I decided to go with this firm because they not only took their time explaining, (as I know nothing about this), they were not after the green. Seriously guys, this is a trustworthy family establishment, who cares more about getting what you need, than their bottom line. Lawyers who actually care about you... I didn't think that existed anymore. We are getting the whole family outfitted here now. If you want honest, helpful and just what you need (not what you don't) try them!! You won't be sorry.

The looks from the outside looked promising but very soon the honest behavior appeared. Is it my fault? I should have walked away, yes and no. As acting representation it is the Law Firms responsibility to perform 110% Clients should be their number one priority however time and time again "Money" was the focus. I had not received communication from my Attorney for quite sometime but calls and emails were coming in for money collection frequently. Things were submitted, movement went forward, minimal interaction to seem they cared but honestly I did not feel apart of a family. I would never recommend this Law Firm. Honesty and Truth is not here and I would highly recommend taking your case elsewhere. There is too much to write but just know the VA State Bar will be notified of the unethical and misconduct that I suffered one whole year. Improper representation, Improper evidence gathered/presented, evidence withheld, in house employmee repositioning while case was ongoing. My other attorney I used the same day for another incident, talked to my spouses attorney who agreed that my spouse would drop her protective order against me if I dropped my protective order against my spouse so that we can have an amicable divorce. This attorney walked over to Tori and I and stated this to us. So I dropped my protective order, believing my spouse had dropped hers. Within seconds, Tori was escorting me into the courtroom for a protective order trial against me, by my spouse. My spouses attorney had lied to my other attorney, and yes this other attorney has recently confirmed this to me. Tori should not have let me enter the courtroom. I didn't understand what was going on. Tori let my star witness come into the courtroom so she couldn't testify on my behalf. A two year protective order was placed on me. I was put out of my home made homeless with my son and 2 dogs. I'm still not divorced due to the noncompiance of my spouses attorney not responding to or delivering requested documents upon my attorneys request. Tori Zicker has destroyed my life, financially and emotionally. I fired her right after the trial. I questioned, on that day, if she truly is an attorney! I don't know if she is with Friedmans Law Firm now, But she was when I had hired her. If she isn't still at Friedmans Law Firm, beware if you come across her name at any other law firms. She's most incompetent and should have her license revolked. Having just realized what really happened that day, I am in the process of taking legal action against Tori Zicker for legal malpractice.

They're on the pricey side yet you sometimes have to pay for what you get. They aren't like tv and movie lawyers that do ALL the work for you. Sometimes you have to do some research to provide to them and that's ok. Remember that although they make you feel as if you're their main client, you aren't, lol. They will focus solely on you while working on your case, just remember they have other clients as well and it's helpful to them if you can provide as much intel as possible. It's a team effort and believe me, you WANT them as part of your team. I truly cannot say enough praises towards them. The entire team, from reception all the way to the top! I'm sure I have gotten on Martha's nerves several times though she's never let me know lol, because when I get stressed I ask a ton of questions and I start to ramble without letting her speak. She has been direct, firm, but NEVER rude. Guiding me in a direct yet calming way. Times when I'm an emotional wreck and times when I'm in a calmed spirit. Showing me that she truly has our best interest in heart and definitely not in this only for money. She fights for what's best and what's right. And OMG, she's a force to be reckoned with in the courtroom. Very impressive. You do not want to be on the opposite side of her! And again, she does this for the love of the law and what's right. Not the almighty dollar, from what I've observed on many occasions. Something I find admirable in today's society. This is a law firm built on integrity and it shows. Recently I needed to call her in a panic trying to protect my youngest son. I didn't know she was walking out the door for court, yet she still took my call and answered my question quickly then informed me she couldn't talk to me anymore because she needed to drive to court. Of course in my panicked mind I felt blown off and a massive bother to her (in that blinded moment of mine) but that couldn't be furthest from the truth. She didn't have to take the call at all. I'm saying this to say, thats the type of lawyer and person she is. Even if she has literally one minute, she will give that minute to you. I 100% recommend this mother and son legal team and firm for all of your legal needs.
