On a Saturday night, one person was saying it was $50 and free other was saying $40. But for what you're paying it's an ok karaoke place. The songs get updated pretty quickly though I went two weeks after a new BTS song came out and it was there. The food seems to be from the Exit 201 next door. Which is very average. Nothing special about it. But very pricey probably because they need to make a profit off it. Like $20 for odenggtang? The rooms are older but decently clean. They put in UV light strip on the wall to "sanitize" the room. It's nice to have you're own room and not have to worry about other guests. The owners were not wearing a mask though. . If you need drinks, just push the service button on the wall and someone will come assist you. Water is not complimentary and you need to buy bottled water. But the popcorn is complimentary.

I guess I wanted the quintessential New Jersey Korean cultural experience while hanging out with my only Korean friend from New Jersey. Did I mention that I was in New Jersey? This place is located in a mini-mall but you should be able to find its sign from the outside. The place is run by a cool guy that seems to be something of a character given the amount of art of him that appears near the entrance. Who made this art? No clue. It's cool. He's cool. The song selection seems pretty up to date, at least with Korean music. Still pretty good selection of pop songs in English, allowing non-Korean speakers to have fun too! Standard karaoke fare here, with two microphones, two song books, some couches, and two tambourines. Would have been a little bit more fun if we brought drinks, but it's fine! Alcohol is bad for us.

There's also a large parking lot out front, so parking was easy and convenient. The rooms themselves were decent, but the karaoke setup definitely felt outdated and was harder to use than expected. There were two ways to select songs: using the Korean karaoke system or a Samsung tablet connected to YouTube. We ended up using YouTube, but the system was frustrating to navigate. The tablet had a thick film over the screen that made clicking difficult, and searching songs had to be extremely specific for karaoke vibes (for example, typing "Love Story KTV" instead of just the song name). It was also inconvenient trying to queue songs while someone else was singing because you had to minimize the current video to search the next one, making it hard for the person singing to follow the lyrics. On top of that, every time we tried adding songs to the queue, it would accidentally click into another video and cut off the current song mid performance. A lot of time was wasted just trying to search and add songs. It would be better if they allowed Bluetooth connection to personal devices instead, so adding songs would be more efficient, just a thought...

There are wooden booth seating and your typical round metal tables when stools that you find at a Pocha. Lots of items on the menu. We picked the half half pajeon that was half seafood pancake and half kimchi. Both were delicious but the kimchi one really stood out. Great taste and nice crisp to the texture. We also ordered the charcoal grilled pigs feet. Came with seasoned seaweed rice balls and bean sprouts. Delicious charcoaled taste with a spicy kick. Totally recommend. Also ordered the stir fried octopus that also came with riceballs and beans sprout. Our least fave dish of the nice was the chicken gizzard. Very dry and tasteless and missing the sesame oil dip that normally comes with this dish. For drinks we ordered the apricot soju. Sugar free but I didn't like the after taste. However this is my niece's favorite soju. I didn't like the fake sugar aftertaste. This place was so much fun. Loved that they blasted BTS musics and videos the whole time. It was odd that you scanned the qr code to see the menu but you still order via waitstaff. An interesting relic that remains from the covid times. We got the fishcake soup and the korean savory pancake (two flavors: seafood and kimchi). The soup comes with fishcake on a stick as well as ricecakes (duk), a hardboiled egg and udon and they put it over a small heater so it stays hot. The pancake was on the gummy side (could use a bit more filling) but overall delicious. Knocked a star off because service was on the slow side (both to order and to get the check, and our waiter did not really check on us all that much) but other than that an enjoyable experience.

Added benefit, they had their own parking lot, fitting about 10-12 cars right in front of the 3rd floor entrance thru the private parking lot. Once we arrived on Saturday evening, the manager took us to their biggest room since we had about 14 people. The room was cozy enough. All guests were able to see the TV fine. The music/lyrics were played through Youtube, so it was easy to search and play them. The microphones and sound systems worked fine too. We were the only ones in the karaoke room around 7pm, but by 9pm all their rooms were full, so was the restaurant's dining space. During the party, we ordered a bunch of drinks and food items. They had a call-in button in the room that notified the manager to come in. The grape slush bowl were massive hits among our friends. Ube rice wine also good. Among food onion rings, fresh fries, cheese sticks, fried (pork) dumplings, chicken wings, chili shrimp, and cream shrimp all were good quality. I loved the fried gizzards, takoyakis and butter roasted squid. They actually served a whole squid that I had to cut in pieces. Throughout the night the manager and rest of staff members provided wonderful service. Being a large party, we had lots of orders and requests, that they accommodated for us. They also kept the birthday cake in their kitchen and when we were ready, they brought it out with a fire cracker on top. We also got plenty of bowls and cups for all of us to share the food, cake and drinks. Originally we had booked for 2 hours, but since everyone was having such good time, we extended for another hour. Highly recommend them for karaoke night or just to enjoy some delicious Korean food.
