From the moment we walked in, we were welcomed by a warm, inviting atmosphere and a beautifully designed space that made for the perfect date spot! We started with the Queso Fundido and Nachos con Carne, both of which were recommended to us--and absolutely did not disappoint! For our main course, we shared the Tacos de Asada and the Birria Lunch Special. Not only was the lunch special a great value, but it also came with some of the best beans I've had in a while-officially my new favorite! Everything we tried was rich in flavor, and I'm already looking forward to coming back to explore more of the menu. If our first visit is any indication, I know we won't be disappointed!

The most authentic flavor item in my lunch was the refried beans that look like poop at first sight. Rice was bland with cumin flavor and the mole was the most disappointing. Might as well have called them regular enchiladas, the flavor was basic taco mix with a tiny taste of mole. Just a thick cumin or comino paste. Enchiladas should be dripping with sauce in the inside. These were dry tortillas that were barely garnished with sauce on top. The chicken inside was very flavorul but dry. Then the 16 oz lemonade was 4$ and it was super sour ! I never leave reviews. But this was truly disappointing.

The atmosphere was welcoming, the décor was well done, and they were playing some great early-2000s music that added to the vibe. One thing that caught our attention right away was a sign advertising a new menu item: Chicken Pancit. Our waitress was friendly, attentive, and made us feel right at home. For our meal, my wife ordered the 5 street tacos, and I went with the birria flautas. Both dishes were outstanding and packed with flavor. Our 9-year-old daughter is usually not a fan of Mexican food, so she ordered the chicken pancit, which she was excited to see on the menu since she's enjoyed it at family gatherings before. To finish off the meal, we ordered a half order of the desert nachos, and they absolutely hit the spot. Overall, this was hands down the best restaurant we've eaten at during our trip to Texas so far. Great food, great service, and a fun atmosphere. We opted for a table for two. There was a few people in the restaurant, which is always a good sign. We got there closer to 11 o'clock although we want a breakfast tacos we just couldn't get there earlier. The one drawback is that they charge you one dollar per taco extra if you order a breakfast taco after breakfast time. There's really no rhyme or reason to do this. We started out the meal with chips and salsa. The only one problem with that was the amount of salt in the salsa almost inedible. We opted for three tacos each. I had a mix of chorizo and potato., bean and cheese, bacon, and beans . All breakfast tacos were served on flour tortillas, which were slightly more puffy than the average. We also ordered one Carne guisada taco. All in all the tacos were good. Probably not a place we would rush back to. All in price was 54.00 for 6 tacos , chips and salsa.
