I think the initial consultation was at least 30-40 minutes long. She documented everything and had good memory. From that she tailored the treatment depending on the feedback I give her. Any time I had discomfort she would make sure to take care of the issue immediately. I have this strange reaction where I almost faint sometimes after I mix sharp pain and heat because of the ambient temperature. So she would make sure to set the temperature lower so that the room would be cool enough to avoid that reaction. Also in the beginning she had me lay on the bed to put the needles, but I would have pretty bad neck pain because of the position so I asked if I could do it sitting down. I don't think she ever had a patient do this before, but without hesitation she made it work. She'd put the needles in and hook up the electric machine (don't worry you won't die, it's just a faint pulsing sensation). After everything was hooked up she put an old fashioned ringer next to my hand just in case I needed to get her attention and put on some soothing chinese music. I've used the ringer several times and she'd come quick to fix whatever was bothering me. She also gave me massages each time in the area she was prepping which was my neck and temporal area.
