I have been using Bookkeeper360 since 2014 and I love that they're focused on Xero as the software; it's much much better than Quickbooks. My company is a web design and hosting agency (www.townweb.com) and we need to break out costs differently from other companies, especially within our niche. I like that we have such a high level of customization for how our chart of accounts are organized. The best thing about Bookkeeper360 is the monthly account review. It's easy to schedule and efficient. I get a monthly email asking me to schedule a time with my bookkeeper that fits in my schedule. Like clockwork on the time our meeting is supposed to take place, I get a call from my bookkeeper and am granted access to see his screen to go through my books. The thoroughness of the monthly review session is invaluable because it gives me the big picture overview...and it's done on a regular and monthly basis, so it helps me stay in track. Another nice feature that I pay for as an add-on is the Expensify integration. I pay a nominal amount each month that grants me access to the Expensify app. I use this app to take pictures of receipts as I receive them, so they can be rolled into my monthly expenses. Everything is streamlined! -- Update April 14, 2017 -- I am updating my review because my recommendations have changed (for the worse). My price with BK360 had increased three times in less than two years. One price increase came during tax season, which made it hard for us business owners to adjust. It was an untimely price increase and it was not an insignificant price increase. It was a whopping $1200/yr price increase. And then just a few months later, I received an email stating that my price will increase again to AN ADDITIONAL $1,200/yr! I was livid, as you could imagine. They then had the audacity to say that if I wanted to break my contract with them, I would have to pay for an additional month of service before they would release me as a client and transfer my Xero account to a different provider. I told them that I would not pay for the additional month's worth of service, and because they changed the pricing on our contract, I was no longer bound to the new terms & conditions. Do they provide good service? Yes. Is Bookkeeping360 a trustworthy service who looks after my best interest? In my opinion, no. We used Bookkeeper360 for more than a year with our cine.io business. They were incredibly helpful, knowledgeable, and affordable. I'd give them 5 stars, but Nick did make one mistake with our California Franchise Tax board filing and it took me a few back-and-forth emails to convince him of it before he addressed it. In the end, though, he addressed it and took care of everything. Steve at Bookkeeper360 was also very helpful as we wound down the business, making the somewhat painful process less-so. This month marks the 1 year anniversary with Bookkeeper 360. All I can say is that I wish I signed up with them sooner.
