I hate big theaters that seat close to 100 people. They have done some renovations. They now have the reclining leather seats and they have a tray for food that swings in front of you and it has a cup holder in it. The recline on the seats is perfect and they are so comfortable. The seats and theater is also very clean. The worker who we bought our tickets and concessions from was also very helpful. She pointed us towards a drink and popcorn combo that ended saving us money and getting us more popcorn and drink! I literally don't want to go to another theater besides this one - not interested! I do not live in the area, but I am more than willing to make the drive to experience this theater again!

Modern building with small viewing rooms on 3 floors (elevator available) with a nostalgic feel, friendly knowledgeable staff, comfy seating, and indie movie offerings. We saw "Touch" there, a beautiful film that takes place in London, Tokyo and Iceland. Unique, romantic and heartwarming. The Sag Harbor Cinema has an upstairs rooftop bar, plus snacks/merch for sale in the downstairs lobby. It's a nonprofit org with various community events as well. We reserved our tickets online but they do accommodate walk-ins. A real find for movie buffs.

Call me a movie snob, but maybe I've become too boogie and accustomed to luxury cinemas over the past couple of years.... I mustn't lie, the seating in this cinema is far from comfy, and in fact I have no idea how my small kids even made it through the entire movie!!!!!! On a somewhat dreary cool Sunday we decided to take the kids to see a kids movie that had very limited show times in all of the surrounding luxury cinemas. That's not a complaint or a shot at those cinemas, because it makes total sense to show kids movies earlier in the day. As a result we opted to drive 35 minutes out of the way to Lisbon amc theater. My experience was less than memorable. Here are my pros and cons Pros. Bigger showtime selection. Delicious soda fountain drink selection(just doubtful the machines have ever been cleaned). Sound quality is always better at the movie theater. Cons: Not enough staffing....... resulting in a very confusing entrance, when there is no one working the window. Cleanliness is subpar. Time for a seating upgrade, at the very least. Less food and drink options than a luxury cinemas. Will I return??? Possibly!?? No time soon that's for sure

They also never turned off the indoor lights so we were unable to see it properly for the time we were there, so we were pretty sure it was their inability. They must be understaffed too because they make you wait in a line out the door even if you have prepaid tickets. Some convenience (?!) fee you pay to have prepaid tickets.

The theater has been around a while and definitely shows some wear and tear. The carpet could stand a good steaming and some of the seats have rocked a bit too much and are now off kilter. I found myself wishing the audio was a bit louder as well. All in all, though, a decent choice for an out of the way theater, if you're looking to avoid the crowds.

For parking I would park in the lot behind all the shops across the street. Do not pay for parking until 3 hours after you park. I payed thinking I had to pay for 3 hours but then it started charging me hour by hour and I kept having to leave the movie because there is no cell service in the theater!

DO NOT USE ANY OF THE CLAW MACHINES-THEY STEAL AND ARE SCAMS…read more I went to see backrooms today and I tried one of their claw machines as I was waiting for popcorn-many of these machines are token operated, meaning you have to pay a large amount of money for a certain amount of tokens. I paid for TEN DOLLARS worth of tokens and received...nothing. Not as in prizes, as in tokens-meaning the machine did not give me any tokens at all and I was robbed of my money. I asked an employee for help-I could smell beer on his breathe and he could barely stand. He told me they rented the machines and if I wanted any of my money back I'd have to call their support number. All I wanted was to have a good time...I got robbed and treated like shit by an alcoholic employee. Do yourself a favour...wait for it to come out on streaming.
