During a particular hot evening in the summer, I decided it would be way too difficult to try to cook, and since EN2 Flava's had recently opened (and the owners kept wanting us to try it), I decided it would be the perfect choice for a takeaway.
So EN2 Flava's is the sister restaurant of The Poppadom (which is conveniently located just two doors down), but it's not just your typical Indian Curry house. Flava's has a wider menu, with some American classics (burgers and chicken) and pizzas as well as a few Indian dishes. A lot of the menu does have an Indian flair to it though.
We decided on two pizzas. They have your typical pizza toppings, but where they really stand out are their "bases" (which are basically different types of sauces). The standard base is free, and it's a £1 charge for the other four: BBQ, Balti, Masala, or Spicy. It gives you a good opportunity to try different things, and for the other half who prefers non-tomato sauces, it's a nice change.
Both of the pizzas we hard were delicious, but my favorite was the Round Red (double pepperoni, onions and mushrooms) with the balti base. Delish!
It's also conveniently located quite close to our house so it's easy to order and it comes quickly and it's quite hot. (We had some chips as well and they were hot and crispy, unexpected for a takeaway!) read more
