Got a pedicure, and my daughter got a mani/pedi. Loved it. Staff was quiet, but polite, and did an excellent job.
This is my first time getting my nails done here & it was disappointing. The guy did a good job on my toes, but my nails were horrible. I didn't make a fuss, I just won't be returning for nails again. The lady did s good job on my brows, tho. FYI: This is the correct location, I just used my middle name.
Full set acrylic; nude ombré. Nana took my walk-in, 9:45am on Saturday (the day before Mother's Day). Out by 11:15a, my nails look amazing. The shading, brush work and tip thinness/apex build balance is terrific. Nana keeps a tidy workspace and her tools are clean and aesthetically pleasing. She removed a gel manicure with thorough gentleness to start the session. Everyone was at work, not a lot of chit chat between artists, something I really appreciate. Price? More than fair for what I got. Be prepared for a slight add-on charge for using a card, but it's negligible.
If I could leave zero stars I would. I usually don't have to write a bad review but unfortunately today is the day. As you can see my nails look like crap as the nail artist walked away after I politely asked her to turn down the speed on the drill as It was hurting and making my nail bed hot. She completely stormed off and I was just left sitting for over 25 minutes before any off the staff approached to say what's going on. At that point I was completely over it and decided they weren't worth me swiping my card. When I was about to leave one of the staff said she left to take a appointment as I was a walk in and couldn't satisfy my request to turn the drill speed down. To make matters worse I have to be somewhere at 5 and it's past three and won't be able to go and fix my nails before then. Completely rude. HIGHLY recommend not getting services done here.
If I could give this place a negative 100 I would. They are the most disrespectful unprofessional people I have ever come across doing business. I spent a good amount of money and my time only to be highly disappointed in my service. Cody the manager yelled, and threatened me with because I told him I was unhappy with my nails and only wanted them to be fixed according to the own polo correction free of charge. DONY GO THERE, THEY DONT RESPECT US OR OIR MONEY.
I've been going to this salon for a year now. 3 different times 3 different nail techs all over drilled my cuticles causing them to bleed and be sore. (Yes I know I probably shouldn't have given 3 chances) Most recently as of 2 weeks ago the nail tech drilled the skin off around my big toe and now I have a scab from the wound she opened. She put my foot back into soapy water after I told her TWICE that my foot is on fire and burning from her constant drilling. She put the drill back on my toe after that which I told her to STOP. We had to pause the service in the salon while I was in pain from my burning toe to which the nail tech just looked at me. Didn't even try to help remedy the burn. I was unable to put my foot into any water that was more than warm after this service. I take hot showers so when I experience my toe burning it was awful. My toe was sore the entire week. I did tell the front desk immediately after service AND paying the full price that they're nice people but I will never come back to this location. Most of the techs barely know how to do designs that aren't just the standards ones used for years.
I will start off with the positive review. This is my third time to the Nail Bar. Ambiance is amazing and they have a lot of nail techs. Negative : Customer service sucks!! My first time I made an appointment and when I got in I waited while woman were just walking in sitting down with techs. I didn't complain because I figured those are probably their regular customers ,but they were not my mom also had an appointment and she is a regular there and she waited about 20 minutes after her appointment time because walk ins were going in and being seated immediately not following the que to sign in with the front desk. Today was my 3rd time coming back I got a pedicure and a filling , when the young man Dylan began to polish my nails I asked him "Did you do a new filling?" He "said yes I did" But my nails seemed awfully thin but the shape was perfect!!! While he was putting the design on my nail I asked again "did you do the filling " he said yes yes. I checked out at 12:12 , I went home opened the refridge door and my nail breaks in half. I get back to the nail salon and the same young lady who checked me out was there . I told her my nail broke I was just here today, is it possible to get it fixed? The young lady (receptionist) says yes a guy comes from the side and goes what's wrong . She tried explaining to him but before she can get her words out he looks at me and say "that's your fault we didn't break yo nail" I say to him I was just here at 12 and my nail broke already can the tech fix my nail? He goes "That's your fault ! We didn't do that" Apparently no shit Sherlock!!!! Can it be fixed today? Is he here? He goes well you gotta pay!! Because that's your fault you broke that not us. To clarify this for the readers , I never mentioned cost never said I wanted to pay or didn't want to pay I simply just asked to get it fixed. This nasty disrespectful man goes to the back and a young lady comes to help. She ask the receptionist what happen? She says her nail Broke she wants to get it fixed. The young tech goes okay you have to PAY already with an attitude . Okay I understand that can someone fix it? She takes me to a seat to begin my nail mind you it's my middle finger , I have extra long nails and I have been getting my nails done for 25 years I know the drill they put the tip then they measure to make sure it's all the same length. As I overlap my hand she goes "you keep pointing your middle finger at me " I'm just trying to fix yo nail and you keep giving me the finger" I explain to her I'm not upset at you or the tech that fixed my nail, I said but it is crazy I got my nails done less than 3 hours ago and it's broken. I said so yes I'm frustrated but it's not you it's the guy from the front who automatically gave me an attitude and thought he needed to tell me it's not "the salons fault and I must pay" It's the PRINCIPLE!!!!!!!!! You can see in the system this is not my first time here I'm a repeat customer AUTOMATICALLY when I walked in saying my nail broke you should be getting me in a seat and fixing it not telling me it's not the salons fault . Apparently I have to pay for the techs time because they are doing my nails I paid the young man a $20 tip when my filling only cost $40 so it was not about the money it's THE PRINCIPLE when you run a business the customer is always right !! And you try to solve the issue !!!! You do not assume and yell at the customer and tell The customer they need to pay before even understanding what the issue was !!!!!!!! I'm writing this review because I WILL NEVER give this place my business again they need management a person who can deal with the customers coming in and out ! You can not think because you are offering a service you can speak to people any kind of way! It's not acceptable at all!!
First time taking my girlfriend here and they ABSOLUTELY SUCK!!!! 4 hours!! She got a mani & pedi. The pedi was fine. The mani took 3 hours! They kept moving her to other techs & none of them could figure out how to do a design they posted on their own Website page! $158 later and I'm extremely upset with their service. They charge for small details just to get money out of you. They even told us that they didn't have the materials needed for this design.
It took me awhile to find a nail bar that I liked and would return to. Lynn does excellent work every time! If I show her an inspo pic she can copy and paste the hand painted designs!
Encore Nail Bar is like nothing I've ever experienced before, and here's why there's no reason for me to look elsewhere. Customer Service: From the moment I called about an appointment, the service was impressive. Cody arranged my visit and made me feel welcome from that point forward. Cody also checked on me multiple times throughout my appointment, always making sure if I was happy with how everything was going so far. We chatted about how this is a family business and how much he cares about the success of the salon. He has a keen ability to make a guest feel important. I'm not used to this level of service and I really appreciated his ability to go the extra mile. Just when I thought the service was already top-notch, I was pleasantly surprised to see that it was only the beginning. Quality: I had the volcano pedicure and later a manicure, both done by Keely. Let me tell you; I have gotten a lot of pedicures ranging from standard salons, spas, cruises, etc. I have NEVER had a pedicure like this, ever. The volcano pedicure itself is a treat; scrubs, aromas, a bath bomb, hot stones, hot towels, and a deep tissue massage. It is absolutely worth it. Pamper yourself and get this one. It's my new staple pedicure. My feet were cleaned, and I mean cleaned, extreme attention to detail - nipping any leftover cuticle well after the polish was applied - clean. Any pain and sore areas from having just moved to a new house were melted away by Keely's unbelievably work, and she was so nice! Her customer service is top-notch as well. Cleanliness: This was my first nail appointment since stay at home orders were implemented back in March. I was really hesitant to venture out into a salon. However, I was at ease when I visited Encore. I noticed employees sanitizing the salon while I was there. There's plexiglass at every station, and everyone was wearing their masks. This is a 5/5 establishment hands down. Great location, outstanding service and attention to detail, and an impressive ability to make customers feel like they matter. They have my business for sure. Impressed all around!
I've been going to this salon since moving to the Davenport area. I truly enjoy the service here, make your appointment, show up on time and the process will go smoothly because they are always busy. Steven really is amazing, he never disappoints when I come to him with my ideas. I wish the techs were better at manicures, they are a few good at it like Amy but haven't gotten any other worth it. Overall it's definitely worth the visit
I enjoy coming to this salon because of the nice ambiance and staff. I've been coming here on and off for over a year now and like to have my designated nail Techs. Two nail Techs who I used to love no longer work here so I had to research who to ask for because I felt once that my nails could've looked better (just once). Glad that I recently had Chris service my nails. He was meticulous with his work and completed in a timely manner. I am so pleased with my nails! I will add that they have a huge variety of dipping and gel colors.

