Specialties
We provide veterinary care for dogs, cats, and exotic pets, including birds, reptiles, and pocket pets. If you have ever struggled to find a vet for your non-traditional companion, we understand that frustration, and we are here for you.
Our services include wellness exams, vaccinations, dental procedures, spay and neuter surgery, soft tissue surgery, and digital radiography. We also offer boarding, so your pet can stay somewhere familiar and caring when you are away.
One thing that sets us apart is our schedule. We are open seven days a week, with weekday hours extending into the evening. We know that pets do not wait for convenient moments to need care, and neither should you have to rearrange your entire day to get them seen. Whether it is a Saturday afternoon or a Tuesday at 8pm, we are here.
Our Licensed Veterinary Technicians offer morning wellness appointments, which means you can get your pet's routine care handled early in the day without the wait or the full exam room visit for straightforward needs.
We treat every pet like a member of our own family. That is not a slogan, it is how we practice every single day.
History
Established in 2026.
Our building on E. 52nd Street has been a home for veterinary care in Odessa for more than 30 years. Families in the Permian Basin know this location. They have brought their pets through these doors for generations.
When we opened Encore Veterinary Hospital, we wanted to honor that legacy while bringing something new to the community. We saw pet families in Odessa who needed evening and weekend options. We saw exotic pet owners with nowhere local to turn. We saw an opportunity to build something that truly puts pets and their people first.
Encore means "again, one more time." It felt like the perfect name for a fresh chapter in a building that has always been about caring for animals. Same trusted address, new team, new energy, and a deep commitment to being here when this community needs us.
Meet the Business Owner: Encore Vet Hospital E.
We are a small, independently owned team of veterinary professionals who chose to plant roots in Odessa because we believe this community deserves more options for its pets. We are not a corporate chain. We are your neighbors, and every decision we make comes down to one question: is this best for the animals in our care?
When you walk in, you will see the same faces every time. That consistency matters, both for you and for your pet.
