They will cancel your reservation without giving you the courtesy of a phone call, I had to deal with this for two days and cost me money. I had an absolutely terrible experience with enterprise. I rented a car from them in January and returned it later that same month. Two days after returning the car, I received an email from one of their managers confirming that the vehicle was checked in and everything looked great. Fast forward seven months to July, and I suddenly get a notification from my car insurance company about a claim for damages to the front bumper of the car I returned in January. How is this even possible? It's infuriating that they would wait seven months to make a false claim against me. The customer service was equally horrendous. Every time I called or visited the enterprise on Reisterstown Road (main street) to get some clarity, I was met with rude representatives who claimed that no supervisor or manager was available to speak with me. It felt like a complete free-for-all with no accountability whatsoever. I've attached a screenshot of the email I received in January, which clearly shows the car was returned in perfect condition. It's clear that this company is trying to pull a fast one, and I hope my insurance company takes action against their scammy behavior. This experience was enough for me to decide that I will never do business with this company again. I strongly advise others to stay away from enterprise--their unethical practices and poor customer service are simply not worth the risk. read more

While the two male employees that assisted me were professional, the young lady that was a supervisor or manager called me early in the morning, upset that I made a car reservation at 8pm. It was almost as if she was trying to chastise me. She was very rude and unapologetic and sounded extremely stressed out as if it was impossible to do her work. I was unable to pick up a car at 9 a.m. She told me to be there by 5pm. I did so. She never once spoke to me. She showed no professionalism or home training whatsoever. Thing is, I had a family emergency. Imagine, being drained because you been up all night dealing with these family issues and you have no energy, nothing, just stress and worry about your family and you have to deal with someone at a car rental place speaking with such rudeness. It honestly felt like she was not happy with her job. I don't know what the situation was, but to see someone so miserable at their job, I didn't understand why she was working there. I would never recommend anyone to go to this branch at all. It was 6115 Reisterstown Rd location in December 2025. Do not go there. They do not know how to treat people. If you are thinking maybe I should contact them, I did a follow up and expressed the same sentiments. Someone was supposed to contact, which I presume it would've been that same lady manager, but nobody ever did. This is a company, that doesn't practice accountability. read more

Not surprising that the reviews for this location are consistently poor. I am a small business owner that works with large corporations. For Enterprise to have a relationship with insurance companies who send their customers to you should be valued. Maybe it's taken for granted what your corporate sales team has put in place??Instead,you tried to put me in a vehicle that reeked of marijuana! Totally unacceptable for you not to enforce a no smoking policy, allow your assets (vehicles) to be devalued, and to expect (potential) customers to accept such low standards...this is totally inconsistent with top tier companies ensuring a positive customer experience. Dismissive and rude! Enterprise should disenfranchise with this location! One staff member greeted me properly when I arrived. My insurer booked my reservation three days earlier. However, when I arrived I was told that I did not have a reservation for me. The rep told me that he had 30 reservations and no cars-for me. He never offered any alternative. Then, he walked away and started talking on the phine-while I was still at the desk. When I put my insurer on the phone with the rep he was equally dismissive towards her. Needless to say, my insurer reached out to the next Enterprise (not in the hood) that said they didn't have a car either, but they would have one for my by 1... and they did. This just proves that he could have accommodated me, but opted not to. Do not go here!!! Go to any other location! They treat us like this because we shop there regardless of horrific customer service. read more

Overall, this location should really work on customer service. When making a reservaton, over the phone, the representive should listen to what the client is saying and be sure to quote an accurate rate. I'm giving a 2 star rating because the customer service agent was able to keep the rate, quoted by the agent that took the reservation. I will add that, while I understand that the agents are dealing with all kinds of clientele, it's important to not be condescending to the client. read more

I'm a manager at the car dealership across the street from this Enterprise. We've had a long standing contract with them that we recently cancelled, but when my car engine blew up I decided to use them anyway as they were right across the street. From the beginning it was a bad experience, they gave me a car with a maintenance light on and a tire pressure light on. The transmission acted funny, and never shifted, on a automatic transmission. When I asked about the tire light, they said I should it take it somewhere to have it looked at! That's not my job on a rental car. Even though they had a long standing business relationship with my company, they were difficult to work with about documents. My car engine had blown up on my 2013 car, and I was in the middle of working with the manufacturer about getting the warranty to cover it. What should have taken a week or two, turned into more than a month. I let them know i was trying to pay for both my engine and cover the rental car, and that I also worked hectic hours running the dealership, but if they ever needed me I was right across the street. They took full advantage of this. Thomas, the rep, came to my work twice, threatening to tow the rental car over a few days balance, even though Id paid every time, and never once gave them a reason to think I wouldn't pay. He not only came into my work, but discussed things right in front of my employees, was rude and parked his car behind the rental car like i was going to make a run for it. He couldn't have been more unprofessional or ignorant! Not only that, the car desperately needed service, and when I asked them twice about it, they said not to worry about it! The original rep, Will, was helpful enough, but the other two reps were awful. The one barely looked the car over the first time I took it, and there was a huge scratch and paint peeling on the passenger door. He didn't mark it on the sheet, and thank god I noticed it and brought the car back in a few days later to have it noted, b/c I'm sure I would have been charged for that. I don't know who teaches these reps, but I've never met a more unprofessional place. If you have a customer whose company is right across the street, and whose done business with you for years, and who sends you customers all the time, the least you can do is be professional. I didn't expect a break on costs, I always paid, even if it was a couple days late. To go into someones work and act that way over $100 dollars is not only absurd, but ignorant. They could have called my work line, asked me to step outside, whisper. But to just be so ignorant, state personal business, threaten, and act like I'm criminal stealing a rental car??????!!!!! THOMAS AND THIS BUSINESS would get negative stars if I could give them. read more

My experience was great. The agent, and I believe the only man holding down the fort was Dave. He was very helpful and had a great sense of humor, and his British accent is dreamy, if you're into that kind of thing. He was very thorough in his explanations without keeping us forever and remained professional despite the fact that my friend and I were starting a vacation and acting pretty goofy. I rented a car over the Christmas Holidays, when I rented the car I was told that I could bring it back if I did not need the entire time. Later that day I called to find out about my contract that was not in my email and again asked about dropping the car off. This time I was told that since the office was closed Sunday and Monday that I could not return my car until Tuesday, needless to say the car sat for two days and if I had returned it I would have been charged any way. Had I know that in the beginning I would have made other arrangements. They did not have signs posted in the store saying they would be closed for the Holiday. But at my usual rental place on Sissons Street they did have notes posted. Never going there again, and to top it off they would not take the car back because where I needed to be dropped off was out of their area. Which is only 10 minutes from where the office is. I made a reservation on line, and my confirmation letter said my rental would begin at 12 noon on Saturday. When I got to the Enterprise location a little after noon on Saturday, the branch manager said he had no cars for me, and that they in fact closed at noon on Saturday. He was startlingly rude and unhelpful, and made it appear that it was my fault for waiting until noon to get my car, even though that it is the time my rental was supposed to begin. read more
