Gina is great and knew exactly what I was looking for. I'm pretty picky about hair cuts. A lot of times it looks fine coming home from the salon but then after the first wash it looks uneven or not quite what I wanted. I also have "the ponytail test" to see if the bangs look okay with the rest of my hair pulled back or if the ponytail looks weirdly chunky. These pictures are after the first wash. The layering is even and it poses the ponytail test. It looked better after Gina blew it out, but this is more representative of what it looks like day-to-day. I'm due I'll be back. read more

Best cut and color I've ever had in Washington and super close to Shelter Bay! Relaxed atmosphere.

After having to cancel an appt with another salon due to a scheduling conflict, I was desperate to reschedule as quickly as possible anywhere I could. I reached out to Enchanted Locks and heard back from Gina right away. She fit me in quickly and I am beyond thrilled with the outcome. She listened to my concerns and ideas, and my hair looks better than I imagined. I moved to Skagit from King County over 5 years ago, and have gone through as many hair stylists... never being able to find one that gave me exactly what I was looking for. Love, love, love this place and Gina! Best haircut I've had in over ten years. I have thin and curly hair, it gets a little wild and does what it wants! She really brought back the bounce and shine for me. I'd also have to say that there is always a little magic in the air at the Salon! Gina was an absolute delight! She promised my 8 yo "enchanted" hair (locks!) and she delivered. A great cut and curls, curls, curls (in normally very straight hair). My little girl couldn't stop swishing her hair around to watch her curls bounce. My haircut was also lovely, and Gina gave me some great shoulder relaxer rub to ease the pain I was having after a tense day. Enchanted Locks is a great salon in the perfect location right in central La Conner. I have been travelling the PNW for several months and was long overdo for a haircut. I searched and searched for the right salon and came across Enchanted Locks. Gina is a fabulous stylist who really knows her stuff! Going into my appt, my hair was super long with lots of split ends, and I left with a fresh cut that looks fabulous. Gina was great about not pushing any extreme styles and gave me a cut that I can manage day to day. It is always scary to try a new stylist, but early on in my appt, I felt like I was in great hands with Gina. Next time I'm in the area, I will definitely be coming back! I was in town for a wedding and my original hairstylist in California wasn't able to do my hair. My husband looked online for hair salons in La Connor and I quickly called Enchanted Locks. Gina was able to see me the next morning and she did an amazing job! I was told by other salons that I wouldn't be able to achieve the level of blonde I was going for without multiple visits. Gina was able to do it in one morning and did it without harmful bleach products. I walked out of the salon extremely happy and loved my new cut and color.
