The majority of drs and nurses here do the bare minimum. I would tell Dr. Keitel about skin symptoms I was having related to allergies, and he would say "hmm interesting" and not even note it in my file and then tell me to go to a dermatologist who would tell me it was allergy related. I also asked a nurse that has been with the practice for years if there was anything I could do about my high IGE levels that were discovered on blood tests, and she said no. I googled the answer and yes, there are options for treating high IGE. I am now getting treatment through a different allergist. I asked the nurse practitioner if she could do a food allergy panel, and she said they didn't have a panel and then discovered that they do have a food allergy panel when she looked for it. To top it all off, I have a special needs family member who saw Dr. Keitel, and Dr. Keitel didn't even physically examine them! Truly sad. Now I go to Allergy and Asthma Care, and they have taken much better care of me. Overall, if you are looking for an allergy practice that is more useful than a google search, I wouldn't go to allergy partners. There are much more competent allergists in the area.

We saw Dr. Keitel and I felt he was knowledgeable and responsive. We had to wait in the exam room for 20 minutes for the allergy test results, but since the room was so kid-friendly, it really wasn't a big deal--he just played the whole time. The results and recommendations were clearly explained to us by the doctor. Thankfully, I don't expect to need to bring my son back, but if we needed to for any reason, I would definitely see Dr. Keitel again.

Being told, "projectile vomiting and lethargy is a loose term" and that your child may just have reflux when you have watched your child turn grey and almost limp in your arms is not a loose term. The doctor did not know I was medical. And I even called the nurses ahead of time to make sure bringing my child into this appointment was appropriate. The doctor charged me for a visit and said I will see you in 6 months but cannot give you anything or any info currently. Atleast just admit you aren't sure but let's see where we can go or what we can do. I was also told, "Well most kids don't die but you don't want yours to be the one". I came with a list of questions and zero were answered. And I do in fact know what lethargy and projectile vomiting entails. I asked for guidance regarding a food ladder as well and was told this cannot be given either.

He can't breathe, he is extremely sick from the antibiotics that they put him on over the weekend at the ER - and in horrible pain. We waited 3 days for our appointment, only to get there, sit in a room for 30 minutes, just to have the nurse come back in and tell us that we have to reschedule for another day because the doctor got pulled into another surgery. Why on earth are you scheduling office visits for a doctor that is on call or has a surgery day??? There was no other doctor in the office. We have schedules to work around too. I took off work, my husband took off work, my son has been out of school for 3 days waiting on today's appointment. These doctors obviously care about nothing, and assume their more important than the patients they are seeing. I am so completely upset by the horrible experience we had today - and will make sure anyone I know never goes here. Absolutely ridiculous way to run a business. We will be going to Children's - which is where I should have scheduled with in the first place. Lesson learned!!!!!

I love this place! I…read morehave had severe allergies all of my life. I've seen multiple doctors, and have gotten shots for years but they were shots that was like medication... not getting rid of the problem. I recently started going to Dr. Keitel's and he is so much better than any other allergy doctor I've ever gone to. He made a plan with me for my allergy shots and said that my allergies will be completely gone in 3-5 years. This is something I never thought was possible, to be allergy free. I'm so excited! Also he ordered some tests and found some other problems that I had, that had never been diagnosed even though I'd told other doctors the symptoms. I am very impressed with he, and all of the workers at his office. They are very friendly. Another thing I like about them is the convenience of getting in. They have two locations to choose from, one in Crestview Hills and the other one in Florence. They are also open late on Tuesdays (Until 7pm I believe) for those who need to come in late for shots. Also you don't need to have an appointment for a shot, you can just walk in. That's very convenient. The only thing I don't like is that you have to wait 20 minutes after each shot before you're able to leave. When I got shots at my old allergy doctors I was in and out. I completely understand it though. These shots are a lot stronger (building up an immunity to the allergy) so they want to make sure you have no reaction.) From now on, I'll just remember to bring a book for the wait, which I noticed a lot of other people did. I'd definitely recommend them to everyone with allergies.

My daughter had a very bad allergic reaction while at the office and was given an epi pen injection. After a 20 min wait she was allowed to drive home. No emergency contact call was given. She was not in any shape to drive home. I am disappointed I was not contacted. I called when I found out what happened I was told by the office manager I would receive a call back when she knew the detailed. After many calls and no reply I found out she was no longer at the office and my daughters medicine had been thrown out. I asked to speak to the manager and that's when I was told she was no longer at the office. I asked to speak to the doctor to find out why the medication was thrown away and we were not contacted I was told I'd have to pay another office visit to speak to the doctor. I then contacted corporate to let them know our medicine had been thrown away and no communication was given to us even though I was calling the office weekly. Corporate office assured me that was not the protocol for medication to be thrown away and customers to not be communicated with he told me he would get to the bottom of this and get back with me on what he could do. It took me three weeks and three phone For anyone at corporate to return my call. He told me I have no idea why my messages are not getting back to me but I will fix this. To date nothing has been fixed I'm not even sure the doctor knows what has happened to us. Multiple phone calls and zero communication. I'm sure a lot of this has to do with no office manager but customers should not be the one to take the fall for no communication or office management

That idea didn't work out lol, but still that shows how nice she is. Also, right when I turned 18 I stopped going to get my allergy shots because I was no longer under my mom's insurance and I didn't want to waste the money. When I got a better job with my own insurance, I decided to go back... and I went almost every week for about 2 years without them even running it through my insurance. I guess they felt bad for me, thinking I was poor or something since I didn't go for about a year, and they wrote it off instead of charging me. Again very nice. This made me stay there longer than I should have. What made me finally decide to leave, was that there were multiple incidents where I headed over there after work, and they were supposed to be open til five but instead closed like 15 minutes early if they had no appointments. For allergy shots you don't need appointments so I'd hurry there and get there like 10 minutes before they were supposed to be closed, yet they had closed early. This happened a good 10+ times over a period of 2 years, so when my mom started taking my little sister to a different allergy doctor, Dr. Keitel I decided to give him a try as well. I only wish i would have switched earlier! As it turns out the shots that I was getting from Dr. Kratz were only strong enough to treat it like a medicine. The shots I'm now getting from Dr. Keitel are way stronger and they're helping to build up an immunity which should help me completely outgrow my allergies within 3 years! This is big news for me since I have really severe allergies. Also my allergies have been so bad for so many years, that it caused me to have a deviated septum which has made me have chronic sinus infections. They have gotten really worse over the past year, and it also causes me to have really bad migraines. As nice as Maryanne & Dr. Kratz are I almost want to give them a 4 or so, but the truth is if I were getting the right treatment years ago I wouldn't have as many health problems as I do now, therefore all I can give them is a 2. One positive is that since I can compare my new doctor to them, it makes me appreciate just how good the new doctor is!
