He examined and explained that what was going on appeared to be an autoimmune reaction and he ordered labs so he could treat the root cause and rule out any autoimmune conditions. He also prescribed me a topical steroid which took the blisters away quickly. I continue to be under Dr. Williams care to keep a watch of my body's autoimmune response. During our conversations he asked if I had any other symptoms and I explained that I have been feeling sluggish, fatigued, lack of energy, weak in my legs, brain fog for the past five years. Dr. Williams ran another series of labs to check my adrenal glands and thyroid function. Lab results revealed hypo thyroid. Dr. Williams prescribed me a low-dose prescription and also plant-based adrenal supplements to help increase my T3, cortisol levels and to improve my overall adrenal function. After three days, I begin to feel so much better I wanted to cry happy tears. I feel that Dr. Williams really listened to me and cared enough to investigate when past medical doctors didn't. I can't say for certain what caused it, but I didn't have these symptoms before my treatments, so it has been concerning. Given the cost, time, and number of appointments, I was very disappointed with my experience and expected much better results. About half way through, I knew I was feeling much more hydrated as I was fidgeting waiting for a chance to use the bathroom. She also checked some vital signs pre-IV, after the first 500mL's, and again at the conclusion-I was happy to see my heart rate come down after the second 500mL's was infused . Follow up care included staying out of the sun and drinking lots of water and wearing sunscreen ( things we should be doing anyway). 5 days later I'm writing this review and I'm happy to say my skin looks smoother and healthier. Things to know about the Collagen Facial : 1. It's a special machine that makes the difference. 2. You have to stay out of the sun for a few days or the treatment will not be as effective. 3. My primary concern was stiffness in my hands and neck from an auto accident, but I also knew about the beauty benefits of red light healing beds and wanted to give them a try. When I arrived, Alison walked me through the process and what to expect. Even though I was already sold, I learned a lot of great new information! Both she and Ari are so friendly and kind that you feel comfortable right away. There are four separate rooms, each with a red light bed in it--the privacy is important since it's best not to have any clothing on for maximum light exposure. It's also better to go in without makeup, lotions, or oils. I also don't wear contact lenses during the treatments although I've read that it's okay as long as your cover your eyes with the goggles. I also leave my ear piercings in. The sessions are 20 minutes and feel like a warm sunbath. You can listen to music through your earbuds if you want. Overall, it's really relaxing--Immediately after my first session, I felt clear, grounded, and energized. Over the next few days, I was shocked at what I noticed: deep sleep (I have insomnia), more energy, slightly better mobility (this one will take more time), and stronger digestion.
