We've been coming to Venture in for 18 years, first in our RV and then 10 years ago we bought a park model. The staff this year has been so wonderful and caring this summer. They have helped with my Mah Jongg Group in many ways but today Resort hosts Deb and Ron and their helpers had the Recreation Hall all set up for our Mah Jongg Tournament. Additionally all the office staff has been very welcoming and helpful when I have a question. It feels like a breath of fresh air has arrived at Venture In. I've been a seasonal Resident for 11 years. The park is in such disarray. I agree with David's review. All is true. June 2, 2025 and still no Modems for the tv service they provide No park meeting planned, no activities posted, no ' concerts '. the park put on 2 Pickelball courts instead of fixing one of the streets that's been a gravely-mess for about 5 years. Then they post that Pickelball is only allowed to be played on certain days and times! What's up with that? A total lack of $RVers$ will certainly mean an increase in our dues come February. read more

This park has been poorly managed the last going on 3 years. Park went thru a manager in 2023 and another in 2024. No manager assigned for 2025. Park has many unresolved issues. I have attempted to contact them via phone messaging (they don't answer telephone) and emails with no response. Electrical is very old and needs to be updated. Already had a transformer blow up and started a fire. After that happened we were told the electrical would be updated. Guess what never happened? We were told not to run air cond and or oven with clothes dryer at the time. Since mid 2023 till new electrical installed. Streets are in great need of repair. Were told they would be repaired. Never happened. Speeding has been a long time issue. New signs were to be installed and streets painted on pavement with speed caution information as a starter. Whatever you do, don't pay attention to the website. It is very outdated. Management has not reached out to us with with any information other then looking for a manager. The park is currently over looked by a maintenance worker . I have called the park but have never received a return call. I have contacted several other park model owners who tell me the same story. the manager of Venture In, Eileen Davison, while working as interim manager of Countryside in Apache Junction, placed files dated 2007-2022 in dumpsters at Countryside Resort. these files contained guests names, addresses, phone number, social security number, date of birth, bank and credit card information. residents at Countryside were able to remove boxes and boxes of these files from the dumpsters but many had already been taken to landfill. And now Encore has allowed her to move back to Venture In in Show Low! Be careful what information this manager is in possesssion!!!! read more

This is predominately a mobile home park with some RV spaces. They do not provide internet at your site. They refer you to a 3rd party, Jabba, which has mixed reviews. read more

This is our first trip to Show Low and my husband booked us into Venture Inn for 3 nights. While the place is great for tbe 75+ yo crowd , for the over 50 but under 75 this place may be boring. The camping spots are on crushed lava rocks which did make leveling a problem. Dont let the "resort" guide direct your parking. We let the man who escorted us to our site direct us, and because our stairs are soow to the ground, and he was trying to get our steps over the concrete slab, the motor on our stair broke, and we had to use a step ladder to get in and out. Thats going to be a repair bill we didnt expect. I agree with someone who also posted that the $4/day resort fee is a joke. If there is internet here we were not told of it or given a password. For 3 nights, we paid almost 170.00. Not worth it. We had space 154 and the street light on the next street over shown right into my side of the bedroom. While it is clean, for me I feel Im staying at my grandmas community. I dont think we'll be back. read more

Great RV park. The RV spaces are gravel based with a nice concrete pad for your chairs and BBQ. The RV park shares space with park model homes. Many of the people here are part time summer residents over 55 years of age. The park is very clean, quiet, and well maintained. If you're looking for a quiet atmosphere this is a good choice. While backing our trailer into our site, neighbors to the left of us came running out yelling that we couldn't park our trailer next to them, they were having their roof done and needed that space. Office was contacted to verify this was the site given to us. After that these neighbors wouldn't speak to us. Make sure to get everything in awriting. We made arrangements with the office to move earlier than we expected. We were told this was fine and we would get reimbursed for the two months we already paid. One week before we were to move, we went into the office to remind them that we were leaving and were told they would have to get back to us about returning our money. We went back to the office the next day, and we're told we would not get our money back. Office staff unprofessional. TV reception and internet is terrible. We would not stay here again. read more

First of all, you need to know this is not an RV park. This is a 55+ mobile home park with a few RV spaces for good measure. Most of the people are there for the whole summer. The facilities are great but they are not really set up for RVs. First the sites are at a right angle, not diagonal. The bathrooms are closed due to Covid but it doesn't say that in any of their literature. There are toilets in the showers but again nothing in the literature and nobody tells you. Check in is completely self serve due to Covid. The office is unattended and they don't answer the phone. The showers are only open for a very short time each day. There is no WiFi. I know this all sounds very negative. The place is very nice. The guests are friendly. The dog park is wonderful. read more
