No employees or other customers were wearing masks and there were no signs enforcing social distancing. The restrooms were moldy, sticky, and nasty. There were bugs and liquid all over the floor. The soap smelled nasty like McDonald's. The toilet paper was on the other side of the restroom, not by the toilet. Stay away unless you are trying to get COVID-19.

Both the interior and exterior of the store are always clean and well-kept, with the added bonus of low gas prices. There's a roller grill for hot dogs, but there were never any cooking at the times I stopped in. During the winter months, I'm often craving a hot cup of cocoa or cappuccino and it's a disappointment whenever the machine is out of order, which is often. Since Lakeland is a small town, most patrons that come in are regulars travelling to or from work and are on a first name basis with the staff, who are always cheerful. This was the cheapest we've seen since leaving Gatlinburg. We went inside to get something to eat and use the restrooms. The store is bright, clean, and has lots of good stuff. We went to the restrooms first. They were clean and had blow dryers - no paper towels. At the cafe, a young lady took our order for the pizza combo ($2.50) and hot dog combo ($1.50). She was working by herself and doing a good job at 5:40PM on 9/6/22. We had lots of choices at the beverage station. The only thing missing at the straws/napkins/condiments station was a fork. It had spoons, knives, napkins, straws, mustard, ketchup and mustard. Husband's meat lover pizza slice was good (bacon, pepperoni and sausage ) as was my hot dog. He got Sierra Mist and I got lemonade to drink. This was a good stop before the rest of the ride home (3 more hours).
