I used James for my accountant for 8 years, the last 4 years have been hell. James misspelled my daughters name and put the wrong ss#, after him telling me that someone must have stolen her identity and claimed her on their taxes I went to the ss office and after wasting 6 hours I found out that it was his mess up. My taxes have been sent back to me the past three years for mistakes, I moved over a year ago and he still couldn't get my new address right. Last month I had no choice but to get someone else to do my taxes. After the new accountant went over everything he found tons of mistakes with my business and personal filings. Today I received another "6 in the past year" certified letter from the state on another unfiled unemployment form with a $1000.00 fine for the non file. For three months he never did my payroll filings like he was supposed to do but he took his money right out of my account without doing anything. James used to be good but now is to big for his britches, he puts everything off to someone else to do and has no quality control. Please do not use this guy for anything but standard returns if that. He screwed me for the last three years and I almost lost a house because my returns were not done and he didn't even file my 2013 business return until May "I was there in February". When I told him I had to leave because of these problems his response was fine and hung up on me. Real professional response! I would have never even have taken time to write this until my new letter I received today, he has cost me thousands in fines and penalties over the years including the new fine today from something that was supposed to be done on 7/30/15. Thanks James for not doing what I paid you to do. I hope this doesn't happen to anyone else. read more
