I was transferred hereafter after a spinal surgery. The care I received here under the supervision of Dr Yang and Dr Jac was superb. The nursing care was superb particularly Jennifer L and Briela. The occupational therapy under the direction of Ashleigh and Allie was amazing. Physical therapy by Abbey C was terrific and she got me walking. Other outstanding therapists were Claire and Ryan M. I have never encountered such dedication patients and kindness. I am grateful beyond words for the treatment I received at Encompass in Framingham. read more

this is a horriable place - do not bring your loved ones here - this is truly a crappy rehab place that does not do the correct rehab for patients, and the case workers do not really care about their patients. case worker tina needs to be fired she is a liar and has only made everything worse for my family. make sense this place owns fairlawn rehab in worcester and that place is one of the worst places to ever go to. both places should be shut down! do not get fooled by the star rating on google this is a very bad place! my father 65 years old disabled veterans had major spin surgery at brigham women's, that hospital is fantastic by the way, he was doing good. but once he was moved to this horriable place encompass rehab in framingham ma everything went down hill for the worst. his major issue is the extreme pain in right leg which is the cause of not walking well. i found out later most of his rehab was sitting in chair with bunch of 80-year-olds and doing arm movements. i found out every time he was in too much pain they just gave him another oxy. if he could not sleep, they just gave him more oxy. this place is just drugging up patients, so they do not need to deal with them. tina the lying case worker told me he will have the same medications available when he leaves to go home. but on pick up day i was told they have been giving him 10mg of oxy plus valium every 4 hours, but he will be cut down by going home to 5mg every 6 hours. i would think the cut down on pain medz would be done in rehab first... wouldn't that make more sense to do. i also had to take 2 days off from work one day to come in for a person to talk to me for 10mins on stuff my father will be able to do when he leaves. tina the lying case worker insured me that my father was able to dress himself / shower / go to the bathroom and wipe himself on his own / she told me that an in-person nurse will come to the house, and we will have rehab pt people come to the house as well. but on the very last day the day i was there to pick him up tina the lying case worker told me this has all changed that a nurse and rehab people will not be coming to the house and that we will have to get him to all the appointments. all this talk about him being able to do stuff on his own was a lie. he can't even put his shirt on without help. he peed the bed every single night multiply times. encompass owns my parents 2 new mattresses, it should come out of tina the lying case worker paycheck. father was able to see his va doctors who was extremely shocked on why he was let out of rehab so early. va doctor got in house nurse and pt to come to the house the pt persons aid the same thing why did they let him out he did not ready the in-house nurse same thing was shocked he was not in rehab, and she even said he needs go back in. then yesterday we had to go see the appointment with surgent and my father doing so bad they had us drive him back to the er of bridgman women in boston. now we found out he has a facture and he is going back into surgery. this is all encompasses fault they just kicked my father out way to early they also told us wrong information his condition. the doctor ordered him to be in rehab for months and encompass lied to use saying that's not true, but it was. they also told us wrong information on his spin disease, and they did my father's medications wrong. i just found this out yesterday 5/6/2026. i called and asked to talk to management i talked to lisa and she was useless. she was supposed to get me head nurse to talk to, but she did not! no one calls me back! i have been calling over and over many times to talk to management and all i get is lies form everyone on the phone. i want to talk to the director of case management and the admninistrator now! do not bring your loved ones here - this is truly a crappy rehab place!!! with extremely horrible management! read more

