Again, this is not usual behavior for Quality but they used a "fill in" company as they could not get one of their techs out to do my job. Be careful about Sunday repairs, because the tech may not be from Quality and that could be why I had problems but my prior ratings with Quality, the company I have used in the past, was 4 STARS . Also they intervened on my behalf after hearing my saga and made sure the job was finally completed. So the tech arrived on the Sunday afternoon after promising to be there in the morning, I was desperate so I ok'd that - we were leaving town the next day for 2 weeks and I wanted the door springs replaced and the door operational before I left. I was quoted a price over $1200 for 2 springs, a guide roller wheel and the service charge. It was Sunday and I was desperate! The tech the presumably repaired the door and left. We came home 2 weeks later and the door wouldn't open, apparently the tech put the wrong springs on (without knowing it?) and also unable to give us a heads up that repair was temporary. I called and was told the tech would be there first thing the next morning. He came nearly 6 PM and did not have the proper springs so did not complete the repairs. He returned the next day with the proper springs and did the repair. Ultimately he also tried to sell me a new bar for the spring mounting and a new garage panel for $1000 or a whole door for a discounted rate of $4000. I advised Quality about this and they were very helpful in making sure the tech was out to my house with the proper springs. Next time, no Sunday repairs for me unless I personally know the tech who will be doing the work. My apologies to Quality if they feel slightly by my review but they did send that tech over .

I had some dents in my door that needed to be repaired. He was honest and said that he may not be able to repair them but would refund half if it was not acceptable. He attempted to repair them with a flat head screw driver, and the doors were actually worst than when started. That was not my issue though. When I attempted to call him back following work day, I told him that I wanted to replace the panels. He sounded irritated but he said it would be no problem. I called and texted him several times and my calls and text were ignore. He eventually responded saying that it would not be a problem he just needed time to order them. Well its been 3 weeks later and I've yet to get the order or even get a call back. Luckily I contacted another Garage Co that was very professional and order the parts the same day.

Set up a time that would work for us inside 24 hours of our call. Came to the house, sized it all up and - rather than stick us for a whole new door system - he let us know it would only take a new spring to have the system back up and running. What a relief! Eric told us his philosophy - he doesn't fix anything that doesn't need it and he charges everyone the same fair prices for his fine work. How can you want anything more than that? He was done in less than an hour (as he carries supples on his truck). The price was very fair and we were all super happy to see everything fixed so fast. Eric stopped before leaving to help us program a door opener and didn't watch the clock while he did, he was just happy to help out. We stopped him again to get plenty of his business cards so we can refer him to contractors and friends for anything they need. What a great guy - call him and see for yourself!
