The massage was great, but the customer experience was odd... we were rushed immediately back and…read moresurprised to see the receptionist was also the masseuse. The masseuse left her phone on the table so it kept buzzing during the massage. She had to run out a few times (I'm assuming to do receptionist duties). It was also odd that she changed the price mid massage and asked for more money. Off putting from a customer experience, but the actual massage felt good!

Called ahead for a foot massage and my therapist was ready upon arrival. Parking was plentiful in…read morethe private strip mall lot. I loved how there was a door separating the lobby vs the individual rooms. The added bonus was an additional door separating the hall and each massage room. The foot massage was situated in a semi-private room and started off with foot bath while the strong therapist did a shoulder and neck massage. The foot massage was strong as requested and my therapist wore disposable gloves hitting numerous pressure points. I may have dozed off during the service! The service ended off with a few minutes of hot stones before wiping down my feet and ending the service. $55/hour cash foot massage + $10 recommended tip.

I never usually get a guy and tend to go to the females for massage, but I said let's just give it a try. There was more kneading on the back massage. It didn't feel good, not because of the pressure but because it truly didn't feel like I got a massage after that, I felt like I've had better massages at other places. It seemed like I got a pressure point and basically staying at the same pressure point for 2 minutes at a time and I'm like hello where is the back rub part... My partner got hot stone on his back but I didn't. I also didn't get the best foot rub. If anything I'm going to get another massage somewhere else later today. I feel like their reviews didn't live up to their expectations. We tipped $20 each person but really I don't think it was all that great.

I am writing this review specifically to warn other women, because what I experienced at Universal…read moreDay Spa & Massage was extremely inappropriate, unsettling, and unsafe. I came in yesterday around 2:30 PM for a scheduled massage. The business appeared normal at first -- I checked in with an Asian woman at the front desk, filled out the pressure/preferences form, and was taken back to the massage room. The massage began with the same woman who checked me in. Everything seemed typical for the first few minutes. However, about 15 minutes into the session, the woman abruptly left the room without warning. While I was undressed on the massage table, an unknown adult male entered the room and took over the massage. I want to be very clear: I was never told this would happen and I never gave consent for a man to enter the room or perform the massage. I was face down on the table and had no idea who had walked in. I did not even see him until later when I was turned over. The man did not appear to be a licensed massage therapist. He was wearing business attire -- dress slacks, a button-down shirt, and brown dress shoes -- not professional massage clothing. He also wore strong cologne. The massage itself did not match what I requested (I asked for deep tissue) and instead felt like inappropriate rubbing/caressing rather than therapeutic massage work. When I turned over, I was shocked to realize I was completely exposed while this man stood over me fully dressed. I felt extremely uncomfortable and confused, but also scared to abruptly leave in the moment. At the end of the session, while I was still naked on the table, the man asked if I wanted to go next door for a drink. This was completely unacceptable and inappropriate behavior in any professional setting. What made the situation even worse is that after the massage ended, I waited inside because I did not feel safe leaving. When I finally walked out, the man was still outside in the parking lot near his vehicle, watching and smiling. He appeared to leave in an older blue Corvette, which made the entire situation feel even more disturbing, like he may not even be a legitimate employee there. This experience felt predatory and violating. No woman should ever have a male enter her massage session without explicit consent, and no client should ever be solicited or made to feel unsafe afterward. I strongly urge other women to avoid this business.
