As the only cinema in Co. Clare, I have been coming here from a very young age. The usually offer the more popular blockbuster type movies, so if you are looking for something a little more artsy or indie it may disappoint :/
That being said, the place is always clean and the staff generally friendly (I have had one run-in with soemone at the ticket desk, an older staff member who was very sharp and quite frankly rude, however as a one off I'll let it slide).
They do a wide range of snacks, including popcorn, soft drinks, chocolate, candy, nachos, crisps...everything you need to get you through a 2.5hr movie!
Two sets of toilets, one in the lobby near the ticket office, and one further along up near the screens at the back of the complex (these usually have a shorter queue so if you really are bursting to go, these would be your safest bet!)
Elevator from the ground floor lobby, while makes the place completely wheelchair accessible, however not sure about spaces within the theatre rooms themselves (pretty sure there is space at the very back where people in wheelchairs can view the screen from).
Some of the older theatre rooms have not been upgraded yet, as such the seats are smaller and not as comfortable, however as stated before they are all clean and kept in good condition so for me it's not a deal-breaker.
They do special rates for children, OAP's & students, and also an early morning matinee club for parents and their children (great for parties!). This is a good idea because the cinema is located in the middle of a busy district of the town and so later in the evening, especially on a Friday night, there can be alot of rowdy, and slightly tipsy, people hanging around the bars that are nearby.
One final note, they allow for advanced booking and ticket collection, which is a great service if you are planning on viewing something on it's opening night! read more
