I was walking past here when I had just recently moved down the street and saw a front loader washing machine for $340 And my washing machine hadn't made the move due to my cat having one of his pixie chasing moments and totally breaking the lid and anything else plastic inside it. So back to my point, I decided that the cat would have a hard time breaking the lid of a front loader so went in and advised that I would be interested in the machine and what kind of deal he could do for me. The lovely gentleman inside instantly said that I could have it for $300 - and voila it was mine. It was even delivered for free and installed by the delivery guy! It works wonderfully well and I'm really happy with it. And my cat can't figure it out, which is a bonus. The only reason they didn't get 5 stars is because there is no facility to accept cards. We've had excellent service from Enmore Bizzare Bargains:) We bought a second hand fridge from them 5 years ago and it's still going strong today. We had to get it serviced twice and both times, the repairman came over promptly and fixed the issue quickly for a reasonable price. I had a nice enough experience buying a used refrigerator and washing machine here a year ago (for $500), but my opinion of this business has totally changed after trying to sell both appliances back to them. When I bought the appliances, the man who sold them to me told me he'd be happy to buy them when we moved out (in less than a year) and come pick them up from us. So a few weeks before we were moving out, we called to set up an appointment and find out how much he would be willing to pay for them. He said it was too early, and to call back a few days before we were leaving. This gave me a bad feeling from the start, but I was willing to give him the benefit of the doubt. We called a little less than a week before moving and set up a time for him to come over. I assumed he would be taking the appliances with him, so we'd cleared out the fridge and had everything ready to go. All he did was take pictures though, and say he'd call us back tomorrow after he talked to his "partner." Well, we didn't hear from him by early afternoon the next day, and we were moving out the following day, so we called him. We had to ring a number of times before finally getting ahold of him. He said he'd give us $80 for both the fridge and washer. We'd paid him $500 for the pair, and they were actually in better condition than when we bought them because we had removed a lot of black scuff marks and had both repaired. We knew he'd be selling them for at least $500 all over again, and all he would offer us is $80. I think at least twice that would be a fair offer. I felt completely ripped off, and as if he was taking advantage of our situation (since we were moving, he knew we'd have few options). He led us on, postponed looking at the appliances so we'd be in a bind, and offered an insulting price. Offering to pay us 15% of what we paid him (and he can likely resell them for all over again) seems awfully unfair. Don't be fooled by this guy's friendliness -- he's only after your money. read more

Bought a front loader washing machine and fridge for $550 last year. It came with a 6 month warranty, but when the washing machine broke and I explained my problems, they resisted helping and eventually replaced it with a far cheaper top loader. Contacted them today to ask if they would buy the items back (still in perfect condition) and they offered me $40 for the washing machine and $50 for the fridge. Pfft! I sold the washing machine for $170 two hours later on gumtree. I agree that they are just out to make money. read more

Bought a front loader washing machine there for $250. It came with a 6 month warranty, but when the door latch broke within a month we were told that the warranty only covered motors and electronics and that we must have broken it ourselves. (The only paperwork we were given was a receipt that said "with 6 months warranty" - nothing about any restrictions on that warranty.) I've had several telephone conversations with them with no luck; most recently I was told to just go find and buy a replacement door myself. read more

These guys are absolutely hopeless. They sold me a refurbished fridge that did not work, the temperature was room temperature and the basic cooling did not work. My food got spoiled and ruined. Even though it was under warranty, after much pleading they eventually agreed to replace it with a different fridge. The owner HASS has left the country so I was left dealing with two clowns NICK and TERRY in the shop who take no responsibility for anything and are completely unprofessional telling me "hopefully" this one should work. The second fridge now beeps at odd times of the morning waking me up to turn it off, these are the dodgiest repairs and no-one takes responsibility. They said "MAYBE" they can send someone out "at some time" and "eventually" a serviceman will call me. I am finding my own repairer now to fix this and expect some more unpleasantness when they will not want to reimburse me for the repair. DO NOT GO HERE, they are COMPLETELY DODGY AND UNPROFESSIONAL.
