I've been searching for a massage therapist for years - one who tailors each massage to what my body needs on that particular day; doesn't aggravate old injuries and nagging pains; is friendly, but also lets me relax in quiet. Lora is the real deal. Sincerely. Her massage is the best I've ever had - not only while I'm on the table, but with how I feel afterwards. Her energy is beautiful. Her space is super comfortable. I would recommend her to anyone! read more

This was one of the best massages I've ever received. A true holistic bodywork genius. Her table is crazy comfortable. She has a unique blend of deep tissue and relaxation that was incredible. read more

Had a lovely massage by Lora last week, the hour went by too fast! Being new to Corvallis and finding a masseuse with a strong and gentle touch took some time, but I will definitely go back! I would highly recommend her services. The space was beautiful, clean and smelled yummy. read more

One of the best massages of my life. This therapist is for sure doing what she should be doing! I had a headache and migraine from a very difficult work week and she helped me so much! I can't wait to go back. She has the most incredible table as well. read more

Lora was the most intuitive, respectful, and delightful massage therapist. Her fingers really know how to find all of the little areas of your body that you didn't even know had pinches and she finds a way to release them. She knows a variety of techniques including trigger point therapy, heat manipulation, and deep tissue... altogether I just left radiant, happy, relaxed and better! I'm glad there was a yelp deal to entice me to try her out. Not only did I love "trying her out" but I also already bought four new massages to use in the near future I cannot wait to go back! My whole day is happier & my yoga practice, I'm sure, will be more improved tonight too!! read more

The quick version: Lora is the best, period. I've dealt with chronic pain and anxiety for almost 20 years now, poorly managed with a variety of medical treatments including physical therapy, massage therapy, medication and even surgery. By my count I have seen at least 15 different massage therapists for my conditions and Lora's knowledge and skills beat them all by a huge margin. Before we get to Lora herself let's get some of the technical details out of the way. Appointments are incredibly easy to make through an online portal or via e-mail/phone. An appropriate number of notices are sent for appointment confirmations and reminders. Parking is available in a private lot shared with a couple other offices, with dedicated spots for visitors. Lora's studio is, in my opinion, absolutely perfect. I love that it is an entirely private space; one bed, no other clients or therapists wandering around, competing music/sounds, etc. I've always been happy with the temperature and music but know Lora is happy to accommodate your needs. So how about Lora herself? She is a true professional, demonstrating not just a wealth of knowledge but also an exceptional awareness of/intuition of your body and its needs. This is important for any kind of massage but is critical when you're seeking help for an underlying condition. On top of having skills beyond any massage therapist I have encountered in the last 20 years, Lora is also one of the warmest, most genuine and caring souls I have ever encountered, and it shows in every aspect of the experience from start to finish. Don't hesitate to take Lora up on her offer of tea, too! Great, flavorful selection that, in tandem with a hug, is the perfect way to end your session. One last thing - Lora is the perfect person to see if you have either never tried massage or had a bad experience that put you off doing it again. I honestly can't imagine a better therapist to understand and work with any physical or mental hold-ups to ensure you have the best possible experience. read more

I'll just go ahead and leave another 5/5 review for Lora. Everyone previous to me has explained in great detail why Lora is a fantastic person and massage therapist. If only she could be cloned! The world could use the type of healing massage she provides! I had a bad bicycle injury from 10 years ago that she has helped to alleviate after my first visit. She really takes the time to learn about what you need and why you are looking for help. I've had other massages, but this first one with Lora was the best! read more

Lora does an amazing job. I've had a message before and when it was time to work through the knots, I was really struggling with the pain. With Lora, however, she is able to work through those knots without the pain. She was gentle and assertive at the same time! Really enjoyed my massage with her and will be returning! read more

Lora is a wonderful practitioner. Through her skilled massage techniques, she helped relieve some serious full-body pain that was limiting my range of motion. She also offered a number of suggestions that I could use at home to build on and extend the benefits of the massage. Equally important, I felt very comfortable with her and her office space which, at least for me, is a prerequisite in order to relax enough to receive the full benefits of a massage. I am so happy I made an appointment with her, and will definitely return. read more

