The day before my appointment, I got a call telling me that my insurance was not covered and that I had to cancel all my appointments. Long story short, it was an error by the front desk person, but it was difficult to deal with on such a short notice. The office manager, Kim, turned the whole thing around, and it is because of her, and the good service I received for my 3 kids the next day, that I am giving this place a higher star rating. I honestly hope they figure this out and that I can come back in 6 months and provide a better rating. Dr. Swauger and the dental hygienist were EXCELLENT with the kids. This is something they could've checked the day before before wasting my time again.

Let me say, with no reservations, Dr. Haywood is a caring, cosmetic surgeon with a great dental chair manner. His staff is friendly, efficient and my appointments were made to blend with my work schedule. The office and dental rooms are pristine. I felt completely comfortable during the procedures. Each service as it was being performed was explained, so I had a clear understanding of where, why and what was happening. The entire process was completed within the proposed schedule. After the success of my bridge replacement, I decided to continue with Dr. Haywood for my regular preventative dental appointments. Although my dental hygiene health wasn't bad, it is so much better now! In fact, my spouse decided to see Dr. Haywood, decided on implants and now has an extraordinary smile. He, too, has chosen to continue for regular dental check-ups. We both love getting compliments on our smiles! Dr. Haywood's vast knowledge and experience will give you amazing results. All I did was get bite wing xrays (not complete xrays which they suggested that my insurance didnt pay for at all because I had them done recently) and a basic cleaning. A few weeks later I recieved a bill for approx $120.00 more!!! I didnt even get a deep cleaning or a cavity filled! I called my insurance to give me a list of doctors and every office I called seemed irritated that I called, very little patience. I found Dr. Ford on Yelp and took the previous review as a good enough reason to give him a try. I am so glad I did. I called to set up an appointment and the woman I spoke to was incredibly kind and patient. Scheduled me to be seen in a short time and even made my follow-up appointment at the same time. I felt at ease! The day of the appointment there was no waiting, it was a friendly and clean atmosphere and everyone was nice! It's hard to find that in healthcare professionals. Dr. Ford is knowledgeable, caring, patient (and I needed that) and honest. He let me know all the options available to me and let me decided. So many doctors try to push things on you that you don't even need! He walked me through everything that was happening and that is so important. He didn't rush through anything, he seemed to genuinely enjoy his craft. His staff is just as great as he is and I don't think I'll need another dentist in a long time! Dr. Gekas is nice. However, he often forgets what was discussed regarding the plan of care. He…read moretalks about a plan of care at the initial visit, but there is no follow-through. I am not sure, but I don't believe that he sends the moldings for permanent crowns out to a dental technician. I believe he makes his own to save money, but he doesn't tell the customer. He is deceptive. Generally, when I get a root canal, once the root canal is complete, there is a temporary tooth made through molding and the molding is sent to the dental technician to make a permanent crown. Once the permanent crown is ready, the dentist just pops it on and secures it with glue or something. This did not happen with Dr. Gekas. He told me the permanent crowns were in, and then her drilled and drilled and filled, etc. He is not a skilled dentist and he is very forgetful.
