I have been working with Chris and Aaron to gain strength and function after hip replacement surgery. They are kind, gentle and encouraging, enabling me to make a good and quick recovery. I would choose them over any PT I've had in the past - they're the best! read more

I am so pleased that Encore was recommended to me. I had an auto accident over a month ago, and the Clinic scheduled me for appointments 6 weeks out! I was recommended to call Encore to be seen sooner, and it was an awesome recommend. They got me in quite quickly, and I've now had 2 appointments with Frank. He's been patient, kind, concerned, gentle, and very professional with his treatment and his recommendations. I have several more appointments scheduled with him. Could be the other staff there is as good, but I am not going to mess with it - my statement about Frank was/is "He was nothing short of wonderful." VERY pleased and thank you! read more

The staff as a whole are caring, patient, warm people- The facility is clean, inviting, with interesting art work- I started working with Frank after an accident, a time when I was not at my best- Frank listened to my concerns, helped me make a path forward in a positive, encouraging and skilled way. He checked in before every appointment and made great use of the appointment time. He answered my questions and explained about bones, muscles, .....he gladly re- explained in future appointments when I asked. Frank is much more that an amazing Physical Therapist, he is a solid human. I would rate Encore with more stars than five if the rating system allowed this. My advice; check out Encore it will be well worth your time! read more

I first saw Chris Guempel in preparation for hip replacement, then after surgery, again for the second hip, and a several times since for arthritis and back issues. Each time I was quite impressed by his thorough exam, his CLEAR explanation, and the PT that has made my life much more comfortable and healthy. I have recommended him to many people, and they have uniformly been very pleased and satisfied. He contributes a lot to the well being of people in Corvallis (and surrounding areas). read more

I started working with Chris in spring of 2018, prior to having rotator cuff surgery, in August. He helped me strengthen my shoulder and get it ready for the surgery. Post surgery PT was difficult, but Chris knew exactly what was needed to advance my healing and strengthen my shoulder. He not only had me do therapy in the office, but also gave me exercises to do at home. I truly appreciated that Chris understood when I needed to be pushed harder, but was also knew when I had reached my goals. The whole staff is very professional, friendly, and fun to work with. I looked forward to seeing them for my appointments and will miss not seeing them each week. read more

From the moment I got on the phone, through the door and throughout the entire process... the staff, environment, patient experience and convenience of Encore are top notch. From the front desk to the 'you're on your way, here are some keep up the good work stretches and physical endurance exercises to continue your journey forward' beyond the need for in-office PT experience. Everyone at Encore that I had the pleasure of working with was professional, delightful, encouraging and personal! The therapists are professional and extremely well informed about protocols and best practices. They consult with each other continually. They were great about educating me on the recovery process. I'm an everyday handyman and outdoorsman who really just wants to get back to living my best life. I'm once again able to enjoy the sports and hobbies I live for. It seemed like the therapists really understood the emotional toll my injury had taken on me and offered lots of ideas on everything possible to help me to safely resume my lifestyle. They encouraged me to take it easy, to not re-injure myself. They explained the process and why taking it easy was so important physically. They explained how our bodies heal, the changes that happen as we enjoy the therapy provided. I would recommend Encore to anyone of any age or treatment scenario - really excellent. read more

I had a great experience over the past couple of months with treatment at Encore. I injured my back/shoulder at work and encore took my insurance (IHN/OHP). They got me in right away, the scheduling was smooth. My physical therapist was Chris. He showed me a lot of respect and listened thoroughly while I explained what had been bothering me. He didn't make assumptions and made sure to take everything I said into consideration. I also worked with Teisha, she was great as well, very kind and knowledgeable. Overall just a wonderful experience. I looked forward to each appointment. read more

I have had the privilege of working with Frank (co-Owner and Physical Therapist) outside of his practice and within the business community. He is a very generous donor of his time and talent to organizations and agencies that help out the community. It's great to work alongside other business owners that are willing to go above and beyond serving their clients but are willing to give back and improve lives around them. read more

In mid-December of 2013 I had total hip replacement surgery on my left leg and had two months of in-home physical therapy. At the end of that time, my home health physical therapist recommended going to Encore Physical Therapy as the next step in my rehab. She couldn't have made a better recommendation! Everyone at Encore is friendly, fun, and an expert at what they do, including the front desk staff. The facility is very nice and well-equipped. I have been going for six weeks and am very pleased with the owners, staff, and my personal physical therapists. They know exactly what to do to take me to the next level of rehab safely and are great at motivating me to work hard on my exercises and walking. I love their personalized approach! If you are looking for an outstanding physical therapy clinic, this is the place to go! read more

The number 1 Physical Therapy in Corvallis! I've mainly worked with Chris, but entire staff is amazing. I've had knee replacement, hip replacement and most recent rotator cuff surgery. Chris is amazing and totally understands his patients and the limits. Chris will push you, but can see in your face if you've reached your limit. I just can't say enough good about this office. I'm highly recommend Encore PT! You will not be disappointed in any PT you see in the office! read more

I received outstanding care from Chris Guempel at Encore Physical Therapy. He was very knowledgeable, professional and thorough in his work with me. I was experiencing a lot of pain and very limited range of motion with frozen shoulder, and I made great progress as a result of the hands-on work he provided and the at-home exercises/stretches that he recommended. He was extremely compassionate and I knew that he genuinely cared about my healing. It was easy for me to trust his expertise and know that I was in good hands during a difficult and challenging time. Highly recommended! read more

I worked with Chris for a few weeks of physical therapy after experiencing a broken wrist and ankle. I really wanted to not only get back to my normal daily living ability but was also anxious to get back to hiking as quickly as possible. Chris was great to work with and was super helpful getting my ankle and wrist back to normal functioning. I really appreciated learning exercises I could do at home. As I progressed he was also able to focus on exercises that would allow me to safely get back to hiking as soon as possible. read more

I worded with Frank Hahn after two different injuries and he was excellent. I would definitely recommend him. The staff is great.

I had severe osteoarthritis in my left hip and was having a lot of pain. Chris Guempel, MPT, helped with the decision to have total hip replacement surgery, prepared me with strengthening exercises before surgery, and did the outpatient PT after surgery. Chris is skilled, professional and caring - and was very patient with me. He has a great sense of humor and made the PT sessions fun. I can't believe the pain-free mobility I have now after surgery and PT! I highly recommend Encore Physical Therapy and Chris Guempel as a physical therapy provider in Corvallis, Oregon. read more

I have been so impressed and appreciative of the help that I received at Encore. Chris Guempel worked with me for eight of my ten sessions. Unlike other Physical Therapy clinics that I have been to in Corvallis where I received print outs and instructions of things to do at home, here I was actually helped, with actual treatments and real therapy. I came in with lower back pain and pain down my left leg, centering in my calf. The pain was so extreme that I could not sleep. It was with me all the time. Now, on April 4, 2015 some four months after it started, but only 2 months after I started treatment at Encore, I do not have ANY pain in my leg, and very little in my back. Any one on the planet who has experienced pain must know how delighted I am. Also, I admit it certainly is nice to know where I can get help if I ever need it again.
