The Dr. Was very thorough and not pushy. He listened and took his time. It didn't feel like the other chiropractic offices I had been to before where they come in for 3 mins then after the 1st appointment they have you scheduled 3 days a week for the next couple of months. The front desk was friendly and very helpful with trying to figure out the best benefits of my insurance. They also have masseuses. I had a massage from Heidi and it was the best message of my life. I'm a new Pt. and I'm already referring people.

She is a compassionate listener with an ability to ask questions that enable her clients to become more aware of what is happening within themselves as she herself gets to the core issue needing attention. I'm extremely grateful for her care as I allowed my body to integrate changes in my vision due to surgery that took place months ago. I found her belief that we are each capable of recalibrating to wellness so reassuring.

Jessica at Spacious Being is an extremely responsive and attentive massage therapist. I have been…read moregoing to her clinic for awhile now and have seen remarkable improvement in many aspects of my health. My posture is better and in the subsequent days after each session I have more energy and increased flexibility. Jessica does a very good job of explaining her techniques and adjusting as needed. She understands what the body needs to relax and heal itself. She will listen to you and formulate a plan to address your areas of concern. At my sessions, all the trouble spots get worked and I always leave in a much better state than when I walked in. The deep tissue work is excellent. The location is easily accessible if you live anywhere on or near Capitol Hill and still totally worth it if you need to come from further away. For the outstanding level of service you get, the prices are very reasonable. While insurance is accepted, my plan does not offer this benefit so paying out of pocket seems to work just fine.

I am so thankful I found Jan! She is a miracle worker…read more I suffer from a disease called ankylosing spondylitis that attacks the spine, SI joints, neck, ribs, GI tract, and internal organs. In advanced cases this disease fuses the vertebrae in the spine together, causing a hunchback and shrinking. Lucky me, I have a very advanced case of this disease at age 35, with a large portion of my spine now fused together, and a dreadful posture. Yet Jan is still able to dig deep, release years of tension and pain from my body and muscles, so that I leave feeling lighter and taller each time. I so wish I discovered rolfing and Jan 15 years ago, when this disease started to take over my body. But I am just so thankful I have at least found her now!! I have been to a couple other rolfers who were nice and did good work, but Jan is the only one I would recommend with a glowing review. She goes deep, and gives you all she's got each session. I like to say its a treatment that "hurts so good". (Though if you are worried about healing pain, she will only go as deep as your want her to, its not anything to be scared of, it feels so, so, so good to release muscle and fascia tension, I just love it!!) Jan is very conscious about responding to your body. I just appreciate how much energy she puts into her practice. Seriously the best body work I have ever had in my life. Can't recommend her enough.

He is terrified of going to the Dr. because he has had many different medical issues and just gets terrified. He was a little champ and was not scared which was a huge relief and there were no needles involved but little balls for him. Thank you Will and Staff.

AAA-amazing! So great to have a community clinic in C-town!…read more The hours vary day-day so it is a good idea to make an appointment, you pay in an envelope prior to treatment and can book your next appointment at the same time in the schedule book, eliminating any distractions after your treatments. Because of the sliding scale payment system($15-30) you can afford to have multiple treatments, as is usually necessary with acupuncture. Bashful beware.... it is a community clinic and you are treated in the same room as other patients! However; you are only treated on your arms, legs and head; so there is no body exposure which also makes the needling quite quick. It's a quiet relaxing atmosphere with several recliners, with blankets & pillows available, to relax in during your treatments, there is eucalyptus in the air and soothing background music/sounds. This soothing atmosphere(and the soothing nature of acupuncture) also makes most being treated fall asleep:) and you can rest as long as you need. I usually bring my own blanket and pillow, and ear plugs are advised if you are sensitive to noise/snoring around you during sleep/relaxation periods. If you have a specific time you need to be done just make a mention before your left to rest and you will be woken in time... so considerate! All around a great place if you are already an acupuncture fan, and a great resource if your just curious about the benefits! Highly recommend checking it out!!
