I usually don't write reviews, but I felt compelled to write a review of my last visit to Energy Men's Spa in Chelsea. To be honest, I arrived at the spa with low expectations based on some "not so great" experiences at other "men's spas". When I entered, I was greeted by Alex, a tall, handsome young man. He was polite and professional. I immediately felt at ease. He led me to the massage room which was very clean and sanitary. The spa and the employees appear to follow all of the COVID-19 safety guidelines. The massage was amazing. He massaged my tired muscles and worked out all of the knots due to stress. Alex is a very skilled masseuse and he takes his job very seriously. He was attentive to my needs and he seemed to make every effort to ensure that I walked away satisfied. Not only did he give a great massage but we had a pleasant conversation which made the whole experience even more enjoyable. I had low expectations when I arrived but I couldn't have been more pleased with my entire experience. I'm booking another appointment with Alex today or for Friday(He told me that he only works on Tues and Fri) read more

Debated on writing this but I have to. My friend and I booked two appointments at 630pm and we were seen promptly however my experience was far different from his. Cordial masseuse but ZERO technique. From being doused in oil to the constant rubbing of my genitals. At several points the dude got on top on the bed to massage me but at one point he got on top of the table, one knee on each side of my head to rub my lower back and his crotch rubbed over my head over and over and over again. The left side of my body was rubbed more than my right and left feeling like my skin was rubbed for an hour instead of my muscles. I was offered a punch card and needless to say I did not take it. I'm never coming back. My friend got a full body deep tissue massage, nobody on top of his table, no inappropriate or unnecessary rubbing or touching, his masseuse lathered the oil in his hands and then into his body. We both our agreed these are not trained individuals so beware read more

I returned for a massage last evening without appointment, since I was unsure of my schedule/timing. But I was greeted by Ken (Japanese), who was himself available at that moment. He was very attentive to my specific needs, asking what level of pressure I preferred, as well as which areas needed the most attention. I told him I prefer medium-strong pressure for maximum effect... during the session he checked several times to ensure that pressure was just right, and not too strong. I also indicated that I needed concentration on upper back (to relieve tension) and legs (I walk a lot). He delivered on both counts, even finding and relieving the knots in my back. He was very thorough in his work, and did not stint on the time. He worked on me for the full 60 minutes. (Some masseurs in many spas deduct 5-10 minutes from the hour to allow client time to undress/dress.) Thank you, Ken. read more

I'll start off by saying this is my first time ever going to a Men's Spa. I walk passed this place everyday after work and finally got the courage to make an appointment. I was lucky enough to get Ken as my masseur. I told him it was my first time and he took initiative and made me comfortable. He saw I was nervous so he talked to me and got my nerves off my mind. I went for a body trim and a 30min massage. He eased my muscles and asked me what I liked. He took his time listening to my needs and adjusted his performance to what I wanted. I have very tense shoulders and he took his time undoing my knots there. I had a great experience and I'll definitely be back. If you're new to spas or not, I'd suggest Ken. His laugh is adorable too. read more

Came all the way from Connecticut to experience this! Loved our time here! The private rooms are so cozy and the staff is so attentive and friendly. My boyfriend and I got massages from Alex and Charlie and we both believe they are educated and well mannered Asians coz they speak fluent English!! Im so surprised how good their communication skills are especially with that guy Alex. Both of them is so attentive and friendly and provides excellent deep tissue massages. They even gave me a loyalty card with a 23 dollar per hour massage bonus (at the end) when you became a frequent guest. And the decor was very creative and stylish. Can't wait to return. read more

Love this place ! Did the 90 minute scrub and massage with Dragon and it was amazing. The table shower room was so relaxing and the massage room was really airy while cozy at the same time. Dragon while being super cute and friendly really made sure your comfortable throughout the entire session and offers a strong massage. Super hard worker and had a great experience here. His massage technique consists of a great combination of stretching and relaxing gliding . Will definitely return. read more

This place is in bad shape and not clean at all! The worst part is the massage itself. There was no pressure, no technique, and the massage therapist kept checking his phone throughout the session. I don't know why he is so so lazy.He would massage for a few minutes, stop, look at his phone, then continue again. It was extremely unprofessional and unhygienic! Overall, a terrible experience and definitely not worth it. read more

Was visiting New York ,I got my very first male massage by a yelp search. Energy men spa first came out and they took me frequently.Ivan was my masseur ,he's nice and good looking with strong hands. He asked me if I'd like a deep tissue or Swedish massage ,I chose the combination of both. After the amazing massage I added 30mins to have the table shower and body scrub season which made me totally relaxed ! I love NYC! read more

I am pianist,so I got a very bad shoulder and back. I have to get more than 2 massages a week so I can keep my body calm. I had a wonderful 90 minute massage with Dragon a couple of weeks ago. My experience with him was very professional - money or tip was never mentioned. I paid and tipped appropriately at the end as i was leaving. He was very friendly and easy going, nice conversation too. I really like the stretching he incorporates into the massage. I'd definitely see him again, maybe try the body scrub next time. read more

Worst massage ever. The masseur don't know how to massage, I was in pain the next day. My masseur asked me for more money in the middle of the massage session, he said he will give me "special service", at the end I gave him $50 tips and he said "that's it?" Then I asked him how much and he said $150 is the minimum. I gave him $150 and left. Will never return to this place. read more

Overall a great experience! The environment is relaxing, comfortable, and the staff is super friendly. The massage was superb with just the right amount of pressure. Just communicate with your massage therapist and tell them if you have a specific area where you need work focused on and they get the job done right. I recommend this spot and definitely will be coming back! read more

Today i got a Thai massage from Park. I feel very comfortable and relaxed. When massage finished, i felt my muscles softer and more flexible. The most I liked about his massage is his stretches and compressions, moreover, he's professional and skilled. I recommend you to go and try it. You'll definitely love it. read more
