Esther Kim - is great! She took extra care with my root canals. I highly recommend her.

I had to wait a month for an appointment. He was basically the only endodontist covered by my insurance. Since they weren't hurting too badly, I thought I could hold on. By the time the appointment came up, another tooth was hurting - bad. I went to my regular dentist and got a referral to get that tooth checked as well. When I got to the endo office, they basically only wanted to look at one tooth-The first one that was referred. I told the Dr Katsarsky another tooth was actively hurting but he would only discuss the first tooth on the original referral. They told me I had to make another appointment to come back in to get the tooth that was hurting checked. First time they could fit me in was 10 days later. Really????? Ten days?? Luckily I didn't have to wait that long. Three days later, the tooth Dr Katsarsky refused to look at got an emergency root canal by another endodontist who is not covered by my insurance. Did I care about the extra expense? Nope. I care about the pain and risk of losing an actively infected tooth. I cancelled all my appointments with Dr Katsarsky. I will never go back. What kind of endodontist won't look at a tooth that hurts????

The entire staff is so helpful and friendly. If they say they'll call you back they will. Dr…read more Katsarsky's assistant, Hoa is very knowledgeable. She couldn't be kinder and more considerate. Dr. Katsarsky goes above and beyond. I've had a few root canals done, two here and two elsewhere. I appreciate his attention to the comfort of the patient. He and Hoa explain everything . The doctor also gives shots in a manner that I find painless. I have a fear of needles but he's perfected endodontistry. They also offer a mouth rest that holds your mouth open while allowing you to relax your jaw. You can request a change at anytime if you choose. Most of all the end result is excellent. You don't want to have a root canal but, If you need one I would go to Eastside Dental. By the way the name of the procedure sounds scarier than it is especially done by Dr Katsarsky.

However I had an accident in 2021 and it was like a complete turn in their behavior. Three of my teeth were knocked out and to say it was traumatic puts it lightly, I wasn't in the right mindset. They made fun of me for bringing a stuffed animal to my appointments, saying that I was too old for those things. They also said with the dental bridge I ended up having I could only drink soup as food for the rest of my life, which years later is a giant lie I'm able to eat fine. And they also said to me with my bridge if it ever needs to be worked on it would rip out my teeth underneath, so I would end up having to just deal with implants. Which..Is also a lie, there's ways to safely remove them. I have since stopped going there and I can say the way they have treated me has affected the way I trust dentists and the PTSD I now have from my accident. Edit: Also forgot that my mother paid for all of the work done on my teeth, they overcharged her $800 and getting the money back to her took around two months.

They cancelled appointments and rescheduled me for a month later at 5 pm. I wonder if they have too many patients.

I had such bad pain I requested 2 sets of antibiotics and was taking 1000-1200 mg of Tylenol/advil daily and burned over 40 hours of personal time leaving work for them to see me to figure out why I had so my pain. Fast forward to 2 root canals later at an endodontist which set me back $3000 to fix Dr. Richters work they summed it as my mouth going through so much trauma that is disrupted the tooth pulp in my gums. I take very good care of my teeth and have had a couple of cavities over the years. This guy is a scammer and should be locked up. After the root canals I don't have any pain but to be honest the 2 crowns Dr. Richters put in are jacked up after the point and can't have them adjusted unless I pay another $1500. PLEASE do yourself a favor and DO NOT go here. I'm not someone who posts stuff like this but this cost me to max my dental insurance of $5000 in a single 3 hour sitting and they wanted another $5000 for the other side...use my own personal time address pain, $3000 for root canals I had to shell out to fix their mess and it was the worst 4-5 weeks of constant pain waiting for the pain to go away and Dr. Richter to figure out what the heck happened when he worked on my mouth. I should have taken a picture because after he was done with my two crowns and drilling I had blood splatters all over the paper sheet they put down on your chest.