PT and OT were great. Some CNA's and Nurses were good (Mary was the best) and some were awful. My mom was unable to ambulate without assistance and at times had to wait over an hour for her call light to be answered. They kept saying that dehydration was a big part of her problem, but waited 8 days to give her an IV. One CNA on the overnight shift was absolutely terrible and was no help, and when my mom complained to the the other staff, they all agreed that he is awful and that everyone complains about him. I went to encompass June 20, 2024 to recover from total right knee replacement, seven broken ribs, and a broken wrist. Dr. Rosenberg really cared about my recovery. About half the nurses are pretty good, and the PT/OT people are also pretty good. My family visited every day, and even my service dog was welcomed. However, five days in I found out by happenstance that there were several Covid patients there, residing in rooms that were not closed. Perhaps HIPAA rules prevented them from telling me. But this presented a huge risk to me and my family. I was furious, and immediately discharged myself out. The doctor discharged me against orders, so I had to sign a release. There were no Covid protocols for patients and I believe many people visiting here did not know there was Covid. How could they be so cruel? How would you feel learning this? To literally save my life, I immediately discharged out, and will never trust them again. read more

Beware of this place!!!! My fiancé was sent here after he had a double knee quadricep tendon surgery at Newton Wellesley Hospital... he arrived there on a Friday night and was bathed after 5 days not bathed at Newton Wellesley ... the food there is inedible to say the least ... and my fiancé is not picky. I had to bring him food so he actually had something in his stomach... they started doing his physical therapy right away and apparently they were doing it incorrectly from the start .. after spending 2 weeks at this horrible place, he was in Group Pt on Monday 7/10 and Ended up falling with everyone around him and re tore both knees that he had just repaired on June 19. He then had a second surgery on both knees, again on July 11. He then went to a highly recommended rehab facility and is recovering very well. I went to Encompass Rehab in Framingham after 2 surgeries and 11 days in the hospital after having been hit by a car, My treatment was superb! Every attending physician, nurse, PT, OT and support staff treated me with tremendous compassion and respect! I felt like I was their only patient- everyone was completely focused and dedicated to my recovery! The facility is immaculate, the pandemic protocol is excellent- I always felt safe and secure. I have tremendous respect, admiration, and gratitude for everyone involved with my treatment. (BTW- the food was GREAT!) My mother was sent here after having a stroke. She was unable to feed herself. She was having horrible pain from spasms that occur after a stroke. She was unable to press the nurses call button to ask for assistance. That being said she was left at the end of the hallway by herself I would walk in and could hear her crying from the door the f ont door of the hospital I could hear it loud and clear and nobody ever helped her. . No one had helped her eat, I walked into to see a juice. She attempted to give herself all over her and all over the floor dried up so obviously it had been hours since she had been checked on. Anytime I asked nurse any questions I was told that they would have to ask the next nurse that was coming on the next shift and all of the nurses always seem to be uninformed and unwilling to answer any questions regarding medication, or her condition for the pain management blood pressure. Anything. She was just allowed to cry out for hours. I would find her alone in the dark room no TV no stimulus nothing in the same clothes that she had been wearing the day before even though I had had clean clothes for her there. Sound bells go off for long periods of time without anybody responding and if they do they just go on the room and shut it off and do nothing. What is sad is that this supposed to be one of the better rehab hospitals my mother is nonverbal now and because of that she was at the mercy of the very unwilling staff to assist her basic needs. Please people if you have family members that cannot advocate for themselves. Please make sure you are to see your family members on a daily basis because these places don't care about people and it's very obvious. You have to advocate for people that cannot. My mother lost a lot of weight for pain was never delt with. She developed a horrible cough and got sick. Lost a lot of weight and I had to make sure that I went in every day fed her myself. read more

Please be very cautious when placing a loved one here. To begin, their response time to family inquiries is poor and their treatment of patients questionable. Basic questions presented to the staff often are answered with a vagueness that makes you wonder if they even know the patient's history. Reading the other two reviews posted here, and the facility receiving high marks, makes me wonder if they are more amenable. to patients who are able to advocate for themselves while sedating others who aren't in the same position. If a family member needs acute rehab, please look elsewhere for your peace of mind and their safety. Please know that there was one staff member that provided excellent service, but other than that one person, who was lovely, the others were ill-equipped to manage a plan of care. My experience is based off of a family member who was a patient in this facility during the prior year and failed to thrive due to no other reason than the poor care. read more