Quick summary: Wonderful. Lora is an absolute professional. I arrived at her welcoming office feeling a little nervous because this was to be my first professional massage. I was worried I would feel awkward, and ticklish. Lora made me feel totally comfortable. I'm not sure what specific techniques she used, but whatever she did felt great. She used just the right amount of pressure and even pushed my limits a few times, which resulted in an even better overall experience. There was soothing music and relaxing aromas. She used some kind of hot pads to relax my back muscles before massaging it. I left feeling totally relaxed and even a little euphoric. Lora is great at what she does, and I would absolutely recommend her to my friends and family. I plan to return for more body work soon. read more

Lora is an excellent massage therapist incorporating heat and essential oils to create a wonderful pain relieving experience. Lora is amazing. Best massage ever! She is smart, kind and knows her business.

Lora is amazing, kind, professional, and one of the best massage therapists I have ever been. She is passionate about her work and strives to provide the best care possible. She tailors each appointment to your specific needs/wants/goals. Her website is really user friendly and easy to set-up appointments online (which I love). Truly, her ultimate concern is YOU as an individual and wants nothing more than to see YOU taken care of. She is awesome! read more

I'm lucky to be walking after an accident and Lora is one of the reasons why. Lora's work deepened the healing begun by from my chiropractors adjustments. Her understanding of anatomy and pressure points went to the core of the injury and gently coaxed the pain away. She supported me during a physical crisis and I will work with her on a regular basis to keep my body open and strong. Clare - PDX yogi/geezer/optimist read more

As a medical provider, I appreciate Lora's understanding of anatomy and body mechanics. Yes, message therapy should "feel good" but I believe as a part of holistic health, it should also set you up for success in your daily activities. We require a lot of our bodies, so I think it's reasonable to require a lot of the practitioners that we trust to make us feel our best. I know first-hand that Lora is in this elite group. If you don't believe me, just see for yourself...and enjoy! read more

Lora really does have magic hands! At my first visit, she seemed to quickly identify exactly what my body needed, dove right in, and delivered probably the most satisfying and effective massage I have ever received. I have long standing tightness in my neck and shoulders, which she deftly melted away, and the release work she did on my neck made me feel taller, spacious, and balanced. Hard to describe in words what a true healer she is. I'm delighted to have found her, and her reasonably priced packages (4 for the price of 3) will allow me to invest in some much needed self care. Thank you Lora! read more

Unprofessional and poor communication. I purchased a groupon for a massage based on all these wonderful reviews, schedule an appointment and received confirmation. I went to my scheduled appointment and she did not even show up! I contacted her by phone and email and did not hear back. Obviously I am going to be contacting Groupon to try and get a refund. I am not an expert but, I can say this is no way to run a business. Update in regards to the owners comment and explanation. I had received all of her emails when schedule and confirming, and have since received her emails now that she didn't show up to my appointment. It is quite strange that her attempts to contact me to reschedule prior were the ONLY ones that didn't come through. This was scheduled on a holiday weekend and it is very clear she decided she wanted to do something other than work but didn't care to be a professional. Trying to cover her self instead of owning that she was wrong. This is not a reliable place of business and I will never refer this to anyone. Groupon has refunded my money. read more

I've been going to Lone Oak for massage for about 6 months and from the first time I met Lora, I sensed that she is a true professional who cares very much about providing great care for her clients. Knowing this, each time I have an appointment I know I can genuinely relax and trust that Lora tunes in to where the tension is, and she works intently to alleviate the tension with great care. read more

I was extremely satisfied with my visit to Lora. She is very thorough with consultation and is genuinely interested in what work will be necessary to better the body for overall health. I've never felt SO loose the next day still, especially after a long work day. I'm excited to have found Lora. On another note, I also loved that she hits all the bases. Toes, fingers, feet, scalp, etc. these little things that some massage therapists often miss can make all the difference! read more

Best massage ever! I've been to Lora twice now and even thought she's not in my neighborhood, there's no where else I'll go. Yep, she's that good. I like a ton of pressure on my shoulders and she's one of the few that's been able to accommodate. And she's so awesome to work with...a real pro! read more

The best massage I ever have! She is so nice and so good. I told people right away where to go if they want a massage. Thank you Lora.

