He knows the tax law, he knows the IRS and NYS reporting requirements extremely well, and for the price of his fee I know I am getting good value and the best amount on my return that is possible. John sends out a checklist of required reporting documents before the appointment, which is appreciated by those of us who are not too organized. He asks the right questions to you, to make sure that everything is being reported as needed by the law, or that would maximize your return. My previous years return is already on the screen when I arrive for my appointment, and it is simply a matter of updating the numbers and any changes. I'm at the office 30 - 45 minutes usually.
