise and was told to wait for a tow truck and the tow truck would bring him all the way back to Branson so that they could get him in another car... Thank God for the tow truck driver that refused to drive all the way back to Branson and found my husband a car at a Springfield Enterprise.. Why couldn't Branson Downtown Enterprise customer service have done that? Why would they even send someone off in a hybrid that was not charged? so... Thank you Mr. Tow Truck Driver for having the nerve to say no to this Enterprise's ridiculous request and using common sense to help my husband get to work.. Job well done good sir.
