The lady who took care of me was very well educated and asked me many questions to make sure she gave me the exact treatment I needed. The facials take place in a private and quiet space another floor up, and they play soothing music and there is natural lighting which makes the mood impossible to be anything besides relaxing. As the lady was giving me a facial she told me everything she was doing which I liked cuz it helped me have better knowledge of skin care and showed her knowledge too. Whenever I asked a question she was delighted to share with me. After the facial finished she was very passionate to ensure I was happy and to let her know in the near future how my skin is. She also gave me a small tutorial on future skin care and certain things I can do to maintain a glowing look. This spa sells a line of skin care products which I encourage anyone to invest in. They're pricey but WELL worth it and last a long time. They even gave me a bunch of samples to try out at home with directions, which was a great way to leave the spa. First of all, she's incredibly talented- she wants you to look fabulous but she will not sacrifice the health of your natural lash. I wanted very dramatic lashes- long and full but Mariia explained to me that my natural lashes were too weak and she was concerned that they would suffer damage. She promised that we could eventually build up to that level of drama if my lashes strengthened (which they eventually did!). Mariia keeps up to date with her training and certifications so she offers unique styles, such as Kim K and also...coloured lashes! I tried blue and purple and they both looked amazing. I thought coloured lashes sounded crazy (especially since I work in a very conservative office) but with her magical skills, Mariia blended in purple lashes in such a classy, subtle way. I constantly receive compliments on my lashes and it's so flattering because alot of people will even question if they are natural, since they don't look overly fake. I must admit, on special occasions, I ask for the Mega Volume and I definitely can't pass those off as my own but as mentioned further up, working up to having healthy lashes strong enough to be at this level was my goal! The whole lash application process can be very tedious, as you're lying down for over 1.5 hours but Mariia is such a sweet and fun person, you will enjoy the conversation as much as the end result. The experience involved all the typical trappings of a facial (creams, hot towels, steam, extractions, etc) and a truly delightful and unexpected back and foot massage. After the massage, Gordana recommended a number of products, but was not at all pushy about making a sale. I ended up purchasing two products all the same. This spa is small, but the attention to detail is there. It's a one-of-a-kind experience that's as zen as it is hydrating.
