Whoa this place is a little treasure trove of comics and games! Table top and board games could be found in the front, newer issues of comics lining the right wall with cardboard bins full of organized comics on the tables in the middle of the store. Towards the back was a space for table top and card games. My favorite little find was the unassuming black drawer filled with old console games. The staff, and older guy and a younger guy, were friendly and helpful. Over all, awesome stop -- pretty sure this is one of the only comic shops in the area. I ended up getting a Smurfette figurine while my husband chatted with the owner, I think. He graciously was giving my husband price estimates and guidelines even though my husband was thinking about selling his comics on Ebay. This guy really knew his stuff and had such a depth of comic history and information about various characters. He had also worked at the theater for 20 years, and my husband and him compared memories of the theater and we got to hear about secret, historical things in the theater as well. Really a great guy and making the store a wonderfully, helpful resource. It is guys like him that make small towns a special place to visit and the world a smaller, more friendly, warmer, better place.

Stopped in on a Saturday and were immediately greeted by (I assume) the owner. Although the collection of individual cards for sale wasn't huge (maybe I'm just a little spoiled living right outside the city), the store still had plenty of other goods to make the trip more than worth it. I'm not a big comic reader but the books attracted me as well as the modest selection of board games (ended up leaving with Cards Against Humanity and Fluxx, plan to return to buy Gloom.) The prices weren't the cheapest you could find, but for a ma and pa store they were very reasonable and on point. I'd rather pay the extra buck or two than go through Wal-Mart or another major chain. The atmosphere was also extremely relaxing- the temperature was perfect and there's a leather chair at the front of the store to plop down on if you need a moment to sit or to flip through a book before buying it. Not only that but the owner is extremely personable and friendly often offering advice and opinions on products - not in a pushy or desperate manner but in the "I take pride in my store and my customers and want to make sure you're satisfied" manner. Will definitely be back here in the future for more purchases and possibly for Friday Night Magic.

They do not support magic properly and only do backdrafts forcing the players to overpay for drafts and not providing prize support. When I went to play they had to move all of their boxes and junk to the side because this place is so disorganized.I highly suggest you drive a little further to go to a comic book store that actually cares about the player base and the store itself.

He is in my experience the true honest broker. He and his shop have treated me with dignity. If something wasn't to my expectation, without me having to go to bat, they fixed the problem and kept their end of the bargain. We'll get you refunded for the #10, and after that, would appreciate no further contact. We've got plenty of customers who aren't constantly complaining, and we'll stick with them. Good luck annoying your next victim." The first book was refunded after I had to go through the trouble and cost of re-packing it and driving to the post office, but when the second book arrived with flaws I chose to keep it just to avoid the hassle of dealing with the return and will re-sell it below what it cost me because I am HONEST and will be stating exactly what's wrong it which is what superworld should have done in the first place which is what I had requested. Everyone I have mentioned this to says they cannot believe a business-owner would write an e-mail like above to a customer, and that complaints and criticisms are a normal part of customer service, especially when the business fails to perform in good faith. Also, it has come out that I am not the only one who superworld has been haphazardly selling flawed books to. Apparently you are just supposed to accept what they send or go through the hassle of returning books instead of them checking their so-called Near-Mint books to make sure they aren't actually only Good or Fine condition. They refused to check books before selling them to me even though a couple of minutes doing so could have prevented my aggravation and frustration of being sold books with flaws that I specifically asked about. Not recommended, bad dealer.

I mostly purchase Dungeons & Dragons 5th edition books, as well as gaming miniatures and painting kits. The staff is very knowledgeable and helpful. If they don't have a product available on the shelves, they are very good about fulfilling customer requested special orders. They also runs in shop role-playing game sessions, and even Hero-Clix and Magic the Gathering games! And if you can't make it in for a D&D game, they hold several weekly online events each week.
