We stopped by a beach for lunch and did some sight seeing with caves where he told us some stories about the attractions. The level of accommodation was also stellar as he was able to be flexible with our needs. Some of our friends were sea sick and requested to be dropped off a beach to relax and picked up later. The captain planned our day around that and helped to keep time of when we would go pick up our friends. The coral reefs were so vibrant and we saw so many fishes in the ocean. The captain made us feel safe that he has our back in case we swayed too far from the boat or needed help. I am not a swimmer but the boat had noodles and life jackets that he did not mind taking out and putting away as we went about our day. I appreciated how respectful the captain was about the island and the rules implemented such as reef safe sunscreens, no touching the turtles and so on. We had a great time and learned a thing or two! Towards the end of the trip a friend realized he had forgotten something on the boat and sonic charters helped us locate the boat and captain to retrieve it. Coming from nyc, it would have been long gone but glad we got it back. We had a great time, I would recommend them for anyone visiting and want their own boat to get away from the crowds.

We knew we wanted to take an excursion from St. John and luckily, our resort (Ritz Carlton Club) was able to find us the perfect trip with Chris. We departed our hotel (with our own drinks and snacks), coolers, towels, diving/snorkel gear were provided. Chris also coordinated going through customs at British Virgin Islands, our first stop were the Baths. It was an amazing ride with the beautiful waters, scenic shorelines, and awesome captain. Chris is not only a skilled captain but a great tour guide having grown up and spending a lot of time in this region. He pointed out the top beaches and a lot of other landmarks along the way. We spent time navigating through the Baths (I suggest water shoes as the ground was fairly hot and some of the rocks, nooks, and tunnels you have to go through are pretty challenging for the some of us. We touched many of the other islands like Tortola, Virgin Gorda, and had lunch at the Soggy Dollar with Chris. Chris is personable, professional, and has a 'good seaside manner'--very skilled at the helm. Loved this trip, Chris and Local Legend made it one of our most memorable travels.

We probably had a few more rum drinks in us than the instruction manual recommends, but the staff…read moregot us geared up, life jackets on, safety talk done, and sent us out across the bright blue water of Saint Thomas. These machines are no joke either modern Yamaha and Sea-Doo jet skis that'll absolutely fly across the water if you let them. Next thing you know, we're out there like a couple of overgrown kids checking off a bucket-list item I normally wouldn't splurge on. Another couple pulled up beside us and suddenly it turned into what felt like the Caribbean Grand Prix. Hard banking turns, hopping wakes, spraying each other with rooster tails of water like a bunch of irresponsible pirates. At one point it felt less like jet skiing and more like bumper cars on the ocean. The laughter, the shouting, the pure reckless joy of the moment it was childish, ridiculous, and absolutely unforgettable. I'm not saying we broke every rule... but I'm also not saying we didn't. Now don't get me wrong be responsible out there. These guys take safety seriously, with briefings, life jackets, and a safety boat nearby while you ride. But I'll say this: from the friendly staff to the convenient location (even our cab driver told us to go there), it turned into one of the most fun memories of the whole trip. Nobody got hurt, nothing got damaged, we didn't get hauled off by the marine police and somehow we rode back to the dock laughing like kids who just got away with something. I usually save my money for boat tours and cruises... but this? Totally worth it. One of the wildest, funniest afternoons I've ever had on the water.

Omar, our driver, was always on time and had the SUV in tip top shape. Clean inside and out and smelled nice. Omar did a great job navigating us back to the airport on the final day of Carnival. I cannot say enough about our Captain Dusty. He was incredible! He took us to the Baths, Willy T and the Indians. Jumped off the top of Willy T for hours and that Crispy Chicken sandwich was amazing! Great snorkeling, great lunch and Captain's good company. Dusty kept our two 12 YO boys happy by speeding over the waves and lifting them off their seats. He also let them experience actually driving the boat all the way down the channel (under his supervision of course). Made both of them feel like they were the Captains for the day. We have chartered boats all over the Virgin Islands and we have never experienced such a unique blend of professionalism, courtesy and sincere desire to make your day on the water the best day ever. The Captain and his crew were very knowledgeable and entertaining. They really cater to what you want to get out of the trip. I was a snorkeling "virgin" and Dusty was very patient helping me to figure out how to get everything on correctly and even gave me some pointers on how to swim deeper and see all the fascinating wildlife underwater. The staff was great at navigating the waters and getting us up close to the action... and keeping us fed and hydrated when we weren't floating with the fishies. When choosing a charter to have the experience of a lifetime, I can't see any other option than Good Day Charters. I can't wait to get back and do it all over again!

I called them before I left Houston Texas. I called them when I arrived in Saint Thomas. They said everything was good. 30 minutes before. I'm supposed to meet the captain. They secretary call me and cancel the trip. What's very suspicious is they didn't know that. I rented a condominium that overlook the boat slip. 24 that the secretary told me I was supposed to meet. The captain woke up very early, and I watched him scurry out of the marina with the boat. The next three hours I asked questions with very conflicting stories. Everybody had a different story. I smell a rat. I smell a liar. Do not book a trip with these people. They are liars.

Tyler was phenomenal and grandpa had the best time. They brought in 14 amazing fish and he got them grill-ready fast! Gramps has fished all over the world and he said this was the #1 day fishing trip he's ever been on in his life. We'll be coming back to the Double Header crew in the future!

We did a catamaran charter in the BVIs this summer. We decided to start the trip several days…read moreearly on the island of St. John. The issue we faced was getting from St. John (USVI) to the marina on Tortola (BVI)... while there are ferrys running everywhere through the VIs, there are no direct ferry's from S. John to Tortola... go figure. The only viable option (we thought) was taking a ferry back to St. Thomas, and then catching another ferry from there to Tortola... a 1/2 day wasted, and we still needed to get through customs/immigration on Tortola, then a cab to the marina. Enter Seahorse Water Taxi! I'll say up front it's pricey... but, a boat picked us up at a dock on St. John, took us to the customs/immigration office in Soper's Hole on Tortola, then directly to the marina, where we were dropped off on the dock next to our charter boat. We didn't even get out of the boat at Soper's Hole, the captain took our passports and was in and out in 5 minutes. What could have taken 6-7 hours (with ferry transfers, etc.) took 1-1/2 hours instead. We were able to spend an extra 1/2 day on St. John! Seahorse Water Taxi was the perfect solution! They coordinate land-based transfers as well. Looking back, great price for such an excellent service! Highly recommend Seahorse!

In December 2023, Seahorse water Taxi provided a seamless transfer from the St. Thomas airport to…read moreRed Hook, onto our water taxi which transported our party of six to Sopers Hole for customs and immigration clearing and then on to our bareboat charter in Road town. We never had to get off the boat. We never had to wait at any point between our land taxi and the water taxi. It was a premium experience. In addition, the airline misplaced one of our parties bag. Once the airline had located the bag and it was on its way to St. Thomas, Seahorse arraigned to get the bag to us when it arrived the next day. Amy the general manager does a fantastic job. We are here customers for our future trips to the BVI.
