No dumb deposit agreement. they are legit - super nice guy running the front desk, you sign paperwork, they check ID's, they look at what you want and answer all questions, and let you know the prices for the type of tattoo size! super amazing decent prices and you pay in the front before the tattooing begins. The tattoo artist "Eli" that worked on my sister and I was patient and funny and kept it as an easy going environment. He did an amazing job on our tattoos! My wife and I came in for a couples tattoo special and when we noticed that our tattoos was very unaligned, the owner said it was our fault for not noticing sooner. Do not reccommend, we had to get it fixed else where that did much better, and much more friendly too. read more

Let me preface this by saying I was excited that the shop looked / smelled immaculate and the gentleman in the front was friendly. Inquired about the tattoo process and the person scheduled me for a consultation at 11:30am the next day I get to my consultation the next day and the gent was cordial again and said the artist would be there shortly. I suffer from social anxiety and I tend to fidget around people, I try not to but it's difficult. Any how, I'm waiting. The reception man looks at me occasionally to ensure me the artist is coming. Fast forward 40 mins and I inquire if the artist was coming. The man turns irate, hostile and bereft of kindness, his vocal timbre harshness and his eyes narrow. He says, "you've already asked 3 times (mind you, I have not inquired since getting there) he's coming or you can just leave, you're not an appointment just a consult." I ask why he's being hostile and he repeats himself, your a consultation not an appointment you can just leave. I say thank you and I leave. I was excited about the prospect of a tattoo shop that actually operates like a business with schedules and social decorum. I suppose I was wrong about my first impression of this place. read more

went for a lip piercing, the lady pierced it at a wrong angle and THEN if it couldn't get any better she couldn't take off the jewelry her co worker had to change. I came for (ear) piercings. I dropped by twice, and only one person was there each time. He was a tattoo artist, and kind, however, there was no pierced present both times. The third time I dropped by, the piercer said cartilage piercings are $10 more than a regular piercing because they're "very very different". I've had my cartilage pierced numerous times and they use the same sterilized needle as they would a regular ear piercing. White buffalo charges $10 less for a cartilage piercing so I ended up going there instead. read more

Flat out would not recommend; bad experience. I'm writing this review so other people don't have to go through what I went through to get this piercing. I went to go get my septum pierced and looked at the reviews this place had and thought it would be great. When I got to the place (I had made an appointment) they had me waiting 30 minutes past my appointment time. The place where they pierce is just at their desk, so in front of the whole shop full of customers, other artists, and noisy smaller kids. There were random needles laying out on their work area. When it was time for the piercing, I was trying to ask questions (about how he does it and the type of jewelry, that sort of thing), but he seemed like he didn't care and was in a rush. He marked my nose with sharpie and had me tilt my head towards him while laying down. He explained that he pierced twice (to go around the "nosebone" - it was obvious this guy didn't know what he was doing; he also didn't use a clamp). The piercing itself was very painful, I don't think he went through cartilage, but he took a very long time (I would say 7 minutes for the entire procedure) and went through a lower, fleshier part of my nose - it bled a lot. I got up and this guy was about to let me leave. But I looked in the mirror and the piercing is WAY crooked. Long story short, he had to pierce it again, but this time flipped it in my nose, so I didn't see it before I left. I was so frustrated at this point I just left. Now that it's been a couple of weeks and I see that the piercing is still a little bit crooked and is way too low. I'm going to get it re-pierced somewhere in Austin. read more
