I am not going to say something like "coming here cured my fear of the dentist!! " because that's impossible. What I can say is that the people here and Dr. K are some of the nicest people in the business. I've seen my fair share of dentists and one shining difference is that here they don't make you feel bad about your teeth. They tell you the issues and what you could do better but they also tell you all the things you are doing right. From a marketers perspective that is an A+ sale ; ). On top of that they also understood that I was afraid and did not dote on me or act condescendingly, and they didn't dismiss my fears, instead they treated me like a person with a real legitimate issue and offered me solutions as well as acknowledging the courage it took me to get there. It should also be noted that he ran over time due to the size of my cavities and said I would have to return to fix the last tooth. I expressed how waiting would kill me because of my anxiety and without hesitating he said he would do it right then. That meant a lot to me, especially since I probably seemed pretty hysterical. (He also offers to show you all sorts of stuff like cavities etc. which I think is great and proves transparency). The office is also very modern, not the normal bleak sad cubicles you see at other places. Lots of natural light! If you are afraid of the dentist and are afraid your dentist will dislike you or shun you for the act. Go here, because regardless of your anxiety level they will treat you like a person who is deserving of respect. : D.

I have always had a fear of dentist because of past experiences which were very painful. I researched top dentist in Maryland and I came across Dr. Kuzmak, Towson View Dental Care and decided to give them a call and make an appointment. I was very nervous about the visit because I had two broken teeth with only the roots left in my gums. Upon my arrival I was meant by a warm and welcoming staff. Dr. Kuzmack himself came out to the waiting area to greet me and to offer me a bottle of water. That definitely helped take the edge off. He explained everything to me before he began the procedure. I always brace myself for the initial needle stick and deep burning that follows from the Novocaine... However to my surprise Dr. Kuzmack pulls out a device that he uses in conjunction with the needles that massages your gums during injection which helped to alleviate any pain! I was totally taken back that I did not feel ANY pain the entire procedure. No pain from the needle or the root extraction. I was welcomed by the receptionist as soon as I walked in the door. Check-in was a breeze even though it was my first time there. I can't remember the hygienist name who cleaned my tooth, but she was super friendly and sweet. Then Dr Brandon Foster came in to check up on my teeth. BEST DENTIST EVER! He was extremely knowledgeable, easy to talk to, and patient. He explained to me all the questions I had about my sensitive teeth without making me feel dumb. Wow. Flexible, respectful, efficient, patient. Really impressed…read more I'm a new patient as of today, and I'm so impressed with Crossroads that I had to post here (something I rarely do). One of my fillings fell out a few days ago, and my former dentist doesn't fit my schedule anymore. Kayla at Crossroads got me right in. Hygienist Lataysha and Dr. Friend determined they would apply a buildup but wait on a crown til I'd seen a root-canal specialist. My thought was, why bother with the buildup if it might be removed for a root canal? I clearly surprised them by declining the work, but they respected my decision. Kayla actually called the specialist and booked the appointment for me. But when we learned it wouldn't be for several weeks, I asked if I could get right back in the chair and go forward with the buildup. Dr. Friend agreed and after a short wait (shorter than I deserved, lol) and a *really* efficient session in the hot seat, I was on my way home in much better shape than when I arrived. Talk about flexible and patient! They respected my wishes to explore the possibilities, then took great care of me without saying, "I told you so!" I will be back if they'll take me. :-)

Nice office with friendly staff, very responsive, the work I've had done has been good…read more BUT - every appointment I've made there has been changed at least once at the dentist's request. When you get there, they always seem not to be expecting you. Then once they get started, it seems they are rushing to do 5 things at once. Like how can I make the next appointment while your hands are still in my mouth, and the assistant is handing me the spit cup? Why don't you already know what I had done last time? I can tell you but not while there are 4 hands and all kinds of tools in my mouth, and someone handing me things. Slow down and understand that patients are not pros at this. We get dental work done once in a while and it's kind of difficult for us. We shouldn't be asked to multitask while under duress and while paying top dollar, just so you don't have to spend one extra minute with us. I'd cancel my next appointment but I bought a membership on the strength of the first visit (prompt response to a painful need) so I'm just stuck I guess. If you're ok with a bit of chaos and little roughness, she's very good. If not, go elsewhere.

I don't usually leave reviews, but I can't express enough gratitude for Dr. Andersen!…read more For nearly three weeks, I had severe pain in one of my back teeth along with what appeared to be a "lesion" on the inside of my gum. I saw two other dentists and was told that my tooth was fractured and needed to be extracted. I came to this office during their annual free extraction event expecting to lose the tooth. Dr. Andersen took the time to thoroughly evaluate the situation and wasn't convinced that extraction was the right answer. She determined that the "lesion" was actually a piece of bone protruding through the gum and removed it. Almost immediately, the pain that had been bothering me for weeks was gone. I am incredibly grateful not only because she found the real problem, but because she saved my tooth. Her knowledge, patience, and willingness to look deeper instead of rushing to remove the tooth made all the difference. Thank you, Dr. Andersen, for your exceptional care.
