Brilliant store, it may be a little further out of town but you can also buy from their on line…read moreshop. I've bought little candles and tea lights from the store and I'm pretty keen on a candelabra that I spotted on line, which holds a pot in the centre for flowers. All the items in here are very well chosen and pretty cheap all things considered. There's traditional married with modern vases, photo frames, jewellery, fragrances and more. Definitely one for ze ladies!

Friends have bought me things here and I have bought things for my friends here. Why one star? I popped in to browse their sale today, all was well until a lad came in to see if he could drop off his CV. One of the two ladies who was working accepted his CV while he continued to browse the store. He had a question about the candles on clearance; did the price reflected on the tag mean per candle or the whole set? The lady told him it was per candle, not the whole set. He placed the candles down, thanked her and walked out. This is when the lady who gave him the price clarification looked at the lady working behind the counter (presumably the owner of the store) and goes "he is a bit too crazy for you, huh?" To which, the lady behind the counter while dealing with a customer goes "yes, he is a bit too crazy." Sorry? I can't imagine what the both of you have been through in your life to categorize a customer who is merely looking for a price check to be "too crazy" for you. Is it because he thought the sale price was for all the whole set of candles instead of per candle? Then maybe you shouldn't have wrapped all the candles together to reflect only one price? If your product or the pricing is not 100% clear, expect customer queries and respect that. There will always be "back talk" but to openly voice those comments in front of other customers? Unprofessional and tactless. I support small businesses because I admire their community vision, distinctive character, and local entrepreneurship. What I saw today left a bad taste in my mouth and shows that we all need to be more kind to one another.

If you like being ignored, this is the place for you…read more My sister and I shop organic at home, so this shop appeared promising. We happily pay more to support healthy gardening back home in the US. The employyes were helpful and informative. we Visited en route to Kew Botanic gardens. Unfortunately, the Owner/manager was entirely unhelpful. We asked about wines, she had no clue. She opened 2 bottles of juice for sampling, then offered none to us but only to her employees and... People she deemed worthy? In the end we purchased a few items, and her employees were quite helpful. but given her attitude and refusal to be hospitable or acknowledge our presence by offering anything more than a cold stare... we left with many fewer items than planned. bottom line: Would have happily purchased more had the owner expressed a passing interest in being pleasant or attentive. Recommendation: get takeout food from the Railway restaurant. Great service, tasty food, good prices. Also, the employees in the coffee shop down the street, on way to gardens, were more than happy to help and Answer questions, so this is not a pervasive attitude of Richmond shopkeepers (thank goodness).

Oliver's wholefood shop, like all health food shops I've found in London is typically overpriced,…read moreand yet still I find them absolutely delightful and heartening to parade through, browsing the shelves. The stores exterior is painted a great, deep blue and makes the warm rustic colours from inside, glow out even more so in their contrast. It sells everything from food to health and body care products, and the dark wooden shelves all around the shop walls really do go as high as the ceilings (and are stacked full). The staff are really friendly and it has a real community and friendly vibe to it. I will definitly be popping in whenever I pass again.
