When we went inside, there was a lot to see. There are booths where different vendors sell their treasures. We didn't really see much that we were interested in unfortunately. That's pretty unusual for us. The staff also wasn't particularly friendly. No one said anything to us when we walked in and the desk is at the door. That's also unusual. Simply put, the attention to detail is remarkable. If that weren't enough, in admiring the handiwork one languid mountain morning, I had the opportunity to speak to one of the two owners of The Cottage very nicely about Dayton and the Valley, who remembered me on later visits to the store. Such taste, hospitality, and inspiration is not to be missed!
