Unfortunately, Jessica, the receptionist, was the complete opposite. She repeatedly ignored my phone calls to the point that I had to call from a different number just to get through. She also gave me conflicting and inaccurate information regarding insurance coverage, which delayed my care. I thought to give this office another chance to make up for my initial bad experience but after speaking with Jessica again today, she informed me that I would no longer be accepted as a patient because of the feedback I gave the office regarding her behavior toward patients. At that point, it became very clear that patient concerns are not handled professionally at this office. A front desk coordinator plays a role in patient care, communication, and access to treatment. Based on my experience, Jessica's conduct was dismissive, unprofessional, and directly contributed to delays in my care. Patients should not have to repeatedly chase callbacks, question whether they are receiving accurate insurance information, or feel punished for speaking honestly about their experience. This office deletes most of their bad google reviews so if this review happens to be deleted I will write it again. I do not recommend this dental office.

Dont come here unless you want scheduling issues and attitude when they get called out for it. No place of business should be scheduling appointments without speaking to the person who has the appointment, full stop no argument or attitude and to try and charge a late fee after is even more wild! The dental care was slightly better than her professionalism but not great considering I've never left a dentist appointment with a tooth having a jagged edge until now. I tried to tell him at the time to fix it and he tried but unfortunately there is still a notch on one of my molars and that was not there before. I've gotten a cavity filled before and my tooth was not jagged like this, now im stuck with it. I will not be coming back and do yourself a favor and keep scrolling for another dentist.

The front desk manager is very sweet and welcoming. Such a handsome guy, friendly and kind too. The x ray technician is a lovely lady as well. My dentist however, she has a special place in my heart. A bundle of joy. Dr. Yin always makes sure to talk me through everything. In the middle of procedures, she will give me updates on how much progress we're making. Sometimes she'll tell me I'm doing a good job and i get so happy like a child. I know it's silly but it's the little things that make the experience bearable. My last visit, i had a locked jaw. I wasn't aware this was a thing, that it could happened. It hurt alot so i panicked and freaked out. I'm genuinely not joking when i say this; I thought i was dying. She popped it back in place luckily. Immediately, I felt the warmth of relief. She was so kind to talk me through it, educated me that it happens sometimes. She even gave me a little massage! I almost cried through the whole ordeal. So many waves of emotions for just a simple filling appointment. Anyways, I really am grateful for the team here at tukwilas Sunrise dental. Dr. Dire also is extremely skilled at cosmetic dentistry... meaning that his work leaves you feeling confident because your appearance is maximized. For example, I've had problems with gum recession on my upper front teeth. It leaves a tiny channel between the edge of my gums and the main body of my tooth. Tony is expert at filling this ridge, leaving my front teeth looking normal in color and form. Separately, his hygienists are consummate professionals who are patient, highly informed, communicative, gentle and precise. Dr. Dire is also kind: he has an excellent rapport with his team, and it shows in how hard they work to make patients comfortable about the procedures they are doing for you and any anxieties you have about pain. Anthony himself is relaxed, open, knowledgeable, humorous... and gentle. He is skilled at minimizing discomfort. Finally, Dr. only does work that it truly necessary to achieve long- term health. When I first met him about 12 years ago, a prominent dental practice in Seattle had just studied my teeth and presented me with a "contract" describing 5 "initial" procedures costing some $21,000 (in 2019 dollars). The proposed work included crowns on several teeth. Recall that a crown involves emasculating your natural tooth and bonding an artificial tooth to the stump. Dr. Dire, by contrast, rejected that course. My teeth look great, he saved me a huge sum, a huge chunk of my time and plenty of anxiety. I met Dr. Dire through the woman I married. Pretty good deal!

When I moved to Renton I was on a search for a dental office that was close to home and had convenient hours. Dr. Im's Office is where I landed and am glad I did. The staff are very courteous and were very welcoming. The incentives for choosing this office are also a welcome reward. From Julie at the front desk answering my questions about my insurance coverage, to Inna who was really kind and made an uncomfortable X-ray session turn into an entertaining one, to the thorough clean that I got from Dr. Im.
