My office pre booked a car for me to collect at Belfast Airport with Enterprise rent a car. When I presented myself at their kiosk I was told that there was no car for me. Their system said that they were no longer able to rent to my company.
I asked why they didn't know.
I asked why no one at Enterprise had let me or my company know since my booking was made weeks ago, they didn't know.
I asked if I could book a car personally since it was 8am do I could not get my office to sort it and I had an appointment at 9am, they said that had no cars left.
Great American customer service then. I walked out into the Europcar rental kiosk and was on my way in 15 minutes.
Turns out that my company's corporate insurance certificate sent to Enterprise 3 weeks earlier had not been added to their system. Total screw up by Enterprise, absolutely zero customer service and a very dissatisfied ex customer.
I will never use Enterprise again, my company will seek a corporate deal with an alternative rental company.
