We really love Shoreline AC! They have a great price,…read morewonderful customer service, honest, and perform quality work. I think the most important question is would you recommend them or do business again? The answer is Yes. I've recommended Shoreline AC to 3+ friends and they've chosen Shoreline for their AC needs. And again, I will be using Shoreline AC for a new energy efficient AC unit (they replaced my ac in my old home and now again for my new home). Last thing, I saw a one star review for Shoreline AC and I would take that with a grain of salt and not at all what myself and my friends have ever experienced.

I was so disappointed in them. I had heard so many great things about this company. I really wanted…read moreto try them out. We needed to replace our split ac unit. I called and they emailed us a quote. When we finally were ready to purchase it. My husband called and spoke to Jerry about it and resent him the email so he could confirm availability. Then we waited 1-2 days to hear back. We didn't hear back so we called and spoke with Jerry again he said he did get our email (although he never responded to us to let us know he was working on anything) and he was checking the warehouse for availability. He said he should know by the end of the day Friday. I called Tuesday since I did not hear back from him. He said he needed to come out and check out our set up and check with his guys. I said he could come the next Wednesday and see. Then he did come out Wednesday morning before noon and saw what he needed. I once again waited to hear back from him never did. I called Friday morning and left a voicemail to see when we could set up the install. 2 weeks have gone by at this point. He never called back. We called another company they gave us a quote and we have an install scheduled 2 days later! That's the service we were looking for. What a shame! I gave 2 stars because when I did have interactions with Jerry he was very friendly and did come out the day he said he would. However, they really dropped the ball on a job that was over 3,000 dollars In this economy that's not easy to part with. I sure didn't want to do business with someone who has no time for me.

I normally wouldn't write a review for a company whose services I've never used, but I felt this…read moreexperience was worth sharing because it speaks to how a business responds when an issue is brought to its attention. This morning, while sitting in traffic near Boca Raton, one of JVAC's marked service vans aggressively used the express lane exit to bypass traffic before forcing its way back into the travel lane. The driver continued all the way to the plastic delineator posts and nearly clipped the mirror off the pickup truck in front of me. It was an incredibly aggressive and disrespectful maneuver that reflected poorly on the company. As a business owner myself, I know employees don't always make the best decisions. I own an electrical contracting company, and if one of my employees was driving one of my marked vehicles like that, I would absolutely want someone to let me know. Insurance is expensive enough, and your company's reputation is too important to have it damaged by careless driving. I called the number on the back of the van expecting at least a little defensiveness, but I was pleasantly surprised. The owner answered, listened to my concerns without making excuses, thanked me for bringing it to his attention, and assured me he would address the issue with the driver. That level of accountability deserves recognition. We all know how difficult it is to find and keep good employees, and one employee shouldn't necessarily define an entire company. Hopefully this becomes a learning experience for the driver and helps prevent something more serious from happening in the future. While I can't comment on the quality of JVAC's HVAC work, I can say I appreciated the professionalism and accountability shown by the owner when a legitimate concern was brought to his attention.
