When we had hail damage, two years later, one of the…read morecontractors from another company inspected our roof and said that ours was one of the few elastomeric roofs he had seen that were done correctly. This made me feel great about A Plus exteriors. We needed our skylights replaced and a couple of holes patched in the roof coating after the hailstorm. We called A Plus to have this work done. They replaced two skylights. The one in the master bath leaked the first time it rained. They returned and did something to the seal. Then it dripped water from condensation when the outside temps dropped. They had replaced our skylights with single pane fixtures and tried to tell us that that is what we had before. We've lived here 10 years and never had dripping from condensation. The 2nd skylight had a leaf sticking through the seal to the inside of the house. Perhaps they were overwhelmed with work from the hail storms and hired extra workers but...it was Darrell who told us we had single pane skylights before. He also said he would have to order double pane and that it would take a couple of weeks to get them. In fact, they were installed the same day. We need our house painted but probably won't use them again.

Fake reviews, caused extensive damages, refusal to honor refund agreement…read more I hired this company based off of their Google reviews, which, after the job was done, I found were falsified by members of their family. There is absolutely no way this is a 5 star company and they have 0 reviews here on Yelp. This is an amateur operation that does no prep work, will leave your house in worse condition than you started with, and will not honor agreement to compensation. We originally signed a refund agreement in exchange for not leaving bad reviews, but as Andrew Arzabal reneged on that offer and instead chose to push this into a months-long insurance settlement, this review is now going live. There is paint everywhere. Appliances, stained into wood, splattered on every window, splotches on cabinets they were not meant to paint, paint in the wiring, hardware painted over. They did absolutely 0 prep work and ruined new light fixtures that cost $90 each. There is paint in the grout which now needs to be replaced by a tiler. Because of the horrific quality of service, I released Andrew from his responsibility in finishing the job by adding trim after a separate flooring job was done, so not only are they not compensating me for damages, they are also in breach of their original contract for labor that has already been paid for. I am now starting the process of taking their company to small claims court while the insurance company deliberates on their investigation. They've also been reported to the FTC and BBB.

There was little more than a wash, almost no pigment, and it could not be cleaned; bare wood began to appear less than three years after the house was built. Most paint jobs require a lot of preparation, including masking, disassembling cabinet doors to remove old paint in preparation for new paint, hanging barriers to prevent overspray, and so on. Saratoga spent three of the five days they were in my place just doing prep work. The crew returned with a water-resistance coat of paint for all my cabinets, reinstalled all the doors, and cleaned up behind themselves. It was a pleasure to work with Andy and the Saratoga team.

Not only were they the lowest bid out of three we looked at but I was impressed with their professionalism the minute I met them. They also have a network of equally capable people that do specialized work, as we had the very nice and perfectionist Marcus remove our wallpaper on a 25 year old house, and Joe came in to help paint the baseboards and trim so they could finish faster. Robert was spot on on his bid and time to do the job. We added additional work that gave it one more day on the job. I also would like to add how flexible they were, always available to you for any concern, and it was addressed politely and timely. What other positive things can I say? They always worked very well as a team, with others or just the two of them, cleaned up our home spic and span short of cleaning our windows!, and were just very pleasant to have in our home! Thank you!!

I was purchasing a…read morehome with a 23 year old tar and gravel flat roof in the North Valley with signs of leaks in multiple areas. I worked with 6 different roofers that all had excellent reviews to get multiple opinions and bids. Green Mountain was able to come out the fastest, got me a bid within 24 hours, and Zach patiently walked me through different options (TPO, Silicone, and repairs to the tar + gravel). We talked through the pros/cons of each material and the cost differences. From a cost perspective, Green Mountain came in down the middle of the bunch. From a thoughtfulness, responsiveness, timeliness, friendliness, and professionalism perspective, Green Mountain was at the very top. Green Mountain was extremely communicative throughout the job. He checked in afterwards. His team showed up when they said they would and left the property as clean as they found it. Because this was for a home I was purchasing, Green Mountain had to run around and coordinate with the seller, the seller's insurance agent, myself, and the seller's agent. He also had to schedule the job with only a couple of days notice, and complete it within 3 days so we could make our closing date. Green Mountain was able to get it all done without making compromises on quality. Once I got into the home and inspected the roof, I found some extremely minor areas of concern. Green Mountain came back out promptly to address them. I will definitely be working with Green Mountain again on other projects for the home.

I was called within the hour and my appointment was scheduled. Before the appointment, Jayson called ahead to tell me his name and what he would be driving so that I would know it was him. He showed up 15 minutes early. This is amazing considering most people show up late. He was kind, polite and courteous. Because my roof was over 20 years old, I assumed my roof would not be covered by my insurance and I would have to pay for the whole thing. He walked me through the steps of filing a claim with my insurance and even met with the adjuster to survey the roof and make sure all the damage and code violations were noted. They actually convinced them to cover the cost! All I had to pay was my deductible. The roofers were all friendly, fast and efficient. They took their time making sure all roofing debris and nails were picked up. I couldn't be happier and the roof looks great. I also got multiple calls from Jayson keeping me in the loop and making sure that I was satisfied with their work. Two thumbs up!