my first time being here and it was great! the environment was awesome and so were the people. Only thing that threw me off was I booked an appointment online and it said "$30 for full set acrylic" and the receipt said "$45" instead. I paid it obviously because the work was good and I had no problem but if the base price says $30 plus the add on for length and designs the total would have been $55 and not $70. Other than that it's a great place and very nice work read more

I recently moved to the area and was in dire need of a mani pedi. Most salons are closed on Monday's but I happened upon this location close to home and decided to give it a chance. I was able to get an appointment same day. I got there a bit early and was seen before my appointment time which is nice the pedicure was amazing! I loved the service and the location was super clean and staff was very nice. I went in with a design in mind for my hands and they delivered! Came out super cute and she took her time doing my nails. Will definitely come back soon! read more

Wanted a simple manicure. My cuticle weren't cut and my nails weren't filed even. Never going back I wanted no color and they were trying to push me to get color the man who was doing my manicure came over with color and tried to paint my nails and I had to tell him no for the 4th time. $20 for a service I didn't get. read more

Let me start by saying wow as soon as I walk in the first thing I look at was the chandelier, it was so beautiful! So today I decided to finally get out of the house and get my pedicure done, trust me I was long over due! I decided to get the volcano pedicure and what can I say my feet feels better than before. The service was incredible! The shop is nice all around, and it's very clean also they have the sneeze guard on the tables. Overall this place is amazing! read more

Well... I can say this much, I am NOT disappointed. I booked a same day appointment and had never been to this salon before. It has been quite sometime since I've had a pedicure and a manicure, but this experience did not disappoint. I first met Mimi who did my volcano pedicure, which was so amazing. I opted for the gel on my nails because it lasts longer, although it is an up charge, it's totally worth every penny. Mimi was so friendly and did an absolutely stunning job. I was so relaxed and the atmosphere was very welcoming. Then, I met Kimmy. Kimmy did one of the best jobs on my nails. I had S&S with tips and I'll say the 25 years of experience shows! I have 0 complaints and they just earned a new customer.! Thank you, Encore Nail Bar @ Posner Park in Davenport.!!! read more

I've gone to this salon a few times and the last time is my absolute last time going. when "Sarah" I don't even know if that's her name.. was doing my nails I said to myself "why are they so flat.. no apex?" but since I'm not a professional I let her finish. THE VERY NEXT DAY I PUT MY HAND IN A DRAWER & LIGHTLY HIT MY NAIL AGAINST IT & IT DESTROYED MY REAL NAIL WHILE CRACKING IN HALF!! this is due to NO APEX!!! I should have opened my mouth but your techs should know better. this is absolutely disgusting service read more
