    I have been doing business with Cedarwood insurance partners for over 20 years. I recently made a…read morecall regarding liability coverage in reference to my neighbor installing a metal roof. I was encouraged by the code enforcement officer to call my insurance agent with questions relating to the hazards that relate to metal roofs. Our houses are very close and I was concerned about heavy falling snow and ice coming of and damaging my vehicle or injuring someone. In short, I was trying to prevent a problem before one happened and tried to find out more details as to who would be responsible for what should something happen Here was my answer: "I never heard of such a thing." O.K. online, even contractors recommend calling insurances companies since many don't cover them do to safety concerns. After being put on hold and told I needed to speak to Mary, she was the expert, I waited. All I got from the receptionist ( Mary was busy) was that I would have to prove negligence, but either way I was covered. The problem... I felt I was interrupting something and made to feel like an idiot for calling. I'm calling to prevent an issue, not create one. Even when I called back and wanted to speak to Mary about removing my pool (which has been emptied and is coming down) I got nothing in response. I asked Mary if I needed to call when it all came down... she said "um..O.K.." That's my answer! A little help and information here would be nice. That's when I realized that after all of these years I have been paying for home and auto policies that keep going up every 6 months and despite not filing any claims, I pay on time all of the time, and this being my first call in a vey long time (and only an inquisitive one at that), recommending them to my in-laws (who are now with them) and all I get in return is basically being blown off and made out to feel like an idiot means its time for me to move on. Customer service is terrible! and I apologize for being an interruption to a business that has no problem taking my money but doesn't want to be bothered with any calls.
