Living in Philly for years has made me real picky about my subs, or my hoagies if you will. You will not be disappointed with this spot. I'm smitten The Lunchbox is right off Northlake and Military in the Winn Dixie plaza. It's inconspicuously placed between the Jackson Hewitt and PB body sculpting. The service was purely delightful! We were greeted genuinely when we walked in the door and we were treated with kindness. The menu is vast so take your time. We both went with Italian subs - 12". Right after we ordered we were offered samples of homemade tomato soup. Ooooh boy it was sooooooo gooooood!!! I mean it was top notch. I wanted to slurp it out of the plastic ramekin then use my finger to clean out every last drop, but I have manners ... The subs were SUPERB! Meat and cheese were fresh, and the bread must have been baked in heaven! the sub was perfect. I tried to find a flaw and there was none. I mean...I have no cons about this place at all except that it's not closer to my house. I ate and left no crumbs as the kiddos say lol!! The juice was perfectly flavor balanced, too. The place was clean, bright and the chairs were the perfect height for me I told the man who I assumed was the owner that I wish I could hug him that sub was so good! He smiled an laughed. (I was fully prepared for a hug, tho hahaha) I am officially in love with a sandwich shop. Don't tell my boyfriend!! He might not take me back. And I have to go back for tomato soup!!! Another review giving it to you straight, no chaser. Enjoy! */Elizabeth aka The Hungry Poet/*

With the provolone cheese, grilled onions, pickle and aoli sauce, this burger was a two handed 10 napkin delicious challenge. It came with fries and a soda. Great food reasonably priced!

It's in the middle of a small strip of stores. Inside the restaurant, there are several booths and a counter. We had good service. The food is cooked to order and came out piping hot. As they're Argentinian, I knew I wanted to get some sort of meat/beef here. I chose a steak sandwich and my husband had one of their burger combos. The steak sandwich came on an oblong crusty bread roll that was heated and pressed. It had green peppers, sliced tomatoes, and cheese along with the meat on it. It usually has onions and a bit of mayo, but I left both off. It was good, but my husband's burger was even better. His smash burger was made with short rib and he said he could taste the difference. Along with the meat, there were onions, provolone cheese, and garlic aioli. It was messy but very tasty. For his combo side, he got French fries. They were okay -- not my favorites. We did get to try their cheesy bread while waiting for our sandwiches and it was delicious. I might have him upgrade to this as a side next time. They carry Coke products. We were happy with our sodas. If you're looking for an exceptional burger and are in the area, stop here. You won't be disappointed.

Their tequeños and Colombian empanadas (typically cheese) are my favorite of their savory pastries. The tequeños are a soft buttery dough stick with stretchy mozzarella-type cheese in the middle while the Colombian empanadas are made with cornmeal instead of flour, and I also like the cheese filling, but frankly, I like all of them. The sweet pastries are usually very good (especially the alfajores), but the last time I got an assortment of sweet pastries, they tasted like they may have been defrosted... they weren't the freshest. Nonetheless, the staff is always very willing to help choose from their myriad of delights - both in English and Spanish, and their prices are very reasonable. Great place to pick up a bite for the road or to sit down for a casual cup of coffee or meal with a friend.

The two ladies taking care of the day were warm, friendly and quick to offer whatever I needed. Was genuinely surprised with the portion for lunch which included a soup - today it was a light chicken vegetable- not sure if it was zucchini or squash as my Spanish signal crossed but it made me so full I only could enjoy a couple bites from my lunch meal. The maduros were excellent juicy and toasty on the outside, beans had a nice season and the shredded chicken was good. I am only speaking out of Spanish rice love the texture was a little more soft then grainy but still good. Value for meal excellent, service was great, a little warm in the day so you know the summer in Florida is around the corner! Watch your turning into the signal the sidewalk entrance is very tight fit for the plaza.

We got the gyro platter which came with tzatziki sauce, and 4 pita triangles, and a choice of two sides. The beef/lamb meat mixture was thinly sliced off the rotisserie and recooked in the grill. For our two sides we got babaghanoush and garlic potatoes. The eggplant baba was chunky. And benefited from a touch of salt. The garlic pores were okay. They found have been better if hotter in temperature. The portion was sufficient to share. As we paid at the cashier, we found out that the background of the restaurant is Lebanese. Glad we came to check them out.

On top of that the juices have food coloring leaving us with colored tongues. Be careful everyone. Stay away from this place fooling costumers!