I love using Groupon to try out new massage places. Most places I have been to give a nice massage that makes you feel relaxed, but the effects never lasts long. I've had issues with my back since I was a teenager, and it's only gotten worse since I've had a desk job. I went to see Lora yesterday after seeing a Groupon for her. The massage she gave me really worked out the kinks in my back, and I still feel looser and more relaxed today. I was so happy with the massage that I ended up purchasing a package deal - 4 massages for the price of 3. I 'm finally done searching, and very happy to have found a massage therapist to go to regularly. read more

Lora did a fantastic job, she was professional and welcoming. I would highly recommend her!

Two words: Simply Outstanding. Lora definitely has a special gift when it comes to massage and knowing the human body. She was able to immediately pinpoint every issue I was dealing with and then worked her magic gloriously. As soon as she was through I instantly regretted scheduling only 60 minutes. Do your body a favor and go see Lora (for 90 minutes). read more

Lora was fantastic. Very attentive to my concerns. She focused on some sciatic nerve pain I experience. Lora skillfully worked out knots and tension I had in my neck and lower back. Realizing the importance of my health and well being brought me to Lora. Her expertise in her field, has encouraged me to make it a priority. read more

I was experiencing serious discomfort in the back of my shoulder. During our conversations on the phone and in studio she listened to my concerns and asked questions to better understand my circumstance. She gave me an excellent therapeutic massage, focusing on my problem areas and really helped to alleviate my symptoms -- I left feeling much better and equipped with a self-care plan to restore my back health. Lora is very personable and easy to talk to. I Highly recommend! read more

I came in with a headache and left pain-free! Lora was great! Her pressure was perfect. She took the time to get the whole picture of my health history and created a focused massage session that took care of what I needed. Lora had an innate sense of where to work on my body, and she is highly skilled in deep tissue and myofascial release. I am a massage therapist myself and I can tell you with confidence that Lora is one of Portland's best therapists. I will definitely be referring people to her and I highly recommend her work! read more

Lora is amazing! I really love her as a person, and of course her massages are over the top amazing. She was really able to help restore some freedom in the areas that were very tight, like my shoulders, SI joints, hips and neck. After each of my sessions, I have come in with some general pain, and fatigue and have left feeling elated and blissfully relaxed every time! She is truly a gem at what she does as well as a great person. I would recommend Lora to everyone I know. read more

After being involved in MVA, I needed some TLC. My muscles were very sore and my neck was stiff. Lora took the time to listen to my concerns and explained to me how she would approach my treatment plan. During the massage treatment, I felt as though she was "listening" to my body to see what healing needed to occur. I am very grateful to have found a kind and professional care provider who will partner with me to reach my optimal health goals. Logistics: the massage space is very peaceful, easy to find, and has plenty of parking. The online scheduling is very convenient. read more

Lora is a great massage therapist. After a cross-country move, hours of furniture assembly, and heavy cycling, my body was in knots. During the massage, Lora used just the right amount of pressure on my muscles so that I never found myself wincing in pain, but she was tough enough on the knots so that I felt noticeable looser afterwards. I had that great post-massage halo for the rest of the day and slept very soundly that night. I will definitely be back again. Thanks Lora! read more

Lora has some seriously magic hands. She has saved my back and neck multiple times, and has been my main masseuse for years - even sometimes making house calls! She's friendly but very professional, and definitely knows her stuff. I have recommended her to friends who also had rave reviews. If you want someone who will be completely in tune with your body, Lora's your gal. read more

I just had my first session with Lora about a week ago. The results were wonderful. I have problem with IT bands, Patella bands and shoulders. The story is that I have been very athletic and active my whole life and it has taken its toll. Lora took the time to understand the specifics of my injuries and did specific treatments including cupping and massage. I have already noticed a great difference. I am not waking up in the middle of the night with pains, Ive taken 4 flights and had very little pain compared to before. I cannot wait to get back and continue the work. Lora is a rockstar! The only reason I did not give 5 stars is because 4 seems more genuine :) read more

If I were to orchestrate exactly what I needed in a recent massage I could not have done it more perfectly than the massage Lora gave me. I was beyond stressed and her strong but gentle hands saved my body today. I have had many, many massages in my life and this one scores way up there. Thank you Lora read more

This is a great place! I highly recommend it. Parking is easy, the place is very cute, and Lora is fantastic!
